First of all I apologize im sure you see posts like this all the time. But I am 16 and just trying to plan ahead, I think im wanting to enlist for the national guard when im 17, for the family benefits and the home loan. I know i have to stick with it for 6 years, to get the home loan. but am i allowed to keep health insurance and stuff even if I quit after 6 years? And will I still get those veteran discount things I see at stores? Another note, I still have no idea what i want to do for my main career! I was planning on this giving me an extra 6 years to try and decide what I would want to do. Tennessee already has a state loan that approves you tuition for a community college/trade school so im not too worried if I dont really need the guard but the main thing i want is the family benefits. And why does planet fitness not have as many free weights? My planet fitness only free weights are the dumbbells section. That is it. The bench/squat is a Smith machine, and everything else seems to be cardio. But i just cant seem to understand the benefit of using one machine for one muscle when you can use a free weight and target most muscle.
