Finally found something they can’t destroy figured I’d share!
We’ve tried chuck it balls and all sorts of dog “non destructive” toys that my surgeon easily dissects within minutes… we finally found something that actually lasts and isn’t super expensive. Figured I’d share with those if you who might also own surgeons as dogs… 😂🐾 thanks Amazon

Best pressure relief for pain side sleeper?
I’ve been suffering from back/neck/hip pain from an injury for a long time now to begin with. I remember years ago prior to the accident my friend had a temper pedic that I slept on and it truly felt amazing. Fast forward years later I’ve tried Purple, Sealy, and quite a few others as I just couldn’t afford a more expensive mattress. I had a temper pedic topper at one point on my purple mattress which seemed to work for a bit but alas years later my purple sagged and they would not honor my warranty without basically giving them my first born so now I’m stuck with two different mattresses, a temperpedic topper, and I loathe all of them. I wake up everyday in horrible pain with pressure points.
I’ve been recently considering biting the bullet and getting an actual temperpedic for some time now. I looked at reviews online including ones for Plank.
I’m at a loss. I NEED something very firm that aligns my spine but also doesn’t feel like I’m sleeping on a brick.
Does anyone have an honest review of what might be best?
I’m 130lbs and for someone with horrible injuries I’m at the point I’m about to sleep on the floor. My air mattress felt more comfortable at one point than these high end mattresses.
Is it just me or did the mattress industry change all of their products over the years or am I missing something? I feel like every time I try something new it’s never relieving compared how I slept over ten years ago on my friends temperpedic.
What are your go to options and what would you recommend for me? I sleep on my back and side. I need something that does NOT sag and does NOT create a ton of heat as I’m a hot sleeper as well in Texas-and I heard sometimes the foam mattresses in general get too soft in the heat and feel like a brick in the winter time.
Does the base matter? Does the material matter? Coils I’m assuming are a no go.
I’d love to hear from even chiropractors or surgeons or doctors what their recommendations are too.
If I have to buy a more expensive product for better sleep I will but I’m not willing to do that if I’m going to be unhappy after their “trial” period and be stuck with it.
I feel like the princess and the pea at times and can legit feel every nook and cranny of every mattress indent, rolled sheet under me, and on top of just not sleeping well at all right now I’m lost.
Help…?

PUPDATE: Gaia had a successful meet and greet today and they want to adopt her!! An amazing couple with aces of land for her to run and play, familiar with her breed, and they’re retired and can give her all the love and attention she deserves!
I knew it was the right fit when we went to leave and she ran off back towards them to say she doesn’t want to go Lol. It’s bittersweet for me and I’m legit tearing up happy tears for her right now. They don’t live super far and even told me I can pet sit her when they need someone and will keep in touch. I’m over the moon for her!! 😭💜🐾

There are sooooo many good dogs here just like Gaia-especially in Texas who are being put down for space. It’s overwhelming here how many need homes! Back in May I saved this girl from the euth list and she was completely defeated, covered in poop and pee, skinny, and her heart was just broken. Fast forward to now she is healthy, happy, and ready for her furever home!
Gaia is approximately 2 years old, spayed, chipped, uptd on shots, fully vetted. She is social and plays well with my two male dogs, does well with most dogs she meets (intros are a little awkward at first but she is submissive by nature). She is good with kids, all humans she meets, I haven’t cat tested her yet however she tried to make friends with a bunny at one point so with some redirecting and training I feel she would be fine.
She is kennel/crate trained, potty trained, walks well on leash with her training collar, loves to snuggle and give kisses, she’s goofy and silly very puppyish by nature, loves riding in the car, well behaved in public, she honestly would be a great service dog candidate as well!
She is treat motivated, enjoys playing with toys like the ball and chewing her bones, medium drive, her only bad habit is her internal alarm clock wakes me up at 7:15 am every day to go out and go potty but I’ll take that over potty in the house lol.
She would do well in a home with another dog to play with, she’s environmentally sound, fireworks and storms she’s not bothered by either, and she enjoys cooling off in her baby pool in my yard.
Zero aggression but also not a push over with other dogs over toys and will stick up for herself but genuinely doesn’t want a fight, I can handle her and touch her all over, pick her up, she takes treats nicely, and is in general a very good girl! If you have room in your home for this beautiful girl please let me know!
We are located in central Texas but I am willing to meet and travel to you with her to make sure it’s a good fit. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask! Please share her with your friends/family to help her find the perfect home!
She would do best in an active family home with another dog to play with. German shepherd savvy people preferred with experience. Fenced in yard is a must.
She is still working on obedience training and would need continued training with her new family as well. Someone willing to commit to her.
I am also willing to offer free sessions as well to her new family to help acclimate her and help her and you succeed if you’re local to me. 🙏🏻💜🐾

TX-Tenant Rights
Hello, I’m trying to find out my legal rights concerning move out condition of the home and failure to fix issues on the landlords part. My lease started on June 11 of 2025 and was supposed to end June 11 of 2026.
In my original lease agreement it states that if I am to stay past that date, I will automatically be put on a month-to-month rate.
During my time here in the last year, I have not only dealt with rodents, different sorts of pests, flooding in my backyard, and more recently water pouring in from the vent in my bathroom.
Not only has the Landlord refused to fix all of these things without a fight with them constantly and or efficiently to the point that they are continuing, but now I am running into an issue that they will not honor the month-to-month and are trying to force me to sign a one year lease instead. This was also not a 30 day notice given to me prior to them telling me this.
I am at the point where I am getting ready to sign a new lease with a totally different place and I want to know what type of rights I have as far as the condition of the home, what they are going to try and charge me for in order to get my security deposit back, and how it works when it’s within the same month that I paid for if I leave before July.
My goal is to leave here with my security deposit and not be responsible for any type of issues or maintenance that they refuse to acknowledge and or fixed to satisfaction before I leave as at this point, I feel it’s inhabitable conditions and has been going on for way too long. They also did not give me formal notice about the termination of a month-to-month after already offering it to me at one point in my original lease. So as far as I’m concerned, they violated their own lease agreement.
I want to make sure I’m within my rights to vacate the property immediately without being responsible for any type of payments or things of that nature if you could please be so kind to help me figure this out I would appreciate it thank you.

Are there any attorneys out there??

Hello I have been endlessly searching for the right attorney to handle my civil matter. I’ve tried the Texas bar and got nowhere, all of the “legal aid” services I have called either put me on hold for hours on end and then never answer or they won’t help due to my case being so niche I suppose.
My case involves civil litigation against a moving company. I have documented evidence, pictures, videos, emails, ect of all communications with this company as well. I had to get TX DOT involved at one point due to my belongings becoming a hostage load. When my items were delivered there were over 10K+ damages and or loss of items.
They violated their contract multiple times, arbitration is non existent due to the process being overly complicated and I’m unable to even attempt to arbitrate and considering they violated multiple laws with regard to fraud, deception, forging my signature on documents I never even saw, and the grief I received from this entire situation and loss of money and property to add insult to injury they damaged my service dogs ashes… they have zero regrets zero remorse and even tried to threaten me for posting a factual bad review on their page.
There is literally a Facebook group with thousands of others who have been scammed essentially by this company too. I would love for it to become a class action lawsuit as well if possible.
There are also federal charges against this company pending from the state due to non compliance and regulations that were violated. I may have to go to court as a witness for this as well.
Are there any attorneys out there who can help? I feel like I’m running in circles and I’m mentally exhausted from this entire process and making zero traction.

Gaia went to the store with me today to try and shop for a new home.. unfortunately we didn’t find one BUT we did get some new toys and got to socialize and be pet by some nice people.
She walks well on the leash and was very interested in other dogs she saw. She’s genuinely a sweet girl. She rode well in my car too!

Is there a way to test for pedigree on a KNPV dog?
Long story short I got a dog a couple of years ago from a breeder. He claimed he has good lines and sent me this paperwork. I looked up the BRN numbers and he is listed however how do I transfer his information to myself and or make sure he is the dog the breeder says he is? The reason I ask is bc it didn’t end well with the breeder and I don’t want to talk to them if I don’t have to. My dog was visibly under weight at the time, had straight lash marks on him as if he’d been whipped with something and was scared to death of everything. It’s taken me over a year to get him healthy and over whatever the heck he went though and he’s now thriving. I’m considering getting him titled but wasn’t sure how this all works. If anyone can help a noob out it would be appreciated thank you. 🙏🏻

Foster Looking for a Furever Home
Recently I adopted this girl off the euthanasia list to save her life. I literally cried when I met her she was so defeated, covered in poop and pee, had bite marks on her, and super skinny. She nuzzled her face into my lap as if to say-please save my life.
I’m still working on getting her healthy and working on some basic training with her.
She ultimately will need a furever home though and I wanted to put some feelers out for anyone who may be interested in her.
She’s about 2 yrs old, spayed, vaccinated, has the sweetest personality and is just a gentle yet goofy puppy in spirit.
She gets along with dogs, kids, I haven’t tested her with cats yet. I haven’t seen any outright Aggresive behavior at all from her.
I can pick her up, touch her all over, she’s just wiggly, I can touch her food and she takes treats gently, she’s playful with my two male dogs, and she deserves someone who will show her the life she deserves.
I would keep her myself but to be honest it’s a lot for me financially with let alone two dogs but three now. I am doing my best and I just genuinely didn’t want her to die and wanted to help her.

When you bark all night and carry on in the crate to the point you wake dog mom up at 5am and pretend you have a hurt paw only to get exactly what you want which is no longer a crate… guess I have an x pen in my kitchen now… 🙄😂

Found Dog
(RESOLVED)
Is this someone’s baby girl? I found her in the middle of the street near Fellowship Church and the circle near Morningside development in new Braunfels. She’s safe in my car with me. I’m going to bring her to my house for now and get her some water. She does not have a tag other than some type of AirTag and no ID if anyone knows whose dog this is please let me know. I will keep her safe until the end of the day . Worst case I’ll have to call the Animal Control and have them come get her and I really don’t wanna do that
