Not too shabby for paint pens.
I don't really paint but I draw and I wanted to see if I could follow a Bob Ross video. I had to take some creative liberties, but I'm happy with it. It's on a small index card about 2.5 x 4 in.
Hi all, I I'm not sure where else to go and I really need advice. I want to preface by saying I appreciate this sub very much, and have tried using the self measurement tips here before. they were really helpful, but it's almost like nothing fits right anymore no matter how accurate I am with the measurements. (I put my measurements at the bottom of this post), the last time I went to get professionally fitted for a bra was in 2023. It turned out to be a nightmare and the people in the shop all but told me they can't help "people like me." If they were mean to me then, I can't even begin to wonder how they'll treat me now. They looked at me like I was from another planet. And I know not everyone's like that, but I just don't know who to go to at this point. I haven't had a bra that fits me properly in at least 3 years, and I am in a lot of pain.
My body shape is really odd. I'm 30, have lost 50 pounds in the last few years, and closer to 100 lb in the last decade. Before losing weight, I was probably a 38-42 DD/DDD, depending on brand. Now I'm not so sure. My last few runs with the calculator showed a 36-38H, but any bras I bought in that size have not been very supportive. I've tried balconets, zip-ups, underwires, almost everything, but it's like trying to fill a balloon with water; a lot of substance but zero ability to hold shape. I also have EDS, so my skin is really stretchy and...I have a LOT of loose skin. EDS makes it so that it does not bounce back into shape well at all. Over the last year I have gone to the gym a lot and focused on muscle building alongside physical therapy. That is successful, I'm really really strong now, which I'm proud of, but it still doesn't help the loose skin all over my body. A good example is when I flex, I can see all of my muscle definition and my breasts just look like sad drips of wax on a half melted candle.
Because of this, my breasts have no shape, they're just loose tubes that hang down to my bellybutton. It's causing a lot of upper back and shoulder problems, on top of an already separated right shoulder and unstable joints. Even my PT is trying to send me to other people because she can't help a lot with this issue other than to give advice on exercises. But as you guys know, the healthcare system *anywhere* is pretty slow and I need to do something in the meantime.
I've been wearing ill-fitting sports bras for a year now, and they are really painful. But they're also the only thing that's been able to hold everything in place. I think the one I'm wearing now is called an Yvette high impact sports bra. It zips up in the front. I don't mention the pain lightly; I have a really high pain tolerance and get in trouble because of it frequently (more parts of my body are screwed together then I'd like to admit). this issue has been going on for years and I've just been dealing with it bc I thought that was my only option. Does anyone have recommendations for relatively non-judgmental places I can go to get fitted or companies/stores that make bras for unconventional bodies?

ETA: I accidentally typed G instead of H for bra size. Calculator gave me 38H.
Just sharing this handsome fella.
Game is called No Man's Sky if anyone was curious.
Hi all, I was curious if anyone here had insight on my situation. I interviewed for a position last Wednesday and it went great. I have not heard from them since, so I sent a follow-up today. The person I heard back from didn't happen answer, but said the hiring team is discussing next steps and will let me know details as they arise. Wasn't a yes, wasn't a no. Is this a good sign? I can't tell
Hi all. I have been slowly tapering off Clonazepam for the last year. I was prescribed it over a decade ago when I was still a teenager. The doctor never told me it was supposed to be a temporary medication or that it had long lasting side effects. I've since switched psychiatrists.
A year and a half ago, I accidentally tapered too quick and had to go back on my dose to stabilize. This time around, I was able to get from 2 mg at night to .75 over the course of a year. Well, I got mixed up when I moved from 1mg tablets to .5 mg tablets and tapered down a half mg instead of .25 like I have been doing. (The tablet itself is a smaller dose). I know it's not the strongest dose in the world, but a .5 mg jump compared to .25 hit me hard. (I was supposed to go from .75 mg to .5 mg, but I *actually* jumped from .75 mg to .25 mg mg). Once I realized what I did, I had been on the wrong dose for a week and a half. And I realized why I felt so *awful*
That said, I was over the hump of it, so I just kept on going and didn't jump back up to .75 mg. I felt a lot better the last few days. But I woke up this morning and it felt like how I was feeling last Wednesday. Genuinely awful. Anyone have any tips on how to roll with the random increase in withdrawal symptoms? I tried researching it, but I don't seem to find a lot of information about people whose symptoms got better and then worse.
My husband got him a little hat and oh my God it's killing me how cute it is.
New trick unlocked. Yellow bandana acquired.
ETA: idk why "free bird" is playing in the background 🤣😭
