I’m looking to get gum grafting, the triangle at the tooth is pretty much gone after an open flap cleaning. A dentist has recommended that me removing a wisdom tooth and once that area heals he can take the gum that was there and use it to cover the tooth area?
Is something like that doable? I’ve heard of gum grafting where it’s taken from the mouth pallet.

Traveling to China mid October to the end of October, have 14 full days. Fly in and out of HK
Planning on 3N 4D in HK, fly out to Chongqing from HK at 9pm on the 4th day. Then 4N and 3 full days in Chongqing. Then to Yangshou for 3N and 2.5D then to Shenzhen for 3N 3.5D with a day trip to Macau and possibly Guangzhou if we feel up to it.

Anyone have any opinions of what to change etc? Undecided on whether to finish in Shenzhen or HK.

Looking for opinions on Phu Quoc, will be arriving into HCMC on Jan 1st for two weeks. Planning to do 4 nights in HCMC and then stuck after that.
Thought about a week in Phu Quoc travelling around the beaches as it is mainly a winter getaway for us coming from Ireland.
Would it be worth doing 3/4 nights in Da Nang? Or is the weather not the best around that time of the year then?

Should I have my wisdom tooth removed on the upper right side? It’s slightly moveable when i apply a bit of force? It’s always been over erupted. Have a discomfort in my cheek area that side. But not sure if it’s from the implant.
I had a Megagen implant placed last June 2025 just the stud not the crown and about a week after I started to get a discomfort in my upper cheek, pressure as such. So Ive held off on the crown since. I’ve been going around in circles with dentists, one saying it was the tooth behind the implant and then when I went to another they said all looked fine on the OPG but I said again I really do feel something off in my cheek. They went and done an open flap surgery that has turned out not to be needed, confirmed by two other dentists and don’t know why he done the open flap as nothing even hinted to it on the OPG and I didn’t have anything visually. Another has said it seems like TMJ and the side of my head and top of it gets sore and have advised to get the upper right wisdom tooth removed? Should I do it? When I put my tongue to the implant I don’t know if it feels like it moves or it’s just the recovery cap feeling funny now. Any help or advise would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!
I got a Megagen AnyRidge implant placed June 2025, I started to get the facial discomfort around a week after. I’ve been to some dentists to review and they said the implant is fine. My 1.8 right side wisdom tooth was slightly loose around September 2025 and it does seem to be more loose now but I think it’s from me playing with it. I think around the implant area is swollen along with that side of the gum. Should I just remove the wisdom tooth? Could that have been the cause of facial discomfort this whole time? Do not spoke and social drinker every now and then. 32 Male.
