Which X99 board for me?

Hi I just bought a Xeon E5 2696 V3 2.3GHz and

Hynix 4x8GB DDR3 RAM PC3-14900R. What's the name of the X99 boards that can run them? I saw these tiny M-ATX boards with 4 RAM slots, would be perfect for a smaller build. If you guys know, please tell me.

MSI H 270I How to connect a usb-c to mobo?

I have a MSI H 270I Gaming PRO AC and want to connect a sound card directly to the mobo. It has a usb-c cable powering it. I thought this mobo had a usb type E connection, but now when I look closer I cant see it. Can I use any of the connections on the pictures? What is such an adapter called? It could either be to USB A or USB C, because I can use a short cable from the motherboard to the sound card that5 is either USB A to C or USB C to C. Would be greatful for help.

Ddr2 ddr3 ddr4 ddr5 doesnt matter

When my son was born 2 years ago I used to sit in the waiting room thinking ddr2, ddr3 ddr4 I guess just to pass the time waiting. I now upgraded to ddr3, ddr4 ddr5 and I now have a ddr3, ddr4 and a ddr5 pc next to each other. There is no difference. My friend who plays fast shooters I'm sure would disagree. But unless you play fast games, if your PC is properly tuned and updated, is there really a difference between these 3 and 4 and 5 versions of ram?

I want to use a mobile gpu in a PC

How does a mobile gpu get power? Is there any way to add a pci-e connection to it? There must be some broken laptops out there just waiting. A card like this would fit well in a sff build.

The gpu on the picture is a HP GPU Nvidia RTX A2000 4GB GDDR6 Graphics Card for Zbook. Are they all the same connection wise? Would ❤️ to play around a bit in the basement

Qwen 3 8 b can I make flip charts to text?

Hi I'm new to this but would love to help my friend out. He did a workshop with flip charts and now he wants it in text. I just got qwen 3 8b on a Huananzhi X99-QD4 + Xeon E5-2680 V4 + 32GB DDR4 and a rx 580 gpu. Can I use my new friend qwen in conjunction with another software or do you guys know how I can do this locally otherwise? I have 500 gb ssd for storage and the flip charts are around 30 of them. Grateful for help.
