We tried a 3 player game with junk, Blackwing a and rose dragons. Slightly upgraded from the box with some proxies
The jank player took a lot of time with his combos. Blackwing didn't know some of his cards and I want to think I took up the least amount of time.
I love Yu-Gi-Oh but I don't think we should ever play 3 player again.
Especially when you proxy everything.
Most of my decks use secret lairs arts and i love seeing them in action. Some of my favourites include :
The arcade machine artstyle.
The old school frame for the signets.
The simple art lands.
If you play magic as intended (proxying) I see nothing bad about them.
I have a list of tcgs I collect. Mainly decks with Digimon being the only one I have exclusively a binder for but no decks :

I have some leftover sleeves enough for around 3 decks. Which tcg would you suggest ? I am mainly looking for something simple I can teach to a friend easily and sit down to enjoy a game with.

Me and my friends have started playing Yu-Gi-Oh the last few months. We decided that from now on we will be allowing full proxy decks. So far I have a rose dragon and a lightsworn deck. I would like to have some more decks to have verity.
I don't know what's a good number to aim for. I thought about a deck building challenge where I get one deck for each extra deck summoning mechanic (not exclusively but primarily for that summoning mechanic)
Maybe just one more deck with an interesting archetype, another idea is to get 5 decks each around a certain element (I already have light and nature) or maybe pick a deck building set (probably the latest) and build decks from all three archetypes.
How do you decide which decks to play/build ? How many decks would you say it's a good number for someone to play ?

Me and some friends are getting Into the game. I personally have the rose dragon deck from the 5D decks, the lightsworn precon and I am getting some singles for a GMX deck.
We agreed that each deck will use 5 proxies per deck since we want to stay within a budget as we upgrade
I hope that we can find more people in our island to play eventually (just 3 of us rn) and I was wondering what's the general opinion regarding proxies and if you had any personal experiences with them used in casual settings ?
Hey y'all, me and my friends just opened the 5d decks, after a quick game of just the first turn because they had to leave and we took too long reading the cards, they seem quite fun.
However I would like to know if there is a guide somewhere that can help us learn the combo lines of the decks my friend who got the junk deck has some upgrades ready so I am good on that deck. However me with rose dragons and my friend with black wings need some help.
I personally think I will buy just a couple more cards to upgrade it but my friend with the black wings might keep it as it is or with a few changes due to a slim budget and us allowing only 5 proxies per deck so I would really appreciate help on learning the lines

Hey, I am new to the game.
I will be exclusively playing with friends since I don't have an lgc on my island. And I was wondering how many decks I will end up with.
Currently I have 2.5. a lightsworn stracture deck I want to upgrade. A black rose dragon from the 5d collection that's on its way and a proxied goat deck that I will likely not use often.
I wanted to ask how many decks do you have and what number do you think is the ideal one?
