Had to get the nature in the background.
\*\*The easiest way to destroy a mother is to make her children doubt her.\*\*
Rose Winters was never supposed to become someone else’s wife. In Jacob’s mind, she has always belonged to him. When tragedy enters Rose’s life, Jacob does not mourn what she lost. He studies what it makes available. He becomes patient. Helpful. Harmless enough to trust. Necessary enough to reach what Rose protects most.
Her children are not obstacles. They are access points. They are the part of Rose that can be reached without ever touching her. So Jacob learns their fears, their habits, their weaknesses, and the small places where a child’s trust can be redirected.
A child can be guided. A fear can be planted. A memory can be bent until it points somewhere else. The right words, said at the right time, can make protection feel like danger and manipulation feel like safety. Jacob does not believe he is manipulating Rose’s family. He believes he is revealing where they truly belong.
\*\*Some monsters take children from their mothers. Jacob teaches them to walk away.\*\*

Hey everyone, I have 50 codes available for my new psychological thriller. Trying to hit best selling new release like I did for my other book. If you are interested in a code in exchange for an honest review, please DM me with what country you want the code in. If you want to support me by getting a copy of either paperback or audible, that would be awesome too, anyways here’s the blurb for anyone interested.

Thank you to everyone who helped me pick a cover a few months ago. It is now officially out!
I’m looking into adapt my novel into a film. I already have the exact visual idea of how I envision everything to be, but I don’t have the capabilities or equipment to make a full length film.
My book is a psychological thriller/horror, with an award, an endorsement by New York Times best selling author and will be getting an Amazon push very soon. Just wondering if there’s any film makers with equipment, actors, editors, basically assembling a project to make this work.
Basic premise. Rose is the main character and she’s slowly losing her child which is why the rose is melting and its dying strings are holding onto the bear. There’s eyes on the cover because someone else is the one that’s causing this. I can’t decide which font and color as well as the background looks the best.
I know people will ask, it’s made by Jack Hillside, he’s in this sub a lot. My biggest issue with him is that he made too many amazing options that I don’t know which one to pick.😂😂
For a psychological thriller/horror. I already have a few one sentence blurbs coming from respected authors that will be on the bottom of the cover so I need a short to medium length blurb for this book. I’m putting four options. Let me know which one makes you want to get the book. Perhaps maybe there’s something in one blurb that’s not on the other that you think would be better. I’m open to all criticism.
Blurb 1:
It’s not manipulation.
Not if Jacob believes he is saving them from her.
Rose Winters was never supposed to belong to someone else. In Jacob’s mind, every part of her life makes more sense with him inside it. Her grief gives him an opening. Her loneliness gives him a role. Her children give him a way in.
Jacob does not need to force himself into Rose’s family. He only needs to become necessary.
Patient. Helpful. Familiar. Safe.
Then he begins working on the children.
A fear can be planted. A memory can be bent. A child can be taught to question the person who has loved them their entire life. With enough time, the right words can make a mother look unstable, protection feel dangerous, and manipulation feel like rescue.
The closer Jacob gets, the more his obsession turns into purpose. He’s not trying to destroy Rose’s family. He’s trying to rearrange it around himself.
And if the children pull away from her, if they trust him more, if they start to believe their mother is the problem, then maybe Jacob was right all along.
Maybe they were always meant to be his.
A mother can fight a stranger, but she may not survive the man her children trust.
Blurb 2 (slightly more plot):
It’s not manipulation.
Not if Jacob believes he is saving them from her.
Rose Winters was never supposed to belong to someone else. In Jacob’s mind, every part of her life makes more sense with him inside it. When she marries another man, Jacob refuses to accept that her future has been decided without him.
Then tragedy gives him an opening.
As Rose tries to rebuild her life as a mother, Jacob steps closer. Her grief gives him sympathy. Her loneliness gives him a role. Her children give him a way in.
Jacob does not need to force himself into Rose’s family. He only needs to become necessary.
Patient. Helpful. Familiar. Safe.
Then he begins working on the children.

Maybe they were always meant to be his.
A mother can fight a stranger. She may not survive the man her children trust.
Blurb 3 (different angle):
Jacob knows the difference between love and obsession.
He just stopped caring which one it is.
Rose Winters was supposed to be his. That truth has lived in Jacob’s mind longer than her marriage, longer than her children, and longer than the life she built without him.
So when tragedy opens the door, Jacob does what he has always done best.
He watches and waits.
He learns what Rose fears, what she protects, and what she cannot survive losing.
He does not enter her life as a threat. He becomes useful. He becomes trusted. He becomes the quiet answer to problems no one realizes he helped create. Once he understands the bond between Rose and her children, Jacob sees the path to everything he wants.
A child’s fear can be shaped and A mother’s love can be used. A family can be taken apart without ever looking broken.
As Jacob’s obsession deepens, love, control, and delusion begin to feel like the same thing. Rose’s twins become more than children to him. They become proof. They become leverage. They become the family he believes he was denied.
And a man who thinks he is owed love will always find someone to punish for denying it.
Blurb 4:
The easiest way to destroy a mother is to make her children doubt her.
Rose Winters was never supposed to become someone else’s wife. In Jacob’s mind, she has always belonged to him. When tragedy finally gives him a way close to her, he does not force his way in. He becomes patient. Helpful. Harmless enough to trust.
But Jacob is not satisfied with being near Rose.
He wants to understand what controls her.
Her children are not obstacles. They are access points. They are pressure. They are the part of Rose that can be reached without ever touching her. So Jacob studies them the way he studies everything else: carefully, quietly, and with a mind already skilled at turning love into strategy.
A child can be guided. A fear can be planted. A memory can be bent until it points somewhere else. The right words, said at the right time, can make protection feel like danger and manipulation feel like safety.
The deeper Jacob gets, the more his obsession begins to sound like purpose. He does not believe he is destroying Rose’s family.
He believes he is revealing where they truly belong.
Some monsters take children from their mothers. Jacob teaches them to walk away.
Thank you for the help everyone!!
