I might not have a brain gentlemen, but I have an idea

Would this plan work? I am in Riverside and have a cop car, some guns, and some gas cans.

  1. In a preplanned spot, I lay out gas cans

  2. I use the cop car, sirens on, to lure a bunch of zomboids to the spot.

  3. I jump out and let the zomboids gather.

  4. I shoot the gas can, or throw a molotov into the horde, lighting the cans on fire and igniting the horde.

  5. I watch the show unfold before me.

Is this a good plan?

My cousin is about to birth a child with a confirmed brittle bones. How do I treat this child when they enter this world?

I (M26) write this with a heavy heart and even heavier bones.

My cousin (F29) married a man (M30). A cop. Someone whose entire job is chasing criminals, tackling people, and generally existing in high-impact situations. You would think such a profession would select for calcium and good bone density. You would be wrong.

Last week, during a foot pursuit, this man tripped. Tripped. And shattered his wrist. Not a little crack. Not a “maybe it’s just bruised.” Shattered. So broken that he cannot even perform menial desk work at the police department.

He fell on his own wrist while chasing a criminal.

I cannot stress this enough: the criminal did not even touch him. Gravity, a slight downward slope, and his own pathetic skeleton did the work.

My cousin is currently carrying this man’s child (M0). A son. A son who will almost certainly inherit these brittle, chalk-like genes. I fear for the future of this family. I fear for the day that boy tries to open a stubborn jar and his radius simply gives up.

But how do I treat this soon to be born child? I know he has tainted blood, and the potential to be a BBB too like his father. Should I look down upon his child when born? Or do I coddle him and ensure that he does not shatter his own pelvis when learning to walk?

Strengths of factions?

So I'm pretty new to this game but I am really enjoying the Americans in conquest right now. The 50 cals on basically every vehicle are so god damn fun. On the tanks. On the trucks. Even on the M7 SPG, my beloved. I love the 50 cals man. I love them.

But that got me thinking, what are the strengths of other factions? It seems like the Americans do well in straight up infantry fights right? Basically every soldier is armed with a semi-auto Garand. The only thing is, that I drag around a 30 cal or 50 cal because I dont find the BAR to provide enough firepower for my tastes. I am in love with the M7 though, great range and I found it has been super helpful with hitting enemy mortars and other emplacements.

Seems like the Germans love to bring their 20mm and 37mm auto cannons against me. Those are super scary. But what are Soviet, British, and Finnish strengths?

[Excerpt] (Soul Hunter) The chilling last words of Malcharion, before internment into a dreadnought

>I have served with loyalty and honour…

>Throw… my ashes into the void.

>Do… not… entomb me…’

>– Final words of the war-sage Malcharion

This is one of those excerpts that stuck with me, years after I read it. Something about a marine pleading, to his brother's to let him die.

Wild undead in the sewers of Altdorf?

Hey so I am pretty new to the lore of WH Fantasy, only familiar through TW WH3. I picked up Archaon Everchosen by Rob Sanders and I had a question concerning the undead. So Diederick is moving in the sewers beneath Altdorf, built by the dwarves. There is a lot of excrement, then he begins encountering corpses as he ventures deeper into the sewers. Corpses that grasp at him, which Diederick kills. Then a walking undead with half its head caved in begins shambling towards him, which he also kills.

So are these zombies? I was under the impression that zombies and undead had to be raised and under the control of a necromancer or some magic user. Are there just wild undead roaming the sewers of Altdorf? And does that extend to the wider Empire? Just bands of roving zombies moving willy nilly? Because I mean thats pretty grimdark 🤓. But I am just confused as to how undead work. Especially in Altdorf, as it is the capital and home of the Holy Temple of Sigmar.

New and just found out about mixpacking

Playing on official server and I got mixpacked. I have under 30 hours and I was really enjoying Cerato. Literally cannot starve to death with him. Though my first life, I got jumped by an adult T Rex when I was just a baby lol. So I got to subadult size just scavenging and eating deer, then decided to go to North Lake to see what I can get into. I saw another Cerato, and I walked up. Asked if he wanted to squad up and he told me that he was already part of another group. Thats when I saw what I thought were small Ceratos. They were not infact small Ceratos, but a ton of raptors. They chased me. I ran and ended up getting myself cornered in this deadend area, with only a tree. I made my stand and for about three days, I fended them off and ran out of stamina. Only managing to kill one of them. At the beginning of the vid, I gave up and just went out into the open to try to fight them. I didn't even know you can buck them off without having to use a tree to swipe them off. I eventually just got frustrated because this fight was getting nowhere. I couldn't run. The raptors were taking too long to kill me. And all at the same time the Cerato was being "friendly". He even offered a chance for me to join them. I was insulted that they thought I would. So I tried to fight the Cerato once I saw him. Only to get overwhelmed once I got out into the open.

Are Ultramarines the most played chapter on tabletop?

Meta, but I always wondered this. I don't play tabletop at all but I read the books. The releases by Black Library as of late have been distinctly Guardmen focused with books like Death Rider, Demolisher, Vegabond Squadron, with some Space Marine/Traitor Marine books in the mix. However I just saw that the Ultramarines just got a new model, in the face of Blood Angels being the big plot point of 11th edition and them showing up on Armageddon right? Like we left 10th edition with the Devastation of Baal, Lion El Johnson coming back, and Dante finding the Lion.

But what gives? I don't get why Ultramarines are featured so heavily. While in the last 40 Black Library releases, the Ultramines get just one dedicated book, Guardsmen get 10, and Traitor marines get 4. If the lore development features other chapters as the main plot, then why doesn't Games Workshop head in that direction too? Is it just that Ultramarines sell better? Or is it literally because apparently blue is easier to paint? (I heard this somewhere at some point I think.)

Ever wished we got to see more primarch interactions beyond what we got?

Like I'm interested to see how a conversation between the pretty insane Curze and Perturabo would've been like. Maybe Curze would've chastised Perturabo about how the mathematical approach to the compliance of world's was just inefficient compared to the slaughter and torture of a few innocents to achieve the "same" outcome.

Or maybe we could've gotten a conversation between Magnus and Sanguinius concerning the nature of the Angel's gift of foresight. Maybe a conversation before Nikaea and/or post the abolition of the Librarius.

Even a pompous/flamboyant Fulgrim and a introspective/quiet Corax duo bringing a world under compliance would've been fun. Akin to what we got in Angel Experminatus with Fulgrim and Perty.

What meetings did you want in the HH? During the Civil War or even during the Great Crusade?
