Hi all,
I have a fat ball feeder on a garden wall beside one of my hedges that I know birds frequent. Today whilst outside I noticed a tiny mouse scavenging for food below the feeder. I do live fairly close to a nature area.
Is this something to be worried about and should i stop putting the food out? Its 100% a mouse and not a rat that I saw too incase that somehow makes a difference. I like feeding the birds but don't want vermin coming to house
Is the Elite league falling behind ligue magnus?
Plenty of good talented players from the EIHL have gone across this season alone and a lot of good talent rumoured for the EIHL has headed that way too.
The league has a better schedule for players, probably some nicer places to live or enjoy days off on and I'd say similar enough or better money for them.
EIHL really needs to take a look at how things are being run before it really starts to fall behind. Even simple things like DOPs getting its shit together for players safety.
I've got a quote off admiral for insurance on my provisional licence. I'm only going to need it for a month or so though as I need to insure the car but will be doing my test next month.
How difficult will it be to then change my policy to a full one and am I going to be shafted by the company? (Most likely admiral for reference)
Just want to make sure when I pass I can either cancel it reasonably or it be changed to a full policy but not at whatever random price they decide.
Hi all, I have been learning to drive and have my test booked for next month. I managed to buy a car on a good deal but I am now trying to figure out the best way to insure it.
I live in NI and would like to be able to practice in it before my test. If i buy a policy that i apply for on my provisional licence does that actually cover me to drive it with a suitable driver in passenger seat or do I still need to buy specific learners insurance on top of that policy? Was looking on compare the market for context
Thanks

Hi all,
The house I moved into has an electric gate, no idea who installed it nor does it have any name/manuals left around. These rollers seem worn down causing it to rattle but I can't find them online by searching rollers or bearings or anything. Probably stupid but does anyone know the proper name or search or potentially what I need? Thanks
Hi all,
I have this shed part of a garden room thst I recently built a workbench in. I wanted to attach the metal peg boards in the photo to the wall.

My main issue is that below the bench is a double socket and I don't know if the wiring goes under the floor or up the wall and to the lights above. I have tried using one of those bosch electric/metal detectors but it just beeps everywhere (i presume because of whatever insulations behind it.

The garden room was here when we moved in so I can't ask the people who installed it as I don't know who it was

Any advice on best way to screw the boards in without turning myself into toast thanks
Hi does anyone know or can recommend any adult softball or baseball teams that would take on beginners? Played at school but would like to try to get into it for something to do.
Hi I recently bought the above grill and had a few complete beginner questions that I'd hope someone could help me with!
Firstly it has an adjustable area for the coals that can be raised or lowered, the couple of times I have used it I have just put the coals on the lefthand side for direct heat and then left the right with nothing for indirect. On either side of the grill are the vents seen in the photo, which side should I have open when cooking or should it be neither? Or both? Usually cooking a mixture of things from burgers/steaks to wings on it.
I've been using a charcoal chimney with weber briquettes in it, is there a better way to dump the coals in and not have all the embers/ash fly up everywhere?
My last question is just about cleaning it, I have a grill brush but noticed the grates are still greasy/black when i run paper towels over it, am I best just taking the grills off and cleaning them with water then making sure they are dry or whats the best way for me to keep it clean and in good shape going forwards?
Sorry for the stupid questions new to doing this and want to improve and keep it in good condition! Thanks
