Happy 100th birthday to the late voice actor Stan Freberg, who provided the voices of several Looney Tunes characters, including Pete Puma, Juyner Bear, Bertie, and more. Here's a collection of some of the most notable characters he voiced for Warner Bros
Stan Freberg (August 7, 1926 - April 7, 2015) was an actor, singer, and entertainer that was known for his radio satires. He was also notable for being a recurring voice actor for the Looney Tunes series. Fans will probably know him best as the voice of Pete Puma, the idiotic foe that went up against Bugs Bunny in Rabbit's Kin (1952). Other notable characters voiced by Freberg include Baby Bear (from Chuck Jones' Three Bears cartoons), Tosh of the Goofy Gophers, Bertie the Mouse, Chester, and a few other minor characters.
Freberg was almost always uncredited for his vocal performances much like all of the alternative voice actors not named Mel Blanc. As a result, his work at Warner Bros is often overlooked. Despite this, he would actually go onto voice several of his characters well beyond the Golden Age, even as far as 2003. His final vocal role related to Looney Tunes was Baby Bear in 2003's Looney Tunes: Back in Action. He passed away in 2015, making him one of the longest-surviving voice actors from the original shorts.

Today is also the 127th birthday of Arthur Q. Bryan, who is best known being the original voice of Elmer J Fudd.
Elmer is one of the few characters in the original Looney Tunes shorts who wasn't regularly voiced by Mel Blanc. His voice was provided by Arthur Q. Bryan from his first "official" appearance in Elmer's Candid Camera, all the way until Bryan's death in 1959.
As a piece of bonus trivia, Elmer's temporary "fat" redesign was actually based on Bryan's physical appearance
Today is Bob Clampett's 113th birthday. Clampett is best known for being the creator of Tweety, Beaky Buzzard, and Goofy Gophers, and for devloping characters such as Porky and Daffy. His cartoons are known for their zany energy and expressive characters. Arguably the "looniest" director of them all
