I have a wired obsession with really short barrel. I built a 7.5” 556 with pdw type style firearm original built it as a DI worked amazing with the superlative adjustable gas block but was not satisfied with the amount of gas to the face even with tuning it was still gassy. I opted to make the superlative piston conversion work with Troy pdw stock ultimately made something I genuinely am in love with now introducing my 7.5” piston pdw ar-15, top it off it’s on a Anderson lower lol.

Hey I tired to copy a cz surplus barrel this as close I could get I should of done before barrel was pressed in
I polished it at first seems to work better but still had issues were it would jam just not as often. Is this close enough to possibly get me better results.?

Finally got my stamp cleared and had to modernize it somehow !!

Just picked up ascolon mount for my vz61 couldn’t decide between picatinny mount or mlock not sure how much mlock would be compatible with most accessories.

I had a batch approval for some used cans yesterday picked up today.

In total I paid 1,190 for all 3 including transfer fee. Did I okay .? Baffles do not show any erosion seem to be in great condition.

Hey I received my rti barrel today I believe install was successful without the need of drill press or freezing but I have attached some photos to see if everything looks okay. And pin was kinda hard to get in but I was able to fully push it in will probably come out we th a few rounds how can I prevent this with basic tools. I will be picking up my tortort lower tomorrow can’t function test with lower install at the moment but I believe everything looks okay right.?

Ap53 with print xh full size loaded with some 77 grain bubbas pissing hot loads.
S&W57 with mojo 22 loaded with some 62 grain fiocchi.

I bought the centerfire parts kit without barrel it’s kinda rough and has some rust how can I clean it a little better don’t care about paint tbh.

Barrel is going to be a royal tiger import threaded barrel plan on polishing the feed ramp and maybe the around the barrel as I do not have a drill press will try hammer and punch possibly freezer method. Any recommendations are welcomed.

For my lower I bought Atlantic tortort receiver I believe I have everything I need to build my vz61

I also purchased a 3mm hand reamer maybe help with barrel install.

Picked up Friday, installed a kit went shooting today I absolutely love this thing. Had a question about the hbi short buffer mod is there a difference in recoil.? Not sure if short stroking increases recoil some more compared to stock buffer I havnt even shoot it with the oem buffer went straight with upgrades lol.

I bought a ap5-p core with sling from Atlantic about 2 weeks ago, I was able to finally pick up today and I tell you I was worried about the issues that been going around but seems like I received top quality paint was perfect welds don’t look bad sights are straight and minimal magazine wobble when bolt open but when closed no wobble at all seems to be a perfect. Later today I will stress test it with some 124 and 147 goal is to shoot about 300rd today hopefully runs well the quality I received today is better than when I got my ap5 5 years ago. Any way had parts ready to go for a while now it’s true you end up buying the other models eventually lol.
