I’m a guy in my late 30s currently working in tech as a deisgner and living in the Bay Area. Lately, I've been looking for a community where I feel a stronger belonging, especially when it comes to culture.
I’m originally from Seoul, and I really miss that 24/7 city vibe the young and dynamic energy, but also having a some family community around. I’m a bit burnt out on the "tech bro" monoculture here in the bay and want to live somewhere people with background like a mix of industries like fashion, art, business, and finance.
I feel like the NYC metro area might have what I’m looking for. I don't need to live directly in the city. I'm open to the suburbs as long as it has a reasonable commute into city. My long-term goal is to buy a multi-family home (like a duplex), so I'm looking for an area that still has real estate opportunities.
Does anyone have suburb or neighborhood suggestions? I'd appreciate any input!
I'm still waiting my biometrics appt notice. (As of June 11) It has been over a month since the received date (05/06) for my I-485 application. I am wondering if it usually takes this long to receive the biometrics appointment notice.
Additionally, I have been checking my online account. I wonder if the appt notice will be shown up under the 'Documents' tab once it is scheduled. Can anyone confirm this please?
Hello! I'm a beginner, and I got recommended the 4423 by the YouTuber Glory Allan.
It looks like both the 4423 and 4452 are the same machine, but the 4452 has more stitch options and is currently cheaper on Amazon(not sure why its cheaper).
Is there any difference other than the stitch options? Would you recommend the 4423 over the 4452?

For the past few years, I have been following his YouTube channel. He has great taste and curation skills, not only in how he wears clothes but also in many aspects of his lifestyle vlogs. He seems to be in his mid-to-late twenties, and I wonder how he was able to start his business. I heard that he was a gym trainer a few years ago. How was he able to launch his new brand, particularly producing quality clothing at mass? Does he have factories outside of the US or UK?
