I really really *REALLY* want this spell to work. No I'm not giving you ANY details except that it was a candle spell and it won't stay lit???!? Is it going to backfir!?!? Tiktok witches said this was all I needed and intention! I didn't think jt was enough. So I dumped a bunch of dried herbs and spices [[totally in sync with what I'm casting, I checked with ChatGPT]] and now my candle WONT LIT AT ALLLLLLL1!!1!1!!
What am I doing wrong!? Am I going to be curse!
I think I asked too much of the candle but I don't know! Is it pverloaded???.

I've been building up to re-enter magick in general, over the full moon I decided to dive head-first.
I would \*really\* like to preface this by saying, I've been a practitioner for a decade or so, just been dormant for a few. Elaborate setups are not necessary, I actually had 80%+ of this in my home, the candles, with a new employ, were free. \[\[I am a candlemaker for our local Occult Shop\]\]
I built an altar for the 4 I decided to/was drawn to work with. The ritual went very well from what I could feel.

Ill try to keep this brief; years ago, when reconciling with my ex, we performed a ritual to Baphomet, partially as "proof" to my devotion, but it was also how he manipulated me back into a relationship.For these rituals, he lied through his teeth about how he found the information, etc, but is a pathological liar so he was able to "convince" me. I was quite literally in fear for my life, so I didn't press as much as I should.
Now, during these few rituals, I created a wax doll which contains parts from both of us, as well as a fox skull which was "concecrated".
I wholeheartedly believed I was doing this for Baphomet.. we have since broken up and these tools have rested dormant since. [[Also questioning since stumbling on texts that Baphomet isn't really in the Daemon Heirarchy either]]
Knowing now that his intentions were all lies, but mine were true.. would using these tools in current rituals be a bad idea? Would a cleanse be enough?
I'm not a newby to the craft, but I am certainly uncertain of how to proceed with these...

I'm starting to come around in what feels like the life I wanted to live again and that includes getting back into the craft. I was just curious what some of you do to incorporate a little extra step of magic in your daily?
For extra context, I'm looking for physical like stirring intentions into coffee, studying the tea leaves, grounding oneself by burying your hands in rice, etc
Meditation is great an all but I have ADHD, it's not something i can sit down and do everyday nor do I gave the spoons to do so, so not really something that's useful to me rn.
