The return of Grayson Waller, and the Debut of Zilla Fatu & Cruz Montana is exactly what what the NXT men’s division needed.

A little over a month ago I posted about how there’s no hype around the NXT men’s division. And ever since then all three of these guys have showed up in NXT and have completely changed the landscape. after losing all of their best guys earlier this year and late last year, they struggled for months but now it seems like they are finally getting their strength back. Only time will tell though.

When people ask you to demonstrate your profession.

Title might be a bit confusing but really mainly applies to people who may be an artist, are good at singing, rapping, or maybe you might be an aspiring comedian or something like that. And you just casually bring it up to a group in conversation and then somebody says “tell us a joke” or “sing something for us.” it’s not a super big deal, but it is in someway is annoying. I don’t know if I’m making sense but

What Grayson Wilder said about the NXT men’s division might’ve been harsh, but it was truth.

What Grayson Waller said about the NXT men’s division might’ve been harsh, but it was needed. Even though it was disguised as a promo, it was still the truth. While I wouldn’t use the same terminology that Grayson used, I can see what he’s saying. The women outshine the men in every way on NXT. They main event more, they get more reactions, and their matches in general are better. That’s my opinion, but the men legitimately struggle to get hype from the crowd. Myles Borne is cool but the crowd is iffy during his entrance and matches. I feel like they need a heel North American champion. The newer guys that they have brought in with the exception of maybe Shiloh Hill and Jackson Drake have just not hit the mark. Maybe it’s too early to tell. But someone like Keanu Carver looks intimidating, but his wrestling needs a lot of work and he needs a strong finisher. And it’s not really completely a reflection on Shawn necessarily I think rather the people that are bringing these guys in or the training system. What may NXT black and gold special (besides the fact that they were bringing already established guys who had been wrestling for a decade + on a developmental show) was the fact that the majority of their matches felt like a legit battle. You look at the matches today and they just look too basic.

Grayson Waller is the prime example of when in the right environment, he can shine.

He did more in this promo than he has done in his entire main roster run. But yet people kept saying that he was boring, and nobody cares about him. Well of course, when you do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING with him.

It really is simple, if you don’t like it, don’t watch it.

I feel like complaining doesn’t do much. And this is coming from somebody who hasn’t seen a full live episode of SmackDown or raw in well over a year. I only keep up with the product via social media. But overall, I really only watch NXT. The main roster shows have lost spark and they just haven’t been the same as they were around 2 1/2–3 years back. Just not entertaining. Like I wouldn’t have even known how bad the Danhausen - Joe Hendry segment was because I didn’t see it live. Just don’t watch. If you feel like you can still enjoy of course by all means continue watching. I’m just saying for the people that complain every week. It does no good.

I think at some point it’s time to accept that WWE will probably never let Finn Balor become world champion again.

Now could I be wrong? Of course. As much as fans continue to really want him to win it, and it seems like we get really close, but it never comes to fruition. It has nothing to do with how talented he is as a wrestler. But rather just looking at how WWE handles things now, it doesn’t look like he would be the one to carry the title. He’s had several opportunities since he got injured almost a decade ago but he has never been able to get out of that shell. If he does win, I wouldn’t be surprised if they pulled another Sami Zayn. He’s still very athletic and skilled for his age but I just don’t know.

What is your overall opinion on Jim Cornette?

I regularly listen to his YouTube channel. The overall impression that I have him is that his knowledge about wrestling is far beyond the average wrestling fan. He can describe the sequence of events and matches from years to even decades ago perfectly. One of the greatest wrestling personalities for his time. Was responsible for helping develop some of the legends that we see today. Can’t take any of that away from him. That being said, in my opinion, he is stuck in his own way. He still thinks that wrestlers today should look like, walk like, talk like, dress like they did 40 years ago. He makes valid points about some things, but in other cases it’s just… clearly he can’t move on

Aside from how they look, there’s not really a comparison between Oba Femi & Keanu Carver

Oba is larger in size and his in ring skill is more polished. He gives off a natural aura and easily gets the crowd behind him. Keanu comes off as more of a an aggressive crashout. He looks to be more agile than oba but his move set needs more work and he needs a better finisher. I think he can improve.

Bro END THIS WARGAMES stuff

It’s overplayed, predictable, and it’s just not what it was in 2022 and 2023. The table spots, the chair, shots, the kendo sticks, the garbage cans. It’s all drawn out.

I feel like WWE isn’t confident that anybody outside of Cody, Roman, or Punk can carry WWE

I saw a post about this a couple of days ago, where someone had asked if WWE was too reliant on them. This is probably why Sami wasn’t champion for even half a month because they only trust three individuals to constantly carry the company. While logic says that it is wise to give the titles to the people you know will draw the most money, in the long run, I don’t know how it will hold up. Roman is 41, punk will be 48 this year. I feel like in my opinion either Oba or Bron needs to be champion before the year is over, but I don’t know how likely that is to happen

There is little to no hype around NXT’s men’s division

As someone who watches NXT more than any other show, one thing I noticed is that the women’s division is fine. But the men’s division on the other hand is struggling. I’ve also noticed that recently the women have main evented NXT much more often than the men do. Nothing wrong with that at all, it just it shows the obvious that the women are the strong point of NXT. And I saw this coming after they called up Oba, Je’von, Trick, Ethan, Ricky, & Joe Hendry. I feel like Tony D’Angelo is doing the best he can as champion, but the majority of the guys that come out, do not get a reaction from the crowd. A lot of the wrestlers are basic and have generic move set. And some people just need more development. The people they need to be pushing like Josh Briggs hasn’t been seen in a long time. And then you have somebody with potential like Lexis King who’s stuck as speed champion when he should be in the main event with his faction. And then they rarely book matches that could actually get the crowd engaged. For example they brought up the idea of EK prosper vs Vikingo which definitely would’ve been a five star match in my opinion but ended up changing it to prosper versus Keanu again and I felt as though that was a bit pointless. I feel like they need to hire someone with more hype like Zilla Fatu that can get eyes on the product. It’s not a matter of “they just aren’t what they used to be” I feel like it’s just more so they are taking a longer time to get back in shape. EDIT: I just found out that Vikingo was injured, which is why the match never went through. My mistake

Not really necessarily a confession, but I’m hoping this doesn’t make me weird.

Basically, I was at the movies, and I decided to go to the restroom afterwards. At the movie theater, the men’s restroom and the women’s restroom are right next to each other and they have the signs for which bathroom is which obviously. The bathroom I walked in, I legitimately thought I was walking into the men’s restroom. I am a male. I was walking into the bathroom and obviously the first thing I was looking for was the urinals, I couldn’t find them anywhere and I just kept walking inside the bathroom to find them, but I never could. It was just straight toilets. And then I hear this woman walk in and and then I see them around the corner and she’s with her daughter. So out of the awkwardness because I was still kind of confused, I asked her something along the lines of which bathroom it was and she said “I think it’s the women’s” but then I apologize to her, and then it was another woman behind her that walked in and I apologize to her as well I think. And so then I went into the men’s bathroom which again was right across, saw the urinals in there but ironically, they weren’t even accessible because they had the yellow tape across so I use the stall. And then it was a guy in there as well that I just brought the whole situation up to him because I figured he was with one of the women that just walked into the bathroom and I apologize to him and just told him I legitimately thought the other bathroom was the men’s bathroom. And then I walked out, and they were behind me, and I held the door for them and I apologize to them one last time. I believe the woman just smiled and the guy just said “you’re all good man.” I feel like you can imagine anybody would feel embarrassed about that interaction, but then add that on top of being someone with OCD it just makes your mind spiral. Like I legitimately did not go in there with bad intentions I just had to use the bathroom and I’m just hoping none of them think I was being creepy. Any advice will be helpful.
