Hoping yall could keep an eye out for this while out thrifting?

I’m not sure if this is appropriate for this sub but I thought I’d give it a try! My mother with Alzheimer’s broke her purse. It had issues before that we were able to repair but she’d worn it every day for at least 15 years and it was to the point of no return. Well…it was my brothers day to stay with her and he THREW IT AWAY. ON TRASH DAY OF ALL DAYS😫 Needless to say, I am now on the hunt for one. We did try a similar one I found at Walmart but she knows the difference. She said it “fit her perfectly no other bag has or will”. I have found some leads online but they don’t actually link to the actual product. I don’t shop a lot online so maybe im doing it wrong? lol. But if yall could keep your eyes peeled for this purse when you’re out thrifting I would appreciate it so much! I found this one online that’s a camel color but hers was a slightly shiny black. It’s made by Hogan. I don’t have a lot to spend but if you find it I will pay you for your time and however much it costs plus shipping.

I feel it’s a needle in a haystack kind of thing but I thought what the heck there may be one on the shelf at a thrift store across the country for $10 that I’ll never find it myself but someone else might! Condition isn’t a huge factor as long as the straps on on it😂 or if you have seen one online could you send it to me? If you have a link to make money from it send it I’m happy to make sure you get the commission! Thank you all in advance!

Japanese > English potters mark

Hello! I found this beautiful bowl clearing out my grandmas house. I noticed it has a mark or signature on it. I did try google lens but it told me something different each time so I thought I’d see if anyone here has any ideas? Each time I asked it agreed it’s Japanese but that’s all I know. I’d love to know more about it! Thank you in advance🩷

Is this a new change to order types?

I’m home today and not sparking because I’m covered in poison ivy that’s on my face so I can’t see a dang thing. I thought I’d place an order for a few things and noticed these options for delivery. $2.95 to get it in up to 3 hours? Has it been this way and I haven’t noticed?

What is the best path forward to fix the damage the dentist caused my daughters teeth

My daughter went to the dentist yesterday for a routine exam where they found a small cavity between her two front teeth. When we got home she looked in the mirror and noticed basically a triangle of her two front teeth missing. She was very upset. It’s her senior year, she starts school tomorrow and she has senior pictures in a month.

I called my ex husband who I refer to as “the complaint department” because he’s not nearly as meek as I am lol. He took her back up there, the dentist was gone but they made an appointment for today to fix it. My question is, how can this be permanently fixed? In my mind just as a layperson wouldn’t bonding chip off at some point? Especially if being on the bottom of her two front teeth?

I just want to go into the appointment today with a little bit of information to help me make sure she’s getting the right treatment. I tried to get a better picture of what they look like now but that’s as good as I got lol. They actually look worse without her trying to hide them with her lips. The other photo is a zoomed in photo from just last Friday. Any ideas?? And also how does this even happen? And how was it not noticed? They took before and after X-rays. I would think they would notice?

ULPT Request how to hide money from the government

What are some ways I can put money or assets away for my kids that the government wouldn’t know about? I’m not taking big money, no millions of dollars, probably hundreds the way things are going lol. I just don’t want the little bit I might have at the end of my life taken by the government if I’m put in a nursing home. I don’t own a home so they can’t take that at least. When my parents passed there was nothing left for my siblings and I. I don’t want to do that to my kids😞 I don’t know why this is bothering me so much today I hope I live a long time I just get in these moods sometimes😂

What kind of wire is this?

Hello! I am trying to figure out what kind of wire I have here. I have an elderly neighbor who sometimes asks me to list things on marketplace for him. He called me over to look at this because he wants to sell it. I was kinda happy because it’s something that might actually sell this time. I have no idea what I’m looking at here. The words written on it might as well be hieroglyphics I have zero idea what it means. As my daughters would say “I’m just a girl😅”. I guess we could sell it as is, I’m not sure if I have the want to to strip it considering I get paid with bottled strawberry Fanta😂 I did try the ai on google but it’s telling me there couldn’t be that much wire on the spool to weigh what it’s saying so I thought I’d ask some folks who know. Thank you so much!

What vehicle information is taken for an accident report?

I got a letter in the mail today telling me I needed to send in paperwork for my claim due to a car accident in June. My memory isn’t what it should be but I think I’d remember being in an accident lol.

I called the adjuster and told her I think they have the wrong person/vehicle. It was indeed my vehicle listed on the report but someone else was driving it. It truly was not my car😂 My question is when an officer takes a report after an accident do they list the vin number and make/model? The adjuster said maybe there was a typo with the vin but what are the odds of two of the same year/make/model cars with different vins?

I haven’t been in an accident in decades thank the lord so I have no idea what’s on a police report. Apparently it was a 6 car accident about 90 minutes away from where I live. I very rarely leave my little rural town. The adjuster seemed a little puzzled and concerned but said she’d get back to me and let me know what she found out. It just makes no sense to me!

Question real quick so I don’t electrocute myself😅

I need to clean out the drain pipe for my air conditioner. I’m embarrassed to say it took me a little longer than it should have to figure out where it was lol. I was thrown off because there are wires coming out of it. Apparently it something that is supposed to let me know if it’s stopped up but I’m guessing it failed since my whole furnace closet is damaged. Last night I looked at it for a while and now I think I have a plan but I’m honestly scared to death of electricity.

On my panel box outside I have a breaker for the a/c which I’m assuming is the unit outside and one that includes the furnace. If I turn both of those off, there should not be any electricity to the wires in the pipe, correct? I feel like the answer is yes I just need someone who actually knows how this stuff works to tell me it’s ok😂 I was shocked once as a kid and I still haven’t forgotten it😂

Can’t find drain pipe😅

Please bear with me, I have no idea what I’m doing😂 after spending some time googling I think I’ve figured out what’s wrong but I can’t find the drain pipe to clean it out😂

My air filter has been getting soaked, according to my search it is likely from a stopped up drain pipe (if I’m wrong please let me know). Cleaning it out seems pretty straightforward but I’m not sure where it’s at. There’s only that one pvc pipe in the closet and there are wires going into it. Am I missing something I’m supposed to be seeing?

Any help would be great! I feel a little ashamed I can’t figure it out because my dad ran his hvac business for over 45 years but I guess I never paid attention to literally anything. You’d think I’d at least be able to ID the dang drain pipe😂I bet he’s rolling over in his grave right now😂

What happens when you ask for an increase in child support?

I am wondering if anyone has any experience with going back in to have child support increased in Texas and what that process is like.

My kids dad and I divorced in 2019. I haven’t asked for any increases or anything since then. Mainly because he doesn’t always pay; he’s ordered to pay $500 a month for two kids (my own fault for not asking for more) and he’s over $35k behind. But the last couple of years he’s started making a lot more money in his work. He’s also now in a band (that he got into at 55…but whatever😂) that is making money. I have struggled to make ends meet since before we divorced but I honestly didn’t want to deal with him and go through the process of asking for a change.

But now our girls are 15 & 17, I’ve already had to add one to my car insurance, the other will need to be added this month. They are both very active at school so that costs a fortune. If you have kids you know what I mean. For some reason I thought they got easier and cheaper as they got older but boy was I WRONG😂 anyway…I have been mulling over going back in to have the support looked at again. Plus the oldest will be out of school next year so it’ll need to be adjusted for that anyway.

But here’s what’s bothering me and the main reason for this post. I’m embarrassed. I’m embarrassed that I make and have so little money. Especially compared to him and his fiancé. (I divorced him and have no desire for that man so it’s not that kind of envy. Plus he’ll bankrupt her before too long just like he did me and the woman before me lol). Everything I make goes to taking care of my kids. There’s nothing left. Because I can’t afford to buy my oldest a car I have to drive them back and forth to and from school so I can’t do an 8-5. So I work 4 different part time jobs. Which I like, though. We’re in a rural area without bus service so it’s an hour trip twice a day. I do want to clarify though that our kids have everything they need they aren’t suffering that’s for sure 😂 so thats not what I’m worried about. That just comes down to if they need something that means I add 5 more hours to the 50-60 I’m already working a week. And honestly I’m kinda tired I’m an old lady for goodness sake😫😂

I don’t want to have to sit there with him hearing how little money I have just so he can feel superior. He already does when he’s sitting there with his brand new clothes and I’m wearing the same shirt I’ve worn for 10+ years. Or with his fresh haircut when I’ve trimmed my own hair in the bathroom for years because I can’t afford to pay someone to do it. I hope I’m making sense it’s hard to really put into words how I feel. What actually happens when you go in for an increase? I know he probably would have to show proof of his income (which he hides 80% of by cashing checks by the way…)but do I need to do the same? I feel like if I go ahead and do this even if I don’t get an increase maybe they’ll admonish him for not paying what he already owes and put a little fear in him.

We didn’t have lawyers for our divorce and I doubt we’ll need them now so I think we’d go through the AG’s office? I think I saw on a paper I got a few years ago that we’d go through mediation with the AG? If anyone has any experience going through this I would be so grateful for any information you have.
