What is shopping, from your perspective, like? Do you get overstimulated at all?

I wear headphones on the daily whenever I go somewhere so I can block out the like noises that cause overstimulation. But, whenever I go shopping (which I adore because I can get novels or physical media to listen to music), I end up not having the ability to stay in the same store for extended periods of time because I’ll get overstimulated and plead to go home. How do you guys experience shopping?

I do NOT like musical Heather McNamara.

MOVIE McNamara is perfectly fine, she’s pretty and is on the same scale as the other heathers (even though I will fight for Duke). But, musical McNamara..? I do not like her. I DESPISE her every single being. She can GO in that lifeboat i don’t seriously care what happens to musical Mcnamara. ”you’re being too harsh and just don’t know her!”, “you‘re only saying this because you like Duke”. NO! I’m saying this because the musical ruined her character so bad to the point she’s a whiny brat who’s unlikable.

I think this stems from the way the musical innocent-izes her. They make her the “nice Heather” and discard all the depth from the movie that made her tolerable. Like, how Mcnamara tells Veronica to haul her rear-end to the cafeteria pronto and tells Duke to back her up in the movie—that gave McNamara an upper hand in a way cause it shows how Chandler trusts her. But the musical made it Duke who tells Veronica that? Like I’m judging. And then they do all this “lifeboat lonely die” stuff and I’m just like…ummm no? Like, I get the metaphor—I’ve been in the ”weakest on the lifeboat” position multiple times in my life. But with McNamara...it just feels weird along with the mischaracterization. NO I’m not doubting Mcnamara’s suicidal thoughts. I feel for her on that. But the entire lifeboat song makes me cringe so badly. “And the captain is shouting who made her captain”. Like girl shut up, please. You were fine until you did this whiny stuff. And then the “shine a light reprise” makes it all fall apart. I just hate what they did to her character and I wish that they just made her the way the movie portrayed her.

if any McNamara stans come for me I’ll be fine I promise.

Playing Uno with Taylor.

context of the meme is basically like “would you rather do this _______ [let an artist have a #1 spot on the charts in this context] or draw 25 cards” The person would rather draw 25 cards than do the other option.

I was diagnosed with autism at three years old and entered school with twenty-seven speech errors. I’ve been recently working on the ‘TH’ voiced and voiceless sound with the speech teacher at school and I strongly believed that I would never gain the ability to pronounce ‘TH’ correctly. On Saturday Night, though, my mom informed me that my IEP was updated and I do not qualify for speech services anymore. This is something I never thought would happen and I feel so proud of myself!!!!
