This mornings macro walk was a big success and I captured this shot of a lady bug just waking up for the day.

Crazy how much a difference an angle changed made to the appearance of this fella

Both are the same Damselfly and both are stacked handheld

First shot is 106 shots and the second from under is 58

My boy was dead tired 🥹 his names aspen and I saved him a year ago now, use to be such a scrawny little boy back then 💙

Always such a heavy sleeper I'm definitely jealous of his ability to go down and stay down so quickly 🥹😍

By far the cutest Moth I've had the pleasure of photographing 🥹 thought I'd share here! ♥️

It was a productive journey of macro for me this month as the weather gets hotter and hotter it's making it harder to get out and enjoy macro as it's still 90+ degrees by very early morning 🥹 but I still managed quite a few shots and practiced lots as well as took one of my favorite ever shots (1)

Here are a handful of absolute favorites as of late.

If you have any questions about a particular shot ask away!

All were taken with Om1 mk2 + M.zuiko 60mm paired with the godox v860iii flash and AK diffuser.
