AIO to something my husband said

We had an open marriage for a while, and it went well. Due to unrelated emotional issues we closed for a little over a year since one of us was going through a really hard time and our relationship was in a bad spot due to that. We’re also in different life circumstances where while we were open before, we were both so busy we rarely acted on it. Plus now we have two cars

Anyways here’s the issue. I love going to the gym and staying fit and looking good for my husband. He’s put a little weight and has never been that strong, but i never really cared. But i noticed he was taking care of himself really well lately so i complimented him on it. He said, “yeah i want to look better now that i have people I’m interested in”

That resulted in a big fight bc my feelings were hurt. Like, am i not worth putting in the effort for?? He says im being too jealous and part of me feels that i shouldn’t criticize self-improvement but something about it just stings a bit

any advice about claiming something there's no evidence for?

back in 2022 i was at WTI, working night crew doing a preflight safety inspection on an aircraft (D/T for those that know). i fell off the aircraft. i don't remember the fall, but i remember waking up. it was night on a far corner of the flightline and i honestly don't know if i was out for seconds or hours. No phone or watch bc at the time QA was being especially strict about electronics on the flightline.

it was one of those situations where i'd already been working 4 hours, and i only had 8 hours to finish up my other taskings if i wanted to go home on time. so i could either walk a half mile back to the shop, whine about my head hurting, and maybe get others to do my work for me, or i could keep going. i finished my aircraft inspection and the next 4 i'd been assigned planning to go to medical after work. ended up staying late by another 4 hours due to unrelated fuckery by a lance corporal who decided to lose a tool. so then i had to decide - get 6 hours of sleep then go to work or go to medical? i chose sleep

never did end up going to medical. in hindsight, that was dumb. i should have but just got too wrapped up in work. on my exit medical exam years later i mentioned the fall, but that's the only documentation of it. VA denied the TBI claim for lack of evidence. i honestly don't mind if it's rated at 0%. but i want it to be accepted as a possible factor in my mental health and insomnia claims

i had an ear exam at one point, and the ear doctor asked me, 'When did you hit your head?' because she could see the damage to the inner ear. that's the only significant head blow i can recall. i mean there were others that aren't documented, but those were like when we got into fights in the shop so much less severe

any help is appreciated, going to work in a scif but i'll reply tonight. thanks in advance for any advice or insight!

Which playgrounds have bathrooms?

I know about Haynes park, but that’s a bit of a drive. I want to take my kids to an outdoors playground but i have IBS so i need to ensure there’s a bathroom where we go. We recently moved here
