My sister has a squirrel who has become obsessed with this soccer ball. He’s officially been named Erling, after Erling Haaland, mostly because SquErling is a bit of a mouthful.

Sunflower Help

I live in a very, very deer heavy rural area (I’m reasonably confident they outnumber humans here), and I’m fortunate enough to have a second story deck that gets great sun. I typically grow vegetables (with varying degrees of success), petunias, lilies, and herbs out there, but this year I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with the two huge planters I have. I happened to see sunflower seeds, decided to toss them in and see what happened. I now have about 8-10 gorgeous, tall sunflowers blooming in each pot, and I haven’t the slightest clue what to do with them. Do I need to cut them? Dry to save the seeds? Sorry if these are ridiculous questions!

Trash Compactor Recommendations?

I know they’re not terribly popular anymore, but I have had one for nearly 20 years and it finally seems to have passed into the afterlife. This one was a Kenmore, and lasted a shockingly long time, despite heavy use daily. If anyone has any suggestions, I’d love to hear them!

Postcard Frames

Hi everyone! I can’t even begin to explain how much I adore so many of your posts, you all have the artistic eye that I never developed, but I’m trying here! I’ve collected a bunch of antique postcards featuring my town (beautiful little historic town) and I’d love to display them in frames on the wall going up my stairs.
I can’t seem to find the right frames for them as far as size or style. I definitely don’t want them all to match, ideally they’d be various colors, textures, etc. I’m also not looking to spend a fortune, does anyone have any ideas? Thank you!
