Major Scheduling question (U-Albany)

So talking to my Academic Advisor on my schedule and having questions regarding my potential Major.

Flipping between doing either a double major in History and Political Science or doing a Major in Adolescent Education & Minor in History if I'm doing education that's really the only options

So pearly on the prospects & Quality of those Majors which is the better option?

\-additionally you can just put the pros & cons that can be helpful too here-

Connection day & Welcome Week/ Orientation

I got an email regarding things to continue my application and one of them was regarding connection day & Orientation, but I wasn't able to go to the first ones in June & July

I need an academic advisor which I wasn't assigned due to me not attending, so asking is there a way to get one assigned for me, or in general how this works for cases like this. If you can help with this I'll really appreciate it. Thank

Edit- This is about finding & getting in contact with my Academic Advisor & getting back on track with my application process.

Sorry explained it badly, I Copied & Pasted this from a text. And some of this stuff I found out after I made that text I ripped this from

Did anyone else had issues with ID verification on the Inceptia

So, not to be rude or anything but did anyone before or going through the application process had issues with the ID verification regarding FAFSA & Inceptia

Because to this point I have been having issues with it, and went through the process 4 times with it dragging out long enough to have my uAlbany application a bit on the line. I wanna know is it just me or had others had issues regarding this ID verification

Also kinda related, but is the Heath portal Linked with the process for verification on financial assistance?. Asking because I don't have access to my health portal despite paying my enrollment like months ago ATP. It keeps giving an "error" because of something with my enrollment. (And if not can someone with upstanding with uAlbany help me here regarding that, I'll really appreciate it. I do want to go to your school. Thank you very much)

Is this laptop good? Offer from a family member here

Kinda random but a family member just kinda showed up and offered me a laptop, there giving it for about $300

Model: Hp Elitebook 640 G10

Processor: i7-1365u

Ram: 16gb ram

Storage: 512gb

Like I said before with my previous posts, I don't need much for my major. Maybe the most intensive is econ but that's it.

We're probably going to get it either way due to the convenience since we can just pick it up as well as test it first but ya.

Just wanna check here

Edit: ya screwed up the wording in the first line. Don't know how that happened. "to be a laptop" 😅😭😭

Is this a good laptop for the New Year

Irrelevant in this but majoring in History

Anyways found this Lenovo Thinkpad L15 Gen 4

16gb of ram + 512gb of storage and a Ryzen 5 Pro 567U Processor

For around $459 + Tax

Yes it's refurbished but wanna know if its a good laptop find for the new Year or if I should detour to something more new or in a higher bracket

(Ngl kind of a side quest just found it while I was looking for laptops and wanted to know if I should get it, have other options in my cart as well)

Question?

Looking at getting (it's one option out of multiple as I'm looking at a collage laptop) a MacBook Air M2 & wonder if its worth it getting the fair condition since it's so much less

So those who did get it, how is their fair condition. Is it worth it. Or should I go up to good

Might be a weird question but I'm just asking. Thanks!

How is the Jupiter jcl750s

So looking into intermittent clarinets & came across the jupiter jcl750s. But found limited places to get it and limited reviews on it.

Perhaps because it is a new model + it's not from a bigger brand like Yamaha, but just for reference.

Anyone who got it, how is it? Is it good? And what u got with it?

And I mean actual people who got it, doesn't mean if u didn't I won't value ur opinions or views but I'm primarily looking for people who actually got it and if it's good for me to get it, hope you understand. Respectfully

If my parents go through with me spending that much on an instrument '==

Red Flood: Reworked- British East Indies Revolt (British Raj & Burma w./w. Out Tags)

Lore: Following the turbulent 1918 revolution the colonial governments of the British Raj & Burma have become tenuous as ideas of Nationalism, Independence, & and revolutionary socialism has unraveled the fragile intertwining of dominans, pricey states and local colonial rule. Additionally, the destructive ideas of accelerationism started flooding into the subcontinent through the French port cities of the south and the writings from the subconscious of madmen now being expressed through plethora of ways by local indian traditions.

The Bombay government was coup out by the local INC, the Madras Presidency split between a religious Hindu cult inspired by the ideas of accelerationism & the reminisce of the government now reformed, and finally the British Raj government now desperately holding on to the reminisce of there regime. Appointing the Imperial Autocratic, Winston Churchill at its head, will hold on to imperial control at any cost no matter the bloodshed that is deemed "Necessary" for imperial security & order.

Enjoy, a bit of lore dump, but ay!! hope it's not too much

And credit to u/Mstae67 for finding the portrait of Archibald Cochrane & for making the poster of B.G. Kher I very much appreciate the help for this ✨

"camera-music-shop" Good Seller?

Looking around for a used clarinet and someone suggested eBay a listing from "camera-music-shop"

Saw they had a lot of history n listings so most likely others had experience with them.

To anyone who had bought from them, how credible are they? Did u get what is listed? What was the experience regarding what u got?

Just doing a bit of verification on them before I pull through. Thanks!!
