What ND Filters to buy for DJI Mini 5 Pro?

I'm new to drones, just received my first one today. This bundle was on sale on B&H for $950 so I bought it, however, I believe the only thing this Bundle didn't come with were the shoulder bag & ND Filters.

I see there are a bunch of different brands of ND Filters. Is it better to just go for the DJI branded one, or is there something better out there? Or does it not matter at all? Any recommendations?

Will I still get paid if I quit on my route early, even before my first stop?

My first stop today was a little over 40 minutes away from the station. On my way there, when I had about 15 minutes left before my first stop, it started thunderstorming super hard. The storm looked like it was also headed in the same direction as my route. So I stopped on the side of the road to tell Chat Support that I don't think I can do my route. They said they'll mark all my packages (32 total) as undeliverable & for me to take them back to the station. So I asked if I'll still be paid, & they just kept giving me the same copy/paste reply, saying something like "At this time we cannot determine that or guarantee that you will be paid."

So I was just wondering, has anyone else gone through something similar & still got paid? What scares me is, on my way back, it had already stopped raining, however that's in the opposite direction of where the storm & my route was heading. And the storm was pretty bad, I came across Public Works & police using a crane to lift trees off the road.

Where to get perms in Chicago for Asian men?

I live in Milwaukee, WI, and for the past year or so, I've been struggling to find anyone that does perms here for Asian men. I first got it done in Vegas almost 2 years ago, & then I did it again while I was on a trip in Thailand last October.

Can't find any places in Milwaukee, so I figure my chances of finding one in Chicago will be way better. Please let me know. Thank you!

Places to jog/run in Chiang Mai?

Visiting Thailand soon & I'm looking for places to jog/run in Chiang Mai. I'm staying a little Southeast of the Phae Gate, so preferably anywhere close to there, if there are any places.

Also wondering, is it's considered rude to run on the sidewalks/streets in Thailand? I usually go for runs early in the morning, like 5am-6am, so people might not even be around at those times, but just don't want to be rude.

How to deal with a Mom who still treat you like a child?

Sorry, long rant.

So just some context first: I'm in my early 30s, I'm the youngest & a male. My Father passed away when I was just a little kid. Mom eventually got remarried & has been with my Stepdad ever since.

My Mom still constantly acts like I'm a child & tries to baby me. Might sound harsh, but it really pisses me off. It's eating me up mentally. I think about it so often. I constantly rehearse in my mind things I want to say to her, but it's also difficult because I don't speak our language well & she might not fully understand some English stuff. I'm not sure what to do or how to handle this. I've even thought about going to therapy just to figure out how to deal with it, but don't really want to spend money.

I worry the way she treats me will hurt any of my future relationships with a women, like she's going to try & get in between us too much, or be too overprotective over me, etc. & I'm sure most women hate it when a man is constantly babied by their Mom.

I've moved away from my parent's home to be on my own about 4-5 years ago, not even far, maybe like 30 minutes away. She calls me everyday, most of the time she'll start to cry & say she misses me, despite still seeing each other like a couple times a month. It's like she has some major attachment issues. I purposely ignore her calls sometimes, because I'm tired of it. She tries to guilt trip me by saying things like "I love you a lot, you might not love me, but I love you."

Whenever I travel, she is always against it. For example, one of my closest friends had a destination wedding a few years ago overseas, & my Mom kept saying "I'm not letting you go." I still went anyways.

Another time, me & all my siblings planned an overseas trip a few years ago as well. One day we met up to plan it during a family gathering. All my siblings are married except for me. So we were talking about lodging & I planned on staying at a different hotel from my Siblings, because I've been there before & really liked that hotel. And my Mom was like "What? No, he can't get his own hotel, he has to sleep with one of you guys!" Like omg, it's so embarrassing for me that she would say something like that in front of all my sister in laws & brother in laws. I'm a grown ass man & she still wants me to sleep with my siblings as if I was a little kid.

Over a month ago, I went to my parent's house, I didn't go with the intentions of confronting her about how I feel. But she kept pushing my buttons, so I eventually said "Mom, you need to know that you don't have any kids anymore! You're old, I'm already old, stop acting like I'm still a kid." She responded with "I know, I know, you think I don't know that you're not a kid anymore?" And I replied with "Then why are you still acting like I'm a kid? You won't let me do this, you won't let me do that." Then she started acting dumb, saying "I never said any of that."

So I just dropped the convo right there, because I didn't want to get any angrier. However, after this convo we had, she did stop calling me for like a month, until we saw each other again at another family gathering. Idk how to deal with this, & I'm afraid it's just going to keep bottling up & eventually come out in a harsher way. I don't want to be the bad guy here. Maybe my Dad passing away when I was a kid has something to do with why she babies me so much? Maybe she feels bad about that? But Idk man, I'm so tired of it. I want to be free from this so bad.

I got restricted & don't even know why

I started Prolific back in January & got restricted today. So I submitted an appeal & got hit with this just now, "this outcome is final and cannot be reversed."

Then they listed these reasons why an account may become restricted.

  1. Using VPNs or other tools to misrepresent your location

  2. Seek the assistance of other persons, tools, or automations such as bots, LLMs and scripts in order to complete studies

  3. Create multiple accounts or share an account with another person

  4. Provide false information about your identity, location, or experience

  5. Create multiple accounts, or falsely change account information, or inaccurately represent who you are, where you are located, or your experience

  6. Attempt to register to Prolific after closing or deleting a previously registered account

  7. Manipulate or exploit the platform, tools, or instructions to gain an unfair advantage or inflate rewards

  8. Regularly providing poor-quality or low-effort responses to studies

  9. Failing our identity verification procedure

I have not done any of these things before. Since starting in January, I've had 4 rejects. Is that enough to get restricted? Also, this happened last night after it asked me to verify my identity by scanning a QR code using my phone, then it verified me using my phone camera. I've never had to do that before aside from when I first joined. I was thinking, maybe it thought I was a different person? Maybe my hair looks different? Maybe the lighting was bad? Idk, but this sucks. It was great making money in your free time.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Best movie theater in Bangkok?

I will be in Bangkok during time when the new Spiderman movie releases, so I want to go watch it while I'm there.

I've seen a lot of reels of Bangkok theaters, & a lot of them look super nice & luxurious! So I guess it would be a cool one time experience to go to one of those nice ones. Also, how/where to purchase tickets in advance?

Nice places to run/jog in MKE?

I want to start running as a new hobby, for exercise aside from just lifting weights, so I'm looking for nice places to run.

Anywhere is fine, but would really like to run anywhere along the lake. Is there anywhere around there with free parking? Also, would most likely be running before work, so whenever the sunrises, 5am-7am.

Where to play basketball?

I'm coming to Chiang Mai next month. Are there any places where people go to play basketball in Chiang Mai? Whether it's indoors or outdoors? Just mainly looking for places to shootaround, & possibly play others for fun. Whether its locals or other foreigners.

I got bit by a dog. What to do next?

Been doing Flex for 4 years & got bit today, for my first time surprisingly. It was a long driveway & the garage was covering the front door, so as soon as I turn the corner to the front door, I saw 2 loose dogs. One small dog & one medium size goldendoodle (the one that bit me). They started barking & were blocking my way going to the entrance, so the owner came out right away & grabbed the package. She was like, "Don't worry they're good dogs." However, both were barking but the goldendoodle was very aggressive, kept jumping on me. The lady was trying to control them but couldn't, & while walking back to my car the goldendoodle bit me on my left butt cheek. I didn't react to it at that moment, didn't want to cause a scene & I was running late. So I'm not sure if the lady saw it bite me, she might not even know it happened, but then she finally grabbed it & put it in her car so that I can walk back to my car. I know, pretty stupid of me to not speak up at that time. 😞

I made sure to screenshot their address. I finished the rest of my deliveries. Came home & took pics of the wound, took a pic of the holes in my clothes, & washed the wound. It's a small bite mark with minimal bleeding. It looks like two small scratches. I called Amazon Support & they escalated it, & said I should receive a call back within the next 12hours, so I'm waiting on that right now. What else should I do? Should I go to Urgent Care? The thing is, I don't want to go & then Amazon suddenly calls me while I'm there. Will I be reimbursed for what I pay at Urgent Care? Also, should I report this to the police? Is it too late to report it? This happened in Port Washington, Wisconsin if that information matters. It's like a new built neighborhood on the countryside.

Any reputable sneaker cleaning/restoring services in MKE?

I'm looking to get some of my sneakers deep cleaned, to the point where they could look as close to brand new as possible. I know resell shops in other cities tend to have this service, especially when they do buyouts & clean the sneakers before putting them up for sale.

Which combination would you choose?

I want to get into the DJI Osmo Pocket cameras and DJI Mini drones. To save a little bit of money, I'm thinking of buying the previous version of one & the newest version of the other. Which combination would you choose?

Combo 1: Osmo Pocket 4 and the Mini 4 Pro

Combo 2: Osmo Pocket 3 and the Mini 5 Pro

Some sidenotes: I have never owned a drone before, so it would be my first. And I currently film using the Sony ZV-E10 II, but I want the Osmo Pocket as my secondary camera & for when I don't feel like taking my ZV-E10, since it's more portable.

Has anyone from Milwaukee had a route to Madison recently?

I thought they stopped making us go to Madison? I haven't had a Madison route in so long, been maybe a year now, so I assumed they stopped. And then last night I got hit with a Madison route. Man it sucked, took about 1.5hrs to get there with traffic, had about 50 packages, & the pay wasn't even great for having to go that far. Usually with that block (4.5hr/$101.50), I'd end up in Washington & Ozaukee county area only.
