Night time ritual
Every time I go to put Moonpie to bed he takes the opportunity to get mad at one of his toys lol. I have no idea why he does this at bedtime.

Hello,
This past October, we adopted a rescue dog — a 9-pound Pomeranian mix estimated to be between one and one and a half years old. As expected with a rescue, she wasn’t housebroken. She came pee-pad trained, but would only pee on the pad, never poop on it. Since my husband didn’t want pee pads in the house long-term, we removed them and started training her to go outside.
She’s doing well with peeing outside as long as I take her out regularly — but if I miss a window, she’ll pee in the house.
Figuring out when she needs to poop has been the real challenge. She doesn’t go within 15–30 minutes of eating, or even within an hour. I’ve been tracking her eating and pooping schedule, and so far it’s been completely irregular.
We tried crating her in the mornings until she pooped, and again in the evenings, but she just holds it or has an accident in the crate (it’s properly sized — I researched that carefully, and I’ve house-trained dogs before, so I know what I’m doing there).
At this point, I’m just tracking her eating and pooping to look for a pattern, but beyond that, I’m not sure what else to try.
I feel like my tank is missing something on the right front. Even the back. (I’ve had bad luck with plants I’ve put in the back for some reason)
I also want a ground cover but don’t have C02. I hate the tiny colored rocks. I didn’t clean it out well enough when I got it. :/
This is a beta fish tank with Amano shrimp.
I heard these two in my front yard this evening. I’m guessing barred owls?
My husband and I have lived on our property since 2011. We have had yellowjacket problems since we moved in. Several years ago we had to have part of our yard excavated and they found a huge ground nest. We haven’t seen Yellowjackets again until this year
They are making nests in the ground near my children’s playset.
We are wondering: is this something all home owners deal with or are we just lucky? It’s getting annoying to have to spend hundreds on exterminators every year.
We are debating trying to do it ourselves this year, but it’s a little daunting since there’s a ton of holes near the playset.
I have the rev air and just started using it on my girls to dry their hair before I braid it. My dilemma is their hair isn’t as slick as I want it to be. I moisturize it well before I dry it, but it doesn’t feel moisturized after I’m done blow drying their hair.
Maybe I’m just expecting too much?
Do you braid your hair wet or dry? If you braid it dry what kind of products do you use after you dry it?
Picture is of my oldest right after I got done braiding her hair. I’m not the best at parting. (I’m still working on getting better.)
Hello,
We adopted Nyxie 9 months ago. She’s a Pomeranian/Shih Tzu mix (with some Chihuahua, German Shepherd, and cocker spaniel mixed in) and was about 1-1.5 years old at adoption.
She came pee pad trained, but we’ve since removed the pads since we want her going outside. Peeing outside isn’t an issue — she rarely has accidents. But she will not poop outside. Ever.
What I’ve tried:
**•** Bells and buttons — she’s scared of them
**•** Crate training — she’s crate trained and comfortable in it, but it hasn’t helped with this
**•** Watching her cues — she only runs to the door if I stand up; otherwise she just finds a spot inside
Current approach: switching from free-feeding to two set meals a day (20 min, then remove the bowl), then taking her out 15-30 minutes after eating to try to catch the poop window.
If this doesn’t work, I’m out of ideas. My husband is patient but this is really wearing on him. Giving her up isn’t on the table — we’re just hoping someone has advice or can relate. I’ve read small breeds can be trickier to potty train — anyone dealt with this?
This is my friend Charlie. I’ve known her for several years now. (I’ve lost count). She used to have a tail but got it injured somehow and half fell off.
I haven’t seen her in quite some time. Her house used to be in my yard right next to one of our trees, but I got dug up and I feared the worst. I was relieved when I saw her outside my window today. She always comes when I call her..
I’m pretty sure she’s a girl. That’s why I lifted my hand during the video. I wasn’t sure the gender until now. Let me know if you think I’m wrong.
Do you use a hair steamer and if so, do you recommend it? If so, do you have one you recommend?
It’s not often I get a good picture of his crest.
My local shelter just suffered a fire a few weeks ago. Luckily their building is find but they lost a lot of their supplies. All animals had to be removed and put in foster homes and are just now being trickled back into the shelter.
They are fundraising for next 24 hours. Please consider helping me fund raise for them. Anything helps.
I recently bought a used canon 5D mark ii and a canon 100-400 ii.
My camera was working fine until I went to get pictures off of it by removing the CF card and putting it in my Mac. (Using a reader that connects to my USBC port.)
It read the card fine and I was able to remove all of my pictures.
Went to put my card back on my camera and says it can’t format it.
So I put it back in my Mac to format it and now the card can’t be read at all. Not even an error message.
So I return the reader and try two different ones and still my card isn’t recognized by my Mac and can’t be formatted on my camera
So I buy a brand new scan disc pro 64 gig CF card for $70. Same problem. But the reader works with Sd cards just fine.
I have this bad feeling there’s something wrong with my camera and now I’m out $250 and no camera to use my lens.
Any suggestions as to what the issue could be? I’m at my wits end.
Chipetta (if I’m correct and this is her) has been around for years. I’ve never attempted to friend her besides calling her when I put out seed.
My two chipmunk friends out front of my house that I hand feed haven’t been seen so far this year :(
