A quick question regarding these minis!
Hello!
I am looking to kitbash myself a custom UN 3rd Battalion, but I cannot find the proper base sizes for these bad boys! Could someone help me?
Thank you in advance <3

Hello!
I considering getting into the OPR ecosystem (I enjoy both the futuristic and fantasy sides of it!) and just so happened to stumble upon these two sets in my FLGS (on a nice discount :P). I've been wondering whether there would be a Grimdark Future faction that these could work in (I am aware it is miniature agnostic). I think getting one of these boxes could be neat (I dig these goofy fellas) but am unsure whether they'd be playable. So far I looked into Goblin Reclaimers, but I am very much open to ideas :D
Thank you in advance <3
So! As the title says, I've been quite curious regarding Quar (the 28mm scale version!) and so I'd like to ask a couple of things before I take a plunge. Thank you in advance and hopefully chat with you down in te comments!
- How beginner friendly is it? I'd like to play it with my brother, who hasn't really touched wargaming at all. Would it be difficult to learn the core rules?
- Would it be okay to build a band using solely a box of, for example, specialists or command (without the basic infantry) or would you advise going for the infantry guys? I think some of these minis have a lot of character, but I wouldn't wish to invest in a box that wouldn't really give me a proper force/good gameplay experience. W
Hello!
I've been eyeing Star Wars Shatterpoint, as I've been hoping to play some skirmish-scale game set in the galaxy far far away. My first pick was Legion, though that one doesn't really have a dedicated spin-off skirmish mode.
My question is, how possible is it to make strike teams (if my terminology is correct here) without (or with a limited use) of named characters? I'm talking strike teams consisting predominantly of clones/droids/stormtroopers of various kinds, but perhaps limiting the actual named characters to a single one or so.
From the various boxes I've seen, most feature a lot of characters, hence why I'm asking. I'm just not sure if a hero vs hero is my jam, as I fancy the basic troop angle a bit more ;D
Basically the question above! I've been thinking about making a swill-themed army, especially when seeing these minis. However, I'm a bit concerned that achieving such a paint job (especially skin, though the rest too) might be rather difficult. What do more experienced painters think?
