The story arc of the Fossaway cousin is just as entertaining as Dunk. His arc from a squire to battling in a historical trial of 7, making choices against his family, branching off with a green apple sigil, being the ultimate ride or die homie imaginable, ending with a “wife and child” by the end of the tourney, willing to throw drown for dunk AGAIN when Maeker summoned him to discuss taking on egg as a squire…. Just an equally interesting/complex character in the story.

Before we get into this I feel the need to continue to say that AKOT7K is my favorite television adaptation within the GoT universe so far. I friggin’ love this show!! Acting, direction, story, music - everything!

But how did Aerion get to Sir Stefan Fossaway so quickly after the trial of 7 was established, scheme the strategy to tell him to trick dunk for a lordship all before Dunk made it back to the Fossaway tent? Even if Aerion planned the outcome before-hand and played everyone at the walnut smashing scene, there would still be needed some time for Aerion to let Stefan know that the plan was a go…

I’m just thrilled to see Amadore made it and is now a district attorney in Ohio…

I know, I know.. they are two completely different movies and yada yada yada. But when it comes to media attention - I think Backrooms should be getting more than it is and more than Obsession. Obsession is an amazing and entertaining experience with some subtle headiness, while Backrooms is all of that + so much more

Towards the end when Dr Mary visits Clark in the backrooms and he ties her up to do the therapy role play….who are the 3 people in the kitchen supposed to be? It appears the backrooms create duplications of traumatic memories of the people who enter it, then who are the people in the kitchen with them? Does Clark slice off the women’s red hair because that’s a memory duplicate of his x-wife? Or is it presumed Clark rounded up some entities from the backrooms to join (and eat apparently)?

Does anyone think that Clarke knew what would happen to Bobby and Kat? As if the pirate monster version of himself told him to bring them? Bobby even suggested the knot he made was crazy tight and he didn’t really say why it had to be Bobby that went down into the tunnel hallway. Then as if he positioned it so the bed would knock them down. Clearly, death needs to happen in this place.. so was Clark obeying? Same reason why he got Mary to come too in a way??

I’m one of those joykills that doesn’t like season 7!and 8 from GoT, which relates to the change in dialogue style and odd character development. I also love Akot7k. So much it might be up there with my love of the sopranos it’s so friggin good… but I try watching HOD and next thing I know I’ve scrolled through 1,000 YouTube shorts. I’ve been reading up on targareon history so maybe it’ll interest me more.

Any recommendations to stay awake watching HOD? Perhaps season 2 is better than season 1?

I’m trying to catch up for HOD season 3 and either I’m not very bright or it’s very difficult to keep track of the Targaryen family tree…
