i saw this in a facebook group i’m in and i thought it would fit here

i’m not sure what year, but the chip skylark album came out today.

this may not be as canon in nickelodeon lore as march 14 being the day that krabs fries, march 15 being denzel crocker day, and february 15 being annoy squidward day, but it’s something i remember.

i made the game boy tetris game, and it is displayed as shown on nintendo switch online. i gave it to alexey pajitnov (the creator of tetris who's on my island) and apprently he doesn't like it. (why do miis say they don't like it and then they still use it like it's their last lifeline?) but i made it down to the tiny details like the building silhouettes in the background of the title screen. the original image is on the last slide. i do realize some of the proportions of the text on the bottom near like the players and the copyright statement are off, but hey. making something small like this is tough. pixel art is not something i do often ♡

i made a post yesterday showing that i made steve from blue's clues, as well as his green-striped shirt, the house, the walls, and the floor. now here is a follow up. i made blue. also, here is a daytime screenshot of the house, as some people asked if they could use my design as inspiration.

if you want to make blue, i recommend that the bark is written out 'bao bao bao' on voice style 3.

i spent a bit of time to make a vital piece of my childhood on my island. i did my best to make steve from blue's clues, as well as the house (with as limited of 3d shapes i had), the wallpaper, the floor, and his signature green-striped shirt. i have yet to make the handy-dandy notebook as a treasure, as well as blue as a pet for him (blue is gonna be a nightmare to make...)

i just discovered bushwell plaza’s exterior was a real building in los angeles called eastern columbia building, or eastern columbia lofts. kinda like they did for hollywood arts filming in burbank high and replacing the name to ‘hollywood arts’ through editing, they removed ‘eastern’ from the building and edited ‘bushwell’ on it.

i was looking on facebook on my computer because i was using it for other stuff. i look on the sidebar and there's an ad for adobe firefly. i know it's someone with the toolbar for the software but with it being so small my bad eyes thought it looked like someone stretching their arm out holding a wii remote. 😭
