Best list yet?

Best list yet?

Favorite Design was really close, but my Top 5 would be Ethan, Yamato, Loki, Doffy, and then Ryuma.

Another close one was Most Overrated, and you don't know how close I was to putting Ace there. Personally, Zeus getting kicked out by Big Mom was sadder than Ace’s death.

Favorite Marine was between Garp and Fujitora.

I was abt to give Underrated Ability to Jozu, but then I realized Tama's fruit lwk carried Wano.

Best Laugh was going to go to Caesar, Brook, or Blackbeard, but then I remembered the legendary, "Chapapapapa."

Also, ik for a fact the Midhawk glazers are coming after me, but ion care he's mid asl and overrated.

Top 10 most wasted potential characters in Naruto: (READ)

These are, in my opinion, the characters from the show that were so cool and should have been given more screen time and actual stories. Each one had some fire abilities and they were really good for the time they were on screen. Some of them didn't actually have their abilities revealed (i.e., Sakumo), but statements and just the hype around them justifies their placement here.

Feel free to tell me which characters you think should be on this list.

  1. Old Kage: Kishimoto did really well reviving some of the Kages using Edo Tensei, but it would've been really nice if we got more information about the strength of the other villages over the years. Specifically, we know next to nothing about the first two Kage of the Lighting and Sand villages.

  2. OG Uzumaki Clan: We literally got one frame of their leader next to Hashirama and a narrator in the background saying they were mad overpowered. I would have loved to see how they actually fought and why the entire world thought they were a huge problem.

  3. Yagura: It would've been cool to see another Jinchuriki fight, but more importantly expanding more on Yagura would give us insight into the infamous Blood Mist Village. I think it could be a really cool plotline that would develop the mist village.

  4. Tobirama: All we know about him is that he invented a bunch of jutsu and he could use water style. The only fight we saw him in in the past lasted like 3 seconds and I'm pretty sure half of it was filler (him looking into Izuna's eyes etc.). It would've genuinely been EPIC if we got to see him actually use the jutsu he developed and if we got to see the fight between him and the Kinkaku and Ginkaku tracking squad. People would finally stop calling him a fraud. My goat lwk got done dirty bro 🥲🥲

  5. Kushina: I mean for the short amount of time we saw her on screen she held down a full power Kurama using her adamantine chains even though she was weakened. It would have been nice to see more of her character and abilities.

  6. Neji: He was the only one out of the Konoha 11 to have become a Jonin at the start of shippuden, but his abilities barely changed from part 1 and then the next time we saw him he took a thorn to the gut and died. His death wasn't even made meaningful they moved on after 30 seconds. It would have been so much better if we got to see more of what really made him a prodigy.

  7. Shisui Uchiha: His MS was by far one of the most broken in the series and the fact that he had a flee on sight order merits a little more expansion into his character and abilities. We also know he was named Shisui the Teleporter but we barely even got to see him use the body flicker technique.

  8. Sakumo Hatake: I mean he was touted as someone stronger than all of the Sannin at his peak. More lore and at least one fight would have been nice.

  9. Hanzo: I think everyone can agree with me on this. He was such a cool character. One of the strongest in the verse pre-war 100%. His fight (not really, it was more of a talk) with Mifune was genuinely so entertaining I loved every second of it. And also, Hanzo of the Salamander is just such a tuff ass nickname.

  10. Mangetsu Hozuki: Easily top 2, if not the strongest of the 7 swordsmen (I personally think he beats Kisame). He could wield all 7 blades and was known as the second coming of the demon. He was an overall cool character and I would have loved to see a reunion between him and Suigetsu as well as some more concrete feats to back up the hype around him. I also wish we got some dialogue from him 😭😭

Note: Of course the Konoha 11 all needed more development, but I think Kishimoto did enough to introduce their characters and abilities. While some people like Ino and Ten Ten got fully overshadowed, I personally didn't care for any of the Konoha 11 much (except Lee, Neji and Shikamaru) so I don't really mind. Shikamaru was basically a fully fledged out character, and personally I wasn't too angry about what they did with lee. Having him open up to the 6th Gate was more than enough, though I do wish they would have given him more fights. I would love if I could see more on the characters above, whereas I would like to see the Konoha 11 get more screen time, but I would prefer the former far more.

So, what are your guys' thoughts?

My Top 10 TV Shows Of All Time:

Below you'll find a list of some of my favorite shows of all time. Don't get pissed at me because the list is filled with mostly popular picks (I mean the shows are popular because they're good) and doesn't have some niche 1990s crime thriller. If you haven't watched one of the shows featured below, I HIGHLY recommend that you try it (or them if you haven't watched multiple) out because they're actually really good shows.

Feel free to question me in the comments, recommend other shows to watch, or tell me what you think about the shows listed (if you watched them that is)!

Side Note: I just finished Season 6 of Game of Thrones but it's already amazing (people say the ending isn't the best but I wanna see it for myself).

Top 10:

  1. Two and a Half Men (I refuse to believe anything post S8 exists, funniest show I've ever watched)
  2. Peaky Blinders (Compelling characters, great setting)
  3. One Piece (Really long, but if you keep watching it's worth it because it's such a huge world and everything comes together)
  4. Money Heist (Really engaging watch)
  5. Better Call Saul (Gripping characters, great progression)
  6. DARK (Most mind-bending show ever)
  7. Attack on Titan (Peak show, everything makes sense, great character development and story)
  8. Code Geass (Best ending of any show ever, insane MC)
  9. Breaking Bad (Ozymandias is the best TV episode of all time, great story and characters)
  10. Game of Thrones (Insane characters, beautiful and immersive world, great story)
  11. Naruto (Amazing story with great characters, good emotion, INSANE villains and amazing overall progression)

Yes I know I technically have 11 but I HAD to tie those 2 for one because I genuinely couldn't decide.

As mentioned above, please tell me what you think.

Also, there may be other shows that make this list but I'm forgetting about them because I'm really sleepy rn.

  48. Marineford (OP)

  49. Wano Country (OP)

  50. Pain's Assault (Naruto)

  51. Chunin Exams (Naruto)

Controversial Take Justifications:

Why is Jaya the worst arc?
- I personally found it extremely boring and the only note-worthy interaction was with Teach.

Why is Long Ring Long Land above so many other arcs?
- While it's not a good arc by any stretch of the word, I found many moments in it funny and that is the sole reason it's above some of the arcs I found quite boring.

Why is Fishman Island not higher?
- It is arguably the worst arc in the series. Only thing keeping it afloat is Luffy using CoC on the army of 100,000 Fishmen.

Why is Arlong Park so low?
- I genuinely hated Arlong Park. I just didn't find it that compelling and I think all the arcs above it were far more interesting. People say Arlong Park is good because of the emotion but I really didn't find it that emotionally heavy.

Why is Return to Sabaody so high?
- I was so happy when I saw the entire crew come back powered up, and looking at them flex on the pacifistas was amazing. Also, Fake Luffy was lwk funny asl.

Why is Wano higher than Enies Lobby?
- Wano is by far my favorite arc in the series. Even though it was by far the longest arc, I found Oda managed to keep most moments engaging. I love the Japanese themes he included and the fights were great. Seeing Luffy finally become a Yonko felt really satisfying. Moreover, Wano had by far the most interesting introduction to any One Piece arc (even better than some arcs that built upon others i.e., Enies Lobby building on Water 7 and Marineford building on Impel Down).

Why is Skypeia so low?
- Imo, Skypeia was a hot pile of shit. It was WAYYYYY too long and a good 80% of the arc was really REALLY boring. While the Luffy vs Enel fight was nice, it took SOOOO long to get there and luffy's wincon was a copout imo. I waited so long for a conclusion that didn't even feel satisfying.

Yet again, feel free to give me your opinions in the comments.

What it is:

The app is a replacement for the generic and boring MacOS Dock, and the creator u/empty23_ has put a lot of effort into making it perfect, if not extremely close. It's an app that sits on the edge of your screen giving you quick access to all your apps, window previews, multimedia controls, a calendar, and a ton of customization options. Think of it as the Dock, but actually good.

My experience with Sidebar:

All I can say is that my time using this app had been absolutely wonderful. Firstly, I woudl like to mention that I love customization. One of the biggest let-downs of switching from Windows to MacOS was that I didn't have the power to mod basically everything at my fingertips. Every time I had to open an app, or just look at my dock in general, I remembered how I had completely customized my Windows experience, and how I would never have that on Mac. At least, that's what I used to think till I found Sidebar. My current Dock looks beautiful, and with Sidebar's endless versatility and customization options, you can create a Dock that's truly yours. Now, every time I look at my Dock, I smile. A few of my key highlights are the app preview windows as well as how facile it is to change the icons of your apps. Furthermore, you can control multimedia directly from your Dock. The last feature I would like to mention is the fact that you can look into folders using Sidebar. The app overall has streamlined my MacOS experience beyond belief, and I've only discovered about 20% of it. There's so many little benefits that Sidebar provides, most of which one can only appreciate after experiencing them.

Would I recommend the app?

If the paragraph above didn't make it clear, absolutely. I barely takes up any battery (I am on a new Macbook Pro, so this may not apply for all), barely takes up any storage space, and just makes your MacOS experience infinitely better. I can't stress enough how much you should use it. You will 100% thank me later.

Note: The app offers a 7-day free trial, but afterwards is paid. However, unlike most apps, the fee is quite small and all future updates are included for free. Also, the owner/creator, Oliver, is a really nice guy and also extremely helpful.

You can get the app at: www.sidebarapp.net

My laptop suffered some water damage today. I shut it down after the damage to drain the laptop of all water, but it kept turning on for some reason. Eventually, I managed to clean out the water (mostly) and the laptop seemed to work fine. After like 10 mins, the keyboard stopped working. I couldnt open my laptop or anything because I couldnt type my password. Everything else worked though. I then closed the lid and left it to the side, hoping to take it to a repair shop tomorrow. However, I just turned my laptop on to check on it, and now its completely dead. No apple logo upon boot up, and no light on the charger. Someone please help. Something like this happened right after the water damage, but I put it in a tent position and let it be. Eventually, when I tried to turn it on after about 10 mins, it turned on. Its been over 30 mins now and it hasn't turned on. I still plan to go to the shop tomorrow, but it there anything I can do in the mean time?
