Are these FAMOUS stores trustworthy?

Inside, we found multiple goods from an assortment of luxury brands. However, as we looked further, we found clothes with holes in them and name tags that looked a little fake. I did a quick search and the Gemini overview told me that this is a chain that sells second-hand products. We asked the sales person but she vehemently disagreed and insisted everything is new and fully authentic. Since we weren't convinced, we decided to leave. We saw another such outlet a few shops down and the prices were very similar with decent products as well.

So, is this company fraudulent or do they actually sell good products?

I'm going to visit Hong Kong and I want to know if there's any cheap sneaker stores with authentic shoes

Now, I'm not just talking about random stock shoes you can find at any old nike outlet. I mean rarer shoes that aren't being produced anymore (the kind you'd normally go to StockX or GOAT for).

I'm asking this because, a few years ago, I went to Sapa, Vietnam, and I found an insane store that was selling expensive shoes for retail (all authentic). I managed to cop a pair of Midnight Navy 4s for way lower than resale price. He also had Pure Money 4s, Black Cats, a crazy collection of dunks etc. All of this for relatively cheap when compared to their prices online (they were literally all retail or just barely higher than that, which is crazy for SGD1000+ shoes).

So, my question is, are there any similar stores you know of in HK? Maybe on Sneaker Street?

Of course the shoes don't need to be for as low as retail (I know that's pretty unrealistic since not all stores are a godsend like that one), but significant discounts would be nice. If I don't end up finding any such stores then I will just end up going to normal sneaker stores, but getting shoes for cheaper is always nice.

About to start IB in August and I want to know what I should do in each of my subjects so that I can excel:

I'm starting DP in August and I'm taking HL Math AI, Econs, and History as well as SL Comp Sci, English, and French. What can I do in each subject over the summer and also during the course so that I can excel (hopefully get a 7 in all of them)?

I want to do well in these subjects without doing useless things that are inefficient or don't benefit me. I want to use my time wisely and ensure that I'm preparing for these subjects in such a way that I'm not wasting hours upon hours only to get disproportionate results.

Is there anything I can do or any action plan I can follow to achieve my goal of doing academically well in these subjects? For example, reading the newspaper for Econs or going through and actually understanding the topics we're learning for history. Not just aimlessly studying the subject matter but actually understanding the context and feeling immersed.

Basically, I want to put in effort in the right places (not necessarily the minimal amount of effort, but for some things such as CAS that may be good) so that I can get the maximum reward.

Feel free to send links to study guides or preparation material if y'all think that will help.

Thanks!

As a side note, I have tried my best to pick subjects I like so I'll be a lot more dedicated than I was in IGCSE.

Can anyone help me create a build that's going to be extremely fun to play and also high damage?

First off, I'm willing to fully restat and learn how to play a new weapon.

Now, some context: I beat the base game using a bloodhound's fang build and I fleshed it out as much as physically possible.

I've just started the DLC and I want to try something new. I'd like a build that's quite high damage because my style is genuinely to just run in and wail on the bosses. I also get greedy quite a lot😭😭

I JUST got the Rakshasa set and Rakshasa’s Great Katana. I also have the White Mask, Bloodflame Blade, Golden Vow, and Flame Grant Me Strength to boost damage. I plan to get the 2-handed talisman (in case my new build is a strength/quality build) and also the bloodsucking cracked tear.

Some of the weapons I'm considering are: Dragon Lord's Cragblade, Maliketh's Black Blade, Morgott's Cursed Sword, Sword of Night and Flame, Sword of Night, Zamor Curved Sword, any of the great katanas, Bloodfiend’s Blood Arm, Death's Poker, Dragonscale Blade etc.

Swords such as the Nagakiba could also work but I think those are more boring.

Please note I don't use jump or sprint attacks very much.

The build can also be a multi-proc build with different status effects but Bleed/Frost would be preferred.

Regarding themes, basically anything fun to play works but I was thinking of a Dragon Samurai (samurai that casts dragon incantations and maybe uses the dragon great katana), a Grim Reaper/God of Death build of some sort (Black Flame maybe? Possibly Maliketh's Spell), or some sort of Ice/Death Samurai build.

I think any build would work as long as it's fun to play, has high damage, and also follows some cool theme.

As you can see, I'm pretty indecisive. Even still, any suggestion would be much appreciated. If you don't know any build that fits the requirements, just comment your favorite one.

When recommending builds, please also give me the stats I should have (currently at Level 156).

I know you guys are experts at builds in this sub, hence I'm posting such an elaborate and vague request. Sorry for being a pain but any help would be much appreciated.

Note: Please try not to recommend pure magic builds. I prefer to play melee and be in the thick of the action. As such, I'm looking for Dex and Arcane builds mostly but if a cool sword requires a high Int stat because it's a magic sword then I'm fine with that.

Yet again, thanks so much for reading this post and trying to help me out.

War Arc Kakashi vs Full Power Kakuzu. 1v1, No Distractions, No External Chakra boosts, No Information.

another post to test how far the glaze goes. kakuzu was legitimately dogwalking akatsuki suppression kakashi (even more in the manga than the anime, cuz in the anime kakashi actually got a few hits in and kinda kept up with him). that was with the help of everyone else from the leaf ofc. and kakuzu wouldnt have lost if the entire point of the arc hadnt been to glorify the flashy new jutsu naruto made. genuine plot bullshit.

Do y'all think pain arc mr. worldwide was the strongest legal jonin globally?

ignore the existence of guy. i js wanna see how far the kakashi glaze goes.

Alive Madara and Hashirama vs Every Kage Ever (Excluding Naruto):

Who wins? As we saw, Edo Madara dog walked the 5 kage during the war arc. Furthermore, just one of his clones is easily a low kage level shinobi. Considering Hashirama scales just slightly above this madara, are they taking every kage ever granted that we exclude Naruto?

For the fight, assume that all the Kage with unknown abilities or feats scale roughly to a mid-tier Kage from that village. I.e., Ishikawa would scale somewhere between Kurotsuchi and Ohnoki, and the first 2 Kazekage would be weaker than the 3rd but significantly stronger than Rasa.

EDIT: i didnt realize the image didnt have the hokage😭😭 assume it does please.

EDIT 2: assume both sides start with their full powers and theyre also completely bloodlusted.

Who is this actor? My brain's blanking out.

(I'm talking about the guy on the right)

I swear I've seen movies with this guy before. I can distinctly remember his face but can't remember his name or a single movie he's acted in. Sorry for the terrible image quality. He looks kinda like Tobey Maguire if that's of any help.

Ty in advance!

(yo the rules say add a post flair but for the life of me i cant find the button)

EDIT: It's Lucas Black. Thanks to everyone who helped!

Would Domi Reversi Luffy beat the following characters 1v2?

All of this is assuming Domi Reversi worked.

Round 1: Luffy vs Lkainu + Kuzan

Round 2: Luffy vs Whanks + Fraudhawk

Round 3: Luffy vs Roger + WB

Round 4: Luffy vs HK Harald (1v1)

Round 5: Luffy vs Domi Reversi Rocks (1v1)

If you think he wins them all, how far does he get back-to-back with no healing in between?

And, lastly, how do you think DR will affect his G5 timer?

Favorite jutsu in all of Naruto?

Doesn't have to be the strongest, just whichever one you like the most.

Of course, feel free to list your top 3 or top 5 if you wish.

As shown in the image, one of my favorites is the Super Tailed Beast Rasenshuriken. I think it's a unique jutsu and I love the way it combines every tailed beast’s chakra/abilities.

I also have a few honourable mentions (seen in the subsequent images), such as the Phoenix Flower Jutsu, Majestic Destroyer Flame, Summoning Jutsu (I learned the hand signs as well as the name of each sign when I was younger, and I still remember them to this day), Wood Dragon Jutsu, Hirudora, and Chibaku Tensei.

Our fellow powerscaler speaks on the effects of Amaterasu:

repost cuz the first one got deleted since i didnt blur the guy's name.

but seriously, this HAS to be a new low for the naruto powerscaling community.

u/Jumpy-Response5296 — 1 month ago

Best list yet?

Favorite Design was really close, but my Top 5 would be Ethan, Yamato, Loki, Doffy, and then Ryuma.

Another close one was Most Overrated, and you don't know how close I was to putting Ace there. Personally, Zeus getting kicked out by Big Mom was sadder than Ace’s death.

Favorite Marine was between Garp and Fujitora.

I was abt to give Underrated Ability to Jozu, but then I realized Tama's fruit lwk carried Wano.

Best Laugh was going to go to Caesar, Brook, or Blackbeard, but then I remembered the legendary, "Chapapapapa."

Also, ik for a fact the Midhawk glazers are coming after me, but ion care he's mid asl and overrated.

Top 10 most wasted potential characters in Naruto: (READ)

These are, in my opinion, the characters from the show that were so cool and should have been given more screen time and actual stories. Each one had some fire abilities and they were really good for the time they were on screen. Some of them didn't actually have their abilities revealed (i.e., Sakumo), but statements and just the hype around them justifies their placement here.

Feel free to tell me which characters you think should be on this list.

  1. Old Kage: Kishimoto did really well reviving some of the Kages using Edo Tensei, but it would've been really nice if we got more information about the strength of the other villages over the years. Specifically, we know next to nothing about the first two Kage of the Lighting and Sand villages.

  2. OG Uzumaki Clan: We literally got one frame of their leader next to Hashirama and a narrator in the background saying they were mad overpowered. I would have loved to see how they actually fought and why the entire world thought they were a huge problem.

  3. Yagura: It would've been cool to see another Jinchuriki fight, but more importantly expanding more on Yagura would give us insight into the infamous Blood Mist Village. I think it could be a really cool plotline that would develop the mist village.

  4. Tobirama: All we know about him is that he invented a bunch of jutsu and he could use water style. The only fight we saw him in in the past lasted like 3 seconds and I'm pretty sure half of it was filler (him looking into Izuna's eyes etc.). It would've genuinely been EPIC if we got to see him actually use the jutsu he developed and if we got to see the fight between him and the Kinkaku and Ginkaku tracking squad. People would finally stop calling him a fraud. My goat lwk got done dirty bro 🥲🥲

  5. Kushina: I mean for the short amount of time we saw her on screen she held down a full power Kurama using her adamantine chains even though she was weakened. It would have been nice to see more of her character and abilities.

  6. Neji: He was the only one out of the Konoha 11 to have become a Jonin at the start of shippuden, but his abilities barely changed from part 1 and then the next time we saw him he took a thorn to the gut and died. His death wasn't even made meaningful they moved on after 30 seconds. It would have been so much better if we got to see more of what really made him a prodigy.

  7. Shisui Uchiha: His MS was by far one of the most broken in the series and the fact that he had a flee on sight order merits a little more expansion into his character and abilities. We also know he was named Shisui the Teleporter but we barely even got to see him use the body flicker technique.

  8. Sakumo Hatake: I mean he was touted as someone stronger than all of the Sannin at his peak. More lore and at least one fight would have been nice.

  9. Hanzo: I think everyone can agree with me on this. He was such a cool character. One of the strongest in the verse pre-war 100%. His fight (not really, it was more of a talk) with Mifune was genuinely so entertaining I loved every second of it. And also, Hanzo of the Salamander is just such a tuff ass nickname.

  10. Mangetsu Hozuki: Easily top 2, if not the strongest of the 7 swordsmen (I personally think he beats Kisame). He could wield all 7 blades and was known as the second coming of the demon. He was an overall cool character and I would have loved to see a reunion between him and Suigetsu as well as some more concrete feats to back up the hype around him. I also wish we got some dialogue from him 😭😭

Note: Of course the Konoha 11 all needed more development, but I think Kishimoto did enough to introduce their characters and abilities. While some people like Ino and Ten Ten got fully overshadowed, I personally didn't care for any of the Konoha 11 much (except Lee, Neji and Shikamaru) so I don't really mind. Shikamaru was basically a fully fledged out character, and personally I wasn't too angry about what they did with lee. Having him open up to the 6th Gate was more than enough, though I do wish they would have given him more fights. I would love if I could see more on the characters above, whereas I would like to see the Konoha 11 get more screen time, but I would prefer the former far more.

So, what are your guys' thoughts?
