A show having a Monster-of-the-Week format doesn’t automatically make it bad, whether the show was meant to be serialized or not.

But serial or not, what are your opinions on what makes a good Monster-of-the-Week show?

For me, the characters need to be fun and interesting like in Supernatural and the episode itself should have an interesting episodic story with the monster like in X-Files and Smallville.

One thing I didn’t like from either anime was how very little interactions the two had. They barely exchanged more than one sentence with each other.

One thing I would like to see in a new anime is the two having a little friendship with each other. I don’t mean anything romantic, but I mean them interacting whenever they’re with Ikki and Arika while they’re hanging out together. It also would be nice if we had more robattles with the two fighting alongside each other.

This one time me and my family were driving through a neighborhood to my sister’s house until suddenly we came across a large bird on the road eating what I think is roadkill. I could be misremembering the roadkill part because I don’t remember seeing any roadkill on the ground. We couldn’t make out what kind of bird it was because it was all shadowy, probably because it was under the shadow of a tree nearby but all we could see is its’ silhouette. When we drove up to it a little closer, it flew off on to another house and we never saw it again.

It‘s possible it could be any normal type of bird, like maybe the andean condor due to its‘ size, but it happened in the middle of neighborhood and I think it was close to sunset when we saw it.

Are there any toys where one of their functions is devouring smaller toys?

I never understood how Challenge of the GoBots is considered a bad show. I‘ve been watching it on Tubi and honestly I think it’s a great show.

I enjoy the characters as well as the storylines.

I feel like people are being too picky over the animation, but I do love the animation whenever each GoBot transforms, especially how toy accurate they are.

One fair point people made are the designs of the GoBots on the cartoon, especially with how the faces are the only thing not toy accurate about them. But honestly, I can see some positives about their toy accurate designs. It makes the GoBots looks more robotic as well as more alien-looking. It also helps make them look more three-dimensional in the cartoon.

I don’t know, I watched it with an open mind and I honestly found myself loving it.

It’s been years since me and my family had cable. All we have now is ordinary television and we mainly stream.

However, I‘m getting tired of looking through each of the streaming apps only to find nothing good and ultimately having no choice but to rewatch a show that I already finished.

At least with cable, I can just watch whatever is on without agonizing what I want to watch, what I don’t want to watch, what I already watched, etc.

However, whenever I look online at some of the cable channels such as Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon, I find out they always air the same shows endless with little to no variety. Nickelodeon shows almost nothing but SpongeBob all the time!

I found that the Disney Channel is the only one that has more variety with their schedule.

I remember this one illustrated kids book from summer school where a mother leaves her kids at home(there’s a few of them) while she goes to buy them their favorite foods and a witch comes up to them.

When the kids let her in, she transfers their souls into food and brings them to her place to eat.

The mother finds out and comes up to the witch’s house. The witch refuses to let the mother in so she takes off her shoes, then her socks, and finally cuts off her feet to get in.

The witch then shows her the food containing her children’s souls but then the mother gives them their favorite foods that she bought and the kids are back to normal.

The witch runs away but ends up drowning in a stream.

Anyone know the title to this story?
