So… Am I the only one who found Bode EXTREMELY suspicious at the beginning and throughout the game? He just… appeared and is mysteriously the only one who survived who wasn’t a Jedi (all the others that died were regulars guys, gals n aliens, he’s just a regular dude to me). Secondly, he encouraged things that weren’t supported by the Jedi order (no blasters and no relations) when he knows Cal is a Jedi. Finally at every mention of wanting to bring the Anchorithes or The. Path to Tanlorr he just didn’t want to bring them. I can’t say I was surprised when he turned his back on Cal, though him being a force user was a surprise.

Ok so, in X8, Lumine says that “We new generation Reploids can choose to go Maverick at will”. Which is… not something that’s new. The X1 cast were all Maverick Hunters before they broke bad (their reasons are explained in MHX), some of X2’s cast were also Maverick Hunters prior to turning Maverick (based on Maverick Hunter guidebook, which might be non-canon) and Magma Dragoon chose to turn Maverick to fight X and Zero.

In short: Old Reploids could also go Maverick at will. It’s not something new.

Basically the title, but if you want an example:
“Yeah, I loved it when Zero turned evil and killed everyone in the classic cast”.
Doesn’t necessarily have to be something someone/large portion of people say.

I don't really like the ending of SF3. Is it nice that Geo reunited with his dad? Is it nice that Ace seemingly came back to life? Yeah, but do we really need that to have a ''happy'' ending. The ending feels pretty happy without both of them. Geo saved earth from Crimson Dragon, a planet ending threat. I think that should be enough no?

I got lots of bullets, bought the 20K suit upgrade, learned to save ammo by using kinesis and got upgrade LVL1 for Plasma Cutter. I am finally in a “I can survive this” state and with money if I need to buy Plasma Cutter ammo. I am at chapter 6 after dealing with the wheezers.

So I stated playing the game and I'm at chapter 6 right now. I'm only upgrading the Plasma Cutter (almost unlocked special upgrade 1 and unlocked special upgrade 2), I don't use the other weapons and sell their ammo. I don't know if the game is supposed to be like this (extremely high prices to have a slow progression), but I often feel broke. I couldn't find most sub-missions unfortunately and I hate that since I like the game and can't seem to find them. Either way, the game is fun, actually scary and I do love the plot. Bonus points: Hammond is lowkey-sus, would slime Mercer if possible, no way Nicole is alive (the lab is destroyed and Necromorphs can look like humans, and CEC sounds like an evil corpo.

Blade, Medley and Hash's stage are some of if not the hardest stages in the game.
Hopefully I don't throw my controller to the wall.

What is your favourite/most used Gravity Circuit build (by that I mean: the chips you equip, the burst techniques you equip and the palette chip you equip)?
My favourite build is:

Chips:
- Energy absorber
- Energy multiplier
- Dodge slider

Burst techniques:
Neutral/standing: Hardware barrier
Left/Right: Gravity dash
Up: Ice platforms
Down: Function overload

Palette chip: Heroic red

Why: I can go fast, real fast and do skips (using Gravity dash). I get the benefits from using the Speedy teal palette chip and air jumper while obtaining massive amounts of energy. I do use different techniques for bosses, though the chips stay the same (using dodge slider as an evasive tools or to get past enemies in stages).

Basically the title, need help to build a nice deck for PVP.

(Note: I haven’t played the story mode in a while, I have only played in Speedrun mode after I first beat it so my theories can/will probably be disproven).

Drop your thoughts/theories as well, if you want.

Theory A: The story takes place before the first virus war and they are trying to fight back against invaders. Evidence: Kai (or Nega with the Gravity Circuit since they share the same design) and Cable working together (I doubt that Cable would work with Kai after the events of the first game) and the other robots having a lot of crystals on their bodies (meaning that they could be coming from outer space).

Theory B: The story takes place after Gravity Circuit and Cable is brought back trough Cyberspace shenanigans and put in a copy body (similar to the Mega Man X/Zero series, which Gravity Circuit is inspired by) and Kai needs his help to help beat the invaders. Evidence (Honestly, none. Cable is probably forced to work with Kai since Kai did beat him in the last game).

Theory C: The new robots are powered by gems. Evidence: Their designs incorporate gems and Kai takes a gem to power himself up seemingly.

Theory D: The game takes place after the events of the first game and the circuits have turned over a new leaf and decided to get normal jobs (explaining why they are not present with Kai and Cable).

I never found Cooler as interesting as people make him up to be. He’s just a Freeza clone. He’s not really smart either. Could’ve just used a supernova to destroy earth (not like there’s something important to him other than “restore his clan’s honour” which he could’ve done from space or when he hit Goku (which made him stay in a cave for a good portion of the movie).
His second form has a nice design, though it’s the only thing that makes him popular (never heard someone say “first form/ Metal Cooler>Second form” and is the form they chose for Fighter Z).
