Cass and Damian banter (Robin 2021 #15)

Cass shows up briefly in Damian’s solo series to tease that she would have won the tournament on Lazarus Island instead of Damian if she was around. So a slight update to confirm that they are on more easy terms than Gates of Gotham, New52, etc. Also Steph definitely not a vegetarian!

Only ever crumbs here but still so much potential for stories!

I miss midnight snacks and chats between Babs and Cass (Batgirl 2000s)

Before being her protégé, Cass was Bab’s friend and courier. I know there have been team ups like Batgirls and BoP, but I really hope someone gets to write more character stories of them hanging out together one on one specifically.

Well, she is Bruce’s daughter (Batman Gotham Knights #42)

At this point she can speak so she’s just taking “money talks” too literally and learning from her dear old dad.
From when Alfred contracted the contagion.

So that’s where they went! (Barbara Gordon: Breakout #1)

So even though Cass and Dick weren’t in Batman #9, they were both a part of the planning meeting, meanwhile the folks that did show up in Batman #9 (except Bruce) were absent. I’m guessing Dick and Cass, being Babs’ closest people in the family are part of some other component of the plan.

Re-reading No Man’s Land and damn, no writer was ever going to be able to create a New 52 version that could top Cass’ original batgirl ceremony with speeches by Bruce and Barbara.

That said, dang it Alfred you were in charge of decorating the Manor!
Alfred and Cass is one of the more under recognized family dynamics.

Also the second Cass cave being connected to a large network of subway lines and sewer tunnels for fast travel is another cool detail that would have been nice if they utilized it more.
