Himeko might actually bite the dust in 4.4 and meanwhile Blade walks scott free :)

Himeko might actually bite the dust in 4.4 and meanwhile Blade walks scott free :)

All this just to try and replicate Himeko's death in Hi3... It comes across as cheap. I might tap out with this game if they go through with it.

Griftubers: "Heh the Nintendo Fanboys will blindly defend this!"

Except a lot of Griftubers I've seen are Nintendo fans themselves half the time.

As a long time Pokemon fan who's in a lot of online and irl Pokemon circles, a lot of antis don't realize that Nintendo's biggest haters are Nintendo fans themselves. I've seen Digimon fans making up boogeymen scenarios like "Can't wait for Pokemon to sue Bamco once Time Stranger humiliates them!" Because yeah, Nintendo will go after one of their partner distributors in toys and merch.

A lot of angry sentiment I've seen are from actual Nintendo fans themselves either because a lack of update on a new Animal Crossing or no new Mario or whatever is going on with the state of Pokemon.

The impression I always get is that hating on Nintendo online is the "cool" thing now because of PR disasters like the Palworld lawsuit, increasing prices, their tendency to take down ROM Hacks or Fan games, etc. But people can't seem to accept nuance or that a person's attitude is just "yeah sure" at something - the latter of which I feel with Nintendo.

Normal people don't have enough energy to grift against or glorify the billion dollar company either and this is not me trying to be an indecisive fence sitter - I know where I stand. It's that life is stressful as is to be trying to push a specific agenda.

Just my few cents.

Tencent is in talks of dropping Marvelous. BANKRUPTCY could be imminent.

Worst case scenario: RF Guardians of Azuma and the Grand Bazaar remakes will be our final RF and Bokumono games.

"Best" case scenario: RF6 and the upcoming SoS mainline will be our last ones.

Marvelous owns far too many IPs that are selling very poorly and they stretched themselves thin trying to appeal to both old and new where they appealed to nobody in the end.

The era of 3D gacha games + cheaper indie farm sims are just too strong.

If they dont do some quick, we could see bankruptcy as an imminent possibility.

Oda pitching tragic backstories for female characters like

You know, I think Big Mom's flashback was the last solid backstory we had centered on a female character solely for the cannibalism twist at the end and how she was moreso a byproduct of a giant spoiled kid running loose with an enabler.

Note: Lloyd isn't a typo. It's based off a side comment Lechter made in Azure about how they could use more detective-minded folks like Lloyd on their side. Everything else applies to Ash.
