Need Feedback on Rework Idea

Dual Pistol (Primary attack):
-Automatically lock on to the nearest enemy. When faced with two or more enemies, pressing L-click will automatically fire at double speed upon two enemies when it is possible for her to do so. Can't crit.
-Widow can freely swap between her 2 weapons at any time. When holstered, the pistols will automatically be reloaded.

Batons (Alternate attack):
-Widow can freely swap between her 2 weapons at any time.

Wall Cling (Passive):
-Hold SPACE near walls to hang on it with baton's beak.
-Widow can only use this passive ability while the Batons are equipped.

Wall Jump (Passive):
-When Widow connects with the wall, quickly press the SPACE and Widow will jump back off the wall.

Widow's Bite (Ability 1):
-Shoots taser disk from bracelets that delivers powerful electrical shocks to temporarily incapacitate the target plus a little damage. Can crit because projectile small and hard to hit.

Fleet Foot (Ability 2):
-Press SHIFT and dash forward.

Remote Claw (Ability 3):
-When there's an auto locked target, activating this would allow Widow to select a target nearby, pulling and knocking them against each other.
-Widow can only use this ability while the Pistols are equipped.

Widow's Line (Ability 3):
-Fire a grappling line that reels Widow and target together.
-Widow can only use this ability while the Batons are equipped.

Concentrated Fire (Ultimate):
-Pistols combine into a powerful sniper rifle.
-Has sound and lasers when in use.
-The damage scales up from 50% to 100% after one second of being scoped.
-Does bonus damage to enemies with less than 50% health remaining.
-Ult kills grants bonus weapon damage.

Power Surge (Ultimate):
-Batons combine into an energized pole hammer for swiping multiple targets.

Suggested Combo:
-Harass foes from short to mid-range with dual wield pistol.
-Grab another target to an out of position target with remote claw to increase offensive pressure.
-Finish off grounded or airborne target with Widow's Line.

Inspired by MR Deadpool, MR Daredevil, MCU, Marvel's Avenger, Batman Arkham, Tomb Raider Underworld. I just threw everything I know about Widow to see what comes of it, and yeah, she doesn't occupy a distinct "ecological niche" or game loop with depth and potential but it's a work in progress. I can see a healer version in this.

The Exact Opposite of Their Fursona

I don't know where I'm going with this, just thought it's interesting.

Thoughts on Blacklist

Pros:

  1. Playing as Briggs, it's in fp camera and the gadgets are weaker version Sam uses. The design makes the player feel more unease which is how Briggs feels. Even the cinematography when Briggs is disarming the last bomb makes player think he'll be spotted.
  2. It has really dark lighting, I can't think of another game of the same generation that did this.
  3. Cool locations, I swear Kojima must've played this, that Guantanamo coastline look similar to one LZ in Ground Zero.
  4. >!Have Charlie get cut off at the beginning, going radio silent therefore the reveal it's Briggs shocks both Sadiq and the player, smart.!<
  5. Have the camera changed to tp also shows Briggs growth.

Cons:

  1. I don't like the "light up" mechanic to indicate in shadow works, it looks ridicules during cutscenes, only his backside should light up.
  2. It's a thing since the first game and I still don't like it, guard completely ignores Sam moving in shadow.
  3. Exploration +100
  4. Handcuff Karambit
  5. Karambit

Disguises Should be More Common

There're 2 kinds of disguise, invented identities and impersonated real people, the latter is rarer historically (though has changed recently), so we'll focus on the conditions of invent identities.

  1. Player character identity isn't compromised/wanted.
  2. When being visible doesn’t compromise broader strategic goals, it’s fine. But if the player can’t be seen at all, then using a disguise isn’t an option.
  3. When player character appearance is common in that environment. Skin colors are shown through eye holes and fully covered wear is rare historically and inherently suspicious.
  4. When player character has a firm grasp of the cultural of that environment, this includes social behavior and dress code.
  5. When player character speak the same language.

There might be more, but these are the basics I can think of. If your player character meets these conditions, they should be able to disguise themselves. If it's not parted the dev's goal, then dev needs to change the game setting so using a disguise isn’t an option.

Game that I can think of that would be easier with a disguise:

  1. Lizard State
  2. MGS1
  3. Assassin’s Creed Shadows Naoe
  4. Mark of the Ninja

Most game with stealth element limit disguises to certain mission when it shouldn't be the case.

Ideas how to beat Loki.

  1. Heroes who do percentage damage (Loki is 3500hp): Elsa Monster-Piercer 15 + 0.8% of max health per pellet (5), also BLASTER reveals invisible enemy. Wonda's Chaos Control, reveals invisible enemy, and her ult deals 9999 dmg.
  2. Iron Fist or Wolverine, depends if there's cliff on map. Wolve can ult after Loki ult, gnarly.
  3. Magneto can shield Wonda when she uls.
  4. Dr. strange, shield so Loki can't mind control.
  5. Adam has burst healing and rez.
  6. Luna Snow or RR, rez beacon, damage boost ult, and booster helps Logan.

Idk if Gambit can cleanse mind control but that would be nice, he also has burst heal.

When Loki dies, team need to push forward and make Loki fight his way to the point.

TL;DR Wonda or Elsa. Iron Fist or Logan. Magneto and Strange. Adam. Luna or RR.

Front throw works, even shows in input display, but not for back throw, and had to set it as macro. What's the input window for back throw? is there a way to check?
