Was browsing gunbroker per usual and came across this
Seller is labeling it as a “factory test gun”. To me it looks like bubba got ahold of it and fucked with it, especially the sights.
He’s asking $3900 for it btw
Got a new mosin today and its a unique M44
Refurbed 1945 M44 from Izhevsk with a 1927 receiver. Picked it up for $400 with some cosmoline still inside of it.
Can take more photos of it later if needed
Incase you couldnt tell the title is sarcasm. This is the bolt head to my turk G88/05/35 that ive had for a while and shot a few times and finally decided to deep clean it. Take it all apart no issues, get to the bolt with an easy takedown and easily put it back together. i try to fit the bolt back into the rifle and it didnt want to slide in. come to find out the bolt head doesnt line up with the bolt body and had to "persuade" the bolt to go back into the gun
I had a feeling for a while the bolt had a problem because extracting the spent rounds are a pain when shooting it and looks like i found the problem.
Hello all, with me recently getting my first sks (romanian all matching) i now have the itch for SKS’s. Ive learned that Albanian SKS’s are among the uncommon/sought after types.
I recently found a SKS thats advertised as being Chinese made and Albanian used. The stock itself is beat to hell and back. As for the markings there’s some chinese letterings on the side of the receiver and that’s it. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated
Morning all, i had a close friend of mine offer his Hex M44 to me for 450. He said he’ll give me the details on serial numbers, date, etc when he’s home but i want to know from you guys if 450 is a fair price for the hex m44
Hello all, i picked up this Romanian SKS yesterday for $500 with it all matching and bore reading of 1.0. Of course one of the first things that caught my eye was this sketchy ass stock that it's in. After looking around i found this stock online and was told that it might be a Romanian stock but couldnt be confirmed so i come to this community for some help/info on the stock and maybe some more info on the rifle itself if you have any to share.
Just another mosin added to the hoard of mosins i current have. I already own a VKT M39 from 42 but not a sako one so decided to get this for $630 (after sales tax and shipping) which is a STEAL in my opinion considering M39 prices now.
Took the rifle apart once home and it was COATED in cosmoline so im going to assume that this thing was never used/cleaned once it got imported to the states.
