Funeral home to repatriation a deceased from Athens to Canada Muslim way

My father is in the ICU and doctors don't have a lot of hope for him, I am hoping for the best planning for the worst.

I am planning the repatriation of his body back to Canada if we get the call from the hospital, and I have been in contact with a few funeral homes, some are quoting me close to 5k and others 15K euros. I would like to have the repatriation to be as close as possible to the Muslim way ( I do recognize that I cannot get around embalming). My question is how do I know which funeral homes are legit and how do I know they're not going to increase the price halfway through the process. Any help is very much appreciated

Embalming process and Islam repatriation Greece to Canada

I am not sure how to approach this, and want to know if embalming is a must to fly a deceased person from Greece to Canada. Also how does the embalming process work and if it's accepted in Islam. My father is in the ICU in Greece and doctors are telling us he is in a very critical situation, I hope he recovers, but if not I would like to prepare for the worst

I bought my house a year ago, but checking Property Online it seems an old mortgage still shows. 6 months ago, I reached out to the lawyer that helped me purchase the house and he said it is normal, as these things take months to get discharged. I am not sure if this normal and what I can do to make sure the old mortgage gets discharged/no longer shows
