My take of why the end of s9e2 happened
The reason why is the same explanation as to why in the jerrick episode, Jerry was normal and killed himself on accident, while rick immediately shot himself in the mouth. It's because rick is experienced with horrible emotional pain.
When he switched his mind with jerry's, he kept all of his memories, but lost all of the brain patterns that kept the horrors he's seen in check. all that experience went away, and his lifelong soul crushing trauma overwhelmed him all at once.
The exact reverse happened to ted rick. He got all his memories and brain patterns back. He simply realized that everything Ted experienced is just one more turd on the shit pile. Not that it made him feel better of course.
That's why before Ted pushed the button, he was unstable, drunk and desperate. But when he became rick, he was just regular sad.
This does not also increase the damage of your water elementals.
You can only store up to 5 icicles, and they gradually appear around your hero portrait.
If you freeze multiple enemies at once, the icicles target them at random.
If the enemy dies before all your icicles get launched, you save those leftover.
oh man, i sure hope i don't get any of those useless compass ships again...
Am i good to go or not ?
I saw that despite being quite wealthy, my progress bar seemed to indicate i was missing something. I actually had to deal damage, and quite a lot of it. After many action sequences and brushes with death, and downing my first turbine, and running halfway across the map to find someone with a defib which ended with nobody dying (hurray pve lobbies) i got to that threshold.
So while dealing damage is definitely ticked, and i'm getting 5 skill points, i'm uncertain about the yellow part of this scale. There isn't a tick to indicate i'm done, it feels like i have to get 1.2m of something. There's no way this is about damage, right ? I've killed so many arcs to get to 100k damage, don't tell me i have to do this 12 times ? 😭
A pill that transforms alcohol into sugar ?
I've just read a novel where a chracter has a magic ring on his finger that does that. That way you basically drink juice with no one the wiser. But since alcohol is made from sugar, maybe there's a way to reverse that using science ? Like some compound that you discreetly drop in your drink like an asprin.
i paused at the right moment and thought of this sub
I played the game a bunch of times over the years, on the GBA. extremely legally of course. I loved the conversations and personality all the npcs had. The whole comedic, silly tone. Leveling up your skills and earning money to move up in the world and get a bigger home to have stuff in. Managing thirst, hunger, etc.
But when i think of "recent" sims entries, i think sims 4. Which i tried, but has a much bigger emphasis on simulating families and real life, the sims take care of themselves.
Has there been any entries more to the spirit of Urbz ? Or is there any other game franchise with similar gameplay ?
