At what time will it come?

Hey everyone, I’m a first-year student at MIT Manipal and I’m interested in getting involved in organising fests like Revels, TechTatva, and other major college events.

How does the recruitment/selection for these committees usually work? Do they recruit first-years directly, and if so, when and where do the applications usually open?

Also, are there any specific clubs/committees or people I should approach if I want to get involved in event management and organising?

Would appreciate any advice from seniors who’ve been part of these fests!

Ppl who got offer letter can someone plz tell if there's gonna be itr7 or not as some ppl said it's written in offer letter.

Also some ppl r saying last yr itr7 was internal. If there's an itr7 will waitlisted ppl be allowed to participate?

I passed Class 12 in 2025 and gave BITSAT 2025, where I scored 123.I took a drop year and gave BITSAT again in 2026, scored 199 again, but unfortunately couldn’t get a seat because of 200 hard cutoff.

I want to try for BITSAT again in 2027. My question is: Can I become eligible for BITSAT 2027 by doing Class 12 again through NIOS this year, with all subjects, and getting a new NIOS marksheet?

Basically, I would have my original 2025 Class 12 marksheet and then a fresh NIOS Class 12 marksheet from 2026/2027.

Has anyone been in a similar situation or knows the official BITS policy regarding this? Would really appreciate any clarification, because I don't want to go through the NIOS process only to find out that I'm not eligible for BITSAT 2027.

Hi everyone,

I already have a DigiLocker account, and I'm trying to create my APAAR ID before joining MIT Manipal.

However, during the process it's asking for my institute roll number and other college details. Since I'm not enrolled yet, I don't have any of that information.

Has anyone else faced this? Do I need to wait until enrollment is complete, or is there another way to create the APAAR ID?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

• Do 1st-year and 2nd-year students use the same AC bus, or are the buses separate?
• Approximately how much is the transport fee for the Ameerpet route? I'll be joining late, so I wanted to know if I can still opt for the bus and what the fee would be.

I waited till now thinking i could get a seat at bits. but bits cutoffs shot up like crazy and i have very less hope. i fcked up eamcet too so only option i have is gitam. can i still join? someone plzz helpp

BITS Hyderabad query:

• I've heard 50% attendance is mandatory in Hyderabad. Is that actually enforced, and is it specific to Hyderabad or common across all BITS campuses?
• Are shorts allowed in classes, or do professors generally object?
