I just needed to see something real quick regarding how bad the crashes can get

The game has an issue with crashes. It’s had this issue for over a year. But for some reason the Academy mode for like a week or so has had it really bad, to the point I had to time it. In my most recent attempts, in order to get one complete run of this mode that should only take a minute and 30 seconds if you’re on 2X, it instead took this long because of the crashes. Note that three times, it crashed after the end count but before the complete text showed up meaning it didn’t count for completion. This isn’t good. idk what DevSisters is doing but fixing these crashes is long overdue, but out of curiosity, has anyone else tried the same thing?

Is there any way to know that my shadowban was lifted or do I just have to wing it by risking resetting the invisible timer?

Just as the title says. Tomorrow will mark a week since my shadowban timer was reset and some people say a week is around when a shadowban lasts (Sometimes longer though) and I want to know if I can tell if it ended or I got the longer shadowban from a specific method or if I have to basically wing it

Trying to play Ring Racers on AYN Thor, black screen with sound (Winlator 11.1)

I tried different settings, including the guide used on the srb2.org page to try and get the game running on Winlator but it just gives me a black screen. I did the changes to WineD3D, used FBO, and used both Intermediate and Performative for Box64 but nothing worked. What settings do I need?

How to get extra hud like in this video?

I’ve looked around in the settings to try and find the extra HUD elements such as ring boost length, and drift charge level but couldn’t find it. Is it a specific setting or addon I need to download?

Odin 2 to Thor transfer

My Ayn Thor came in today, as a planned upgrade from my Odin 2 (Especially in the storage department), and while I can seemingly transfer internal files with the included USB-C cable, what about apps directly installed on the Odin 2? Such as emulators and other game APKs? Is there a way to transfer the apps over or will I have to redownload them all? (I don't think redownloading will undo any save data I have but will it require me to re-setup things like controls and graphics?)

Query: Is it possible to transfer games from a MicroSD card on death row to a brand new MicroSD card?

So here’s the lowdown: My MicroSD card is done for seemingly, as it lines up with what I’ve read regarding card health (Steam Deck not seeing it as formatted, when it does re-recognize my games, downloads are impossible as they have a Write Error or transfer at a rate of literally 0, etc). So I’ve been planning on getting a USB-C to MicroSD card adapter and a new card to hopefully transfer everything over, but would this work? Would the file manager in desktop mode still be able to recognize everything on the dying card and be able to transfer it to the new card? It’s something that has been on my mind for the past few days, and it would be nice to hear some opinions from others regarding this.

Besides crashing, this might be one of the other big issues the game has

Can anyone explain how a glitch like this can even happen?

Theoretical Gadget Build?

Combine Boost Item with Go Go Omochao to get huge changes for him. He can be gotten in first so maybe it could help with getting shortcuts in first. Also RGB mini to make Omochao stronger but can be replaced with Ring Engine

I call this build “Holy shit please just let me play the game already”

Quick recovery to counter item spam, Ring Mercy and RGB Mini to more quickly get back up to speed after getting hit, and Ring Engine because you just kinda need it at this point. Just need a good character and kart combination that’ll work best with it

I still remember when we first heard that SpongeBob was going to be in the game because of Paramount having literally 0 leak security. ngl it was super surprising and I was super excited about it all. Then cut to when we saw gameplay. "Hm, he and Patrick are silent, but hey, they'll add voice lines later." Cut to now, 7 months later, where our 70 dollar game with a 30 dollar season pass still can't voice all the new characters. This was such a hot debate when SEGA first was like "the guests won't interact with the main roster." People were pissed. Then it was fully confirmed that the guests were completely silent and everyone was even more pissed. I remember so many people expressing their disappointment and making fun of SEGA for this backwards decision and their honestly lackluster reasoning. But now, not a lot of people seem to be talking about it as much, which feels kinda... Lame. And I have seen some reasons why, and lemme just get my two cents in on why I don't agree with it

First off is the licensing stuff. Mainly when SEGA said that it would take too long for the approval process... Even though they had no problem getting the approval back for SART, which included the real life people they added to the game. On top of that, the people who originally leaked SpongeBob confirmed that he was in the game as far back as 2024. And that was just for him, who knows when they got the deals in to add the rest of the guests. So... I THINK THEY HAD PLENTY OF TIME TO FIGURE THAT OUT! It's just very hard to believe, and that's not even mentioning the characters SEGA themselves own or literal other Sonic characters. Said characters who were just given a voice and were even involved with promoting their addition to the game. You're saying they couldn't get them to voice lines for the game too?! And what about Sonic appearing in other games? He was in CookieRun Kingdom and different Sonic characters were added to KartRider Rush+, and both times, there was voice acting (Even if it was all recycled lines).

Next, people say it would have cost them too much. Look, SEGA (Technically SEGA Sammy) is a multi million dollar company who is charging, again, 70 dollars for this game and 30 dollars for the season pass. I think they can afford it. Especially since they had no problem getting Keanu Reeves to voice Movie Shadow in one stage of Shadow Generations. Do you really think voice actors like Tom Kenny, Martin T Sherman, or Erica Mendez are more expensive than Keanu? I mean have you seen how expensive he can get?

Finally, people say to just use mods and forget it, like the Speak DLC mod. Look, I don't wanna put down the hard work done to make those mods work, especially with the Speak DLC mod and getting new voice actors for characters like Mega Man and Protoman, but what about console players? They can't mod (Even if it should technically be possible), so they can't access these mods. Hell, the Switch 2 so far can't be modded so even if these mods come to console, Switch 2 players would still be out of the running, and there are some things voice mods won't be able to fix like the lack of attack interactions or proper rival cutscenes in Grand Prix.

It really feels like people were too eager to brush this behind them, especially after the voice mods, which is kinda weird since Nick Brawl 1 launched with no voice acting. Yet, despite the much smaller community and the miniscule budget they had, the community for that game was able to stay vocal enough for that game to get voice acting, even with multiple voice acting mods already around. Look, it's insanely disappointing that the state of the guests and DLC are like this, and it makes me unexcited for what characters will be added knowing how much they'll be, frankly, half assed by a really stupid decision from SEGA.
