Does Dr. Rohit Pathak sir also know full-stack development? 😂 He has built a new website, but he's a Mathematics professor. Did he actually code it himself, or was it vibe-coded?

The most hated professor of all time. 😭 Hardworking and curious Professor 😁💀.

Ever since Dr. Pratosh Bansal sir became the Director, a lot of positive and new developments have been happening in the college. It actually feels like a modern, next-generation college now.

Bansal sir >>>> Tokekar sir and the other directors. 🤡

HOD of ENTC Department Dr Sanjiv Tokekar & His wife Tokekar Scammer, Tokekar destroyed IET and whole Entc department worst director and HOD .

Bansal sir Era hostels are also upgraded 😊

These people presented a readymade kit drone to the District Collector as their own innovation lol

So I was scrolling and came across this post on the Jabalpur Collector's official Instagram where some engineering students are being praised for building a "mini surveillance drone" for just ₹3,000. The collector loved it, promised them support, whole thing.

Something felt off so I did a quick search and found the exact same drone being sold on Techatronic Shop for ₹2,399. Like not similar, exactly identical. Same body, same motors, same propellers, same LED lights in the same positions. It's literally called a "Mini DIY Drone with User Manual."

They bought a kit, assembled it, and walked into the Collector's office like they engineered something from scratch.

I get that assembling stuff takes some effort but bro getting government backing, media coverage, and being called innovators for putting together something anyone can order online is a bit much no?

Leaving the screenshots here, you guys decide.

nothing against anyone in the picture 🙏🏻

SGSITS cutoffs in JoSAA Round 1 (2026) have decreased compared to last year (2025).

No robotics and artificial intelligence RAI branch in jossa (No fees structure , no faculty) .

Poor placement records can affect a college's perceived quality and result in lower admission cutoffs.

Hopefully, this will be a wake-up call for the Director Sir and the HODs to take the issue seriously and work towards improving the college's placement performance.

⚠️ Very Important Concern Regarding the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (RAI) Branch

According to the Director Sir, admissions for this branch were supposed to take place through CLC counselling.

The Head of Department of RAI said that there is no faculty available and that they do not know anything, and that the RAI branch would start from the next session.

The IT HOD, on the other hand, said that the seats of the RAI branch would be increased.

However, on 17 June, this branch suddenly appeared in the MPDTE choice filling list. How did that happen?

Were the Director Sir and the HODs misleading the students?

Even the fee structure for the RAI branch is not known yet.

What exactly is going on with this branch?

Is AICTE approval and seat allocation just a joke that everything is being handled so casually?

What exactly is happening in the college?

Is RAI BRANCH completely scam?

Honestly asking SGSITS students: why do some people keep abusing or degrading the college? What are the genuine issues with SGSITS? Students in every college work hard for placements.

CSE/IT/Entc/Ei students must answer this questions.

Q1 Are you guys grinding DSA problems daily for placements?

Q2 How many DSA problems are you solving daily?

Q3 Are you consistently doing LeetCode or Codeforces?

Q4 Have you built any projects or are you only focusing on DSA?

Q5 How much time do you spend daily on placement preparation?

Q6 Are you studying CS fundamentals (OOP, DBMS, OS, CN)?

Q7 Have you done any internships or applied off-campus?

Q8 What's your current Codeforces/LeetCode rating?

Q9 How many mock interviews have you given so far?

Q10 Do you think the college is the problem, or are students not putting in enough effort?

Q11 Before blaming the college, are you doing everything required to get placed?

Q12 Do you meet the typical CGPA criteria (7.5+) required by many companies?

Q13 Do you think you're putting in the same effort that students at IITs, NITs, and IIITs put into DSA, projects, and interview preparation?

Q14 Are you guys attending hackathons in Delhi, Bangalore, or other metropolitan cities?

Q15 Are you preparing for off-campus opportunities at companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, NVIDIA, OpenAI, Oracle, SpaceX, Apple, Netflix, or Goldman Sachs?

Placements depend a lot on the quality and hard work of students. If students continuously improve their skills, companies will naturally be more interested in visiting the campus. After all, if candidates lack the required knowledge and preparation, why would companies spend time and resources recruiting from there?

Moreover, today's students are tomorrow's alumni. If you work hard and get into top product-based companies, you can help strengthen the college's reputation and even influence hiring opportunities in the future. Strong alumni networks are one of the reasons why many top colleges attract good companies. Instead of only blaming the college, we should also focus on improving ourselves and the overall quality of the student community.

Before blaming or degrading the college, ask yourself: are you putting in the same level of effort as students who secure top placements? Are you consistently grinding DSA, maintaining a good CGPA, building projects, studying CS fundamentals, attending hackathons, networking, and preparing for off-campus opportunities at top companies? No college guarantees placements. Opportunities matter, but so does the effort you put in.

The college is working hard to bring opportunities, but students also need to work hard to make the most of them. Placements are a two-way process. If students improve their skills and overall quality, better companies and opportunities will follow. Today's students are tomorrow's alumni, and strong alumni networks can further help bring top companies to the campus.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to read and respond to these questions.
