So I was planning on going to chilis… I haven’t been there since right after Covid… I just looked at the menu and the nachos… are gone?!
I’m so sad. Those were the best nachos I’ve ever had. Each chip with the perfect amount of meat, cheese, pepper, tomato…. Now just gone. Now what? I’m supposed to get chips and queso? Are they insane!? I’ve never been so depressed in my life
but i cannot get over the fact they just did cole like that... like what was the point of him being the MC in the first movie to get his head smashed in lmao
I just got home 2 hours ago from a super double. 7am-1am… at dinner time I had a party. It was a speed dating party, I guess for older people. They seemed do be 50+. I worked the party solo, it was about 35 people.
This one lady was really nice, she ordered a Cesar salad, and a martini. After serving everyone food, she snaps her fingers at me across the room yelling “SIR, SIR, I HAVE A REALLY BIG PROBLEM” so I rush over there and and she says “sir do YOU see a problem here” as she pokes me in my stomach… so I look and i say “sorry mam, I don’t… but if there’s an issue I’m more than willing to fix it for you” and that must have absolutely sent her to the bowels of hell. She gets red in the face, and looks like she’s shaking… and screams at me! “I ORDERED A CEASAR SALAD!!!!!” and I said… “yes I know. And that’s what you have, is it not good?” She replies “NO ITS NOT GOOD! THERES ONLY LETTUCE, CHEESE, AND CROUTONS!!!! WHERE ARE THE ONIONS TOMATOS AND CARROTS” and I say… “oh I’m sorry, did you want a house salad with Caesar dressing instead, no worries I can do that for you” and she fucking lost it. she goes “ARE YOU FUCKING STUPID? OR DO YOU THINK IM A STUPID PERSON? IVE BEEN EATING CEASAR SALAD MY ENTIRE LIFE, AND I KNOW HOW ITS MADE… DONT TREAT ME LIKE IM STUPID” I say, oh will I’m so sorry… this is just how we make the Cesar salads here… and she cuts me off, and requests the manager… so I go and get the manager, and I’m just watching from the kitchen. This women takes a handful of lettuce and throws it on the floor. And asks for a refund… then about 30’minutes later she asks if she can have a house salad with Caesar dressing…
They all did seperate checks(fun) and this nice lady left me two quarters
I just needed to vent…but I will never forget about this Cesar salad lady who knows exactly what a Cesar salad is… and how it is prepared.
Why are people like this? I was more than willing to
Accommodate what she wanted. Even if a restaurant totally messed up my order… I would never act like this. Just a simple, oh I thought it came like this, is there anyway I could get this…

our menu states exactly everything that is in each salad… so yes. It does say lettuce, Parmesan cheese, and croutons. And yes lady, I think you are a stupid person.

i feel like once it was announced ABMM was a thing, and people slowly started going into their separate lobbies... Arc lost a lot of its soul. In my lobbies, id always have a pretty mixed bag, some people would wanna team up, some would just be doing goofy shit playing the recorder and singing, and others would be running and gunning.
now my lobbies are just filled with ultra sweats... and the game feels like every other extraction shooter with robots. I still love the game, I cant help but feel it was so much better when there was more mixed lobbies... i posted here because the main sub is a bunch of PVE wanting cry baby bitches... and i want to know what people think about this that are like me. that enjoy PVP and PVE

ABMM is where the down fall of Arc Raiders started, yes or no?
If you played Arc day one you remember all the player to player interaction in the game right? Its not just me that after they confirmed ABMM and people started gaming the system to basically get PVE lobbies, the entire game changed.... it was no longer a unique extraction shooter, it became sweatfest/cheaterfest unless you were a die 15 times in a row loser who got PVE lobbies.
I think personally ABMM killed the soul of the game... what made it different, and what made it fun to play and watch.

so after years of my wife begging me to watch this show.... i binge watched it, in about a week in a half. i became obsessed with the show.
The entire time i watched it, i couldnt help but think how this could happen, in the blink of an eye. How even some cultures are run this way even today (maybe not 1:1). Now anytime i see an article on the fertility crisis... or population decreasing. theres a feeling in my stomach that is a little fearful.
with that said i did just read a study from University of Cambridge i believe that was the reverse of handsmaid tale... that said as women rise in the working force, and college graduates... they are having less children because women look at men as less desirable.
although... now that i think about it, it was the mens fault in the first place... they just blamed women infertility. anyway... i realize this is starting to sound like a skitzo rant.. shout out to my wife for making me mentally ill after watching this show.
this last episode has really confused me about her place... i understand the change of perspective. but her early motivations seem muddied now.
How exactly is it decided in the early days of Gilead who becomes a Econo wife/husband, who goes to the colonies, and who becomes a handmaid? Or how do you become an aunt?
I remember they said something along the lines of people who were men/women of faith were allowed to become econo families… but how do they know?
Also… did they kill all those girls with Down syndrome when they show June getting on boarded?
