Helli everyone. I just realized I wasn't able to add signature on my previous submissions. Will it cause any penalties? Thank you for anyone who will answer.

Best Monitor for Engineering Design (AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, Point Cloud)?

Hello. I'm currently looking for a budget friendly monitor (below 25k) that I can use for work. I use Autocad Plant 3D, Navisworks, Point Cloud mostly. I'm not a techie person so I just did my research on google and it says that 4k monitors are great for this kind of work. I prefer 27inches monitor which I think 1440p is the sweet spot. I also don't want to give up the high refresh rate.

I'm currently looking into AOC and ASUS.

Wrong TIN on BIR 2307

Hello everyone. I'm a freelancer/professional in general.

I filed my quarterly tax on the first week of May, no tax due for this quarter since I availed the 8% option and my income haven't exceeded 250k yet. I have overpayment since my client withhold 5% of my income.

While I was compiling my attachments to submit to eAFS last May 15, I noticed that my client mistakenly input the wrong TIN to my BIR 2307.

Is it possible that the 5% they withheld wasn't filed under my name since mali yung nasa BIR 2307?

Ang problem ko rin is nasama ko na siya sa computation and sa SAWT.

My contract with them ended so I don't have any direct contact with them na but, I emailed them asking kung tama ba yung file nila sa BIR and they haven't replied pa so I can't submit my files pa sa eAFS. As far as I know naman, until May 30 pa yung submission sa eAFS.

Paano ba workaround dito?

If mali yung file nila, they need to amend that on their side right? Then I will not do anything na since I already included it na sa filing ko.

But if they decide to not fix it, do I amend my filing? Not include it?

Please help this human. Thank you

eAFS Submission

Hi everyone.

Just wanted to ask, I already filed my 1701Q and submitted the SAWT on esubmission email.

Although I already received the TCCR, I haven't received the validation email from esubmission.

What I usually do since last year is I submit my 1701Q, 2307s, SAWT file with the first email saying that I have submitted via email every 15th deadline. Then once I received the validation email, I submit the SAWT file with the validation email ALONE.

I just read that I am not allowed to do submitting pieces of those files and I need to submit it all at once. Is that true? Is it possible I already have open cases?

Thank you

Laptop for 3D Modelling and Drafting (Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, etc.)

Hi everyone.

I'm currently looking for a laptop that can support 3D modeling and drafting.

My previous company uses Dell with the specifications on the sttached photos.

We went to Megamall to check laptop and we got offered:

Lenovo Legion Pro 5 83LU0016PH

ACER Predator Helios Neo 16

ASUS ROG Strix G18

I think the internet says the minimum RAM should be 32GB so I plan to upgrade to 64GB just to make sure. Which of these would be the best choice?

I also saw on the internet that Thinkpads are better than Legion for professional engineers.

I know these are gaming laptops, but these are the ones that was offered to us when we asked about 3D modeling stuffs.

I also attached the specs of these laptops.

I don't want to relocate to my husband's hometown

Problem/Goal: I don't want to relocate to my husband's hometown

Context: Currently, my husband and I is located at my hometown. Dito na rin siya nagwowork even before pa ako manganak, 2 years old na yung baby namin so 2 years na kami dito nakatira. Nakabukod naman kami sa parents ko which is why peaceful naman yung buhay namin kasi kami lang sa bahay. Maganda work niya dito, kumikita siya most of the time ng 70k-80k monthly (sa province pa 'to so maganda na rin talaga, around south luzon). Nakabili na rin kami ng lupa dito which is malapit na matapos bayaran. Work from home ako as a independent consultant engineer. Then ngayon may JO ako sa isang Australian company, around 300k sweldo monthly. Baka ayaw niya dito magsettle down. Gusto niya sa kanila. Which is sa north. And nung tinanong ko siya, tama ako. Kasi wala daw kaming social life dito na sabay kami nakakapag-enjoy. I think isa yun sa reason bakit gusto niya sakanila. Kasi kapag nandun, mas may freedom daw kami. Kasi syempre family time. At isa ko pang concern is yung unfamiliarity, support system ko. Since hometown niya yun, family and friends niya lang kakilala ko. And parang hindi yun enough sakin. Work from home mom ako, for the most part feeling ko ma-iisolate ako at malulungkot kasi malayo na yung family or origin ko.

What should I write on my Service Invoice if I'm earning in $AUD?

When releasing my service invoice to my Australian Client, do I write in $AUD? How about in filing taxes? Do I file my income based on the exchange rate on the day I received the payment? Thanks.

Earning below 3M to earning above 3M

Hi everyone.

I opted for 8% at the start of the year kasi I earn below 3M as I was previously hired as independent consultant sa isang private sector here sa PH.

But recently, natapos na rin yung contract ko so I tried applying sa ibang company. I am currently in the process of being hired directly by an Australian company as a freelance/independent consultant. I will earn 300k per month so if magstart ako ng June, I think hindi pa naman siya mag-exceed unless mag-overtime ako sa work (I'm being paid an hourly rate of $40 AUD).

So I think until the end of year, hindi pa naman ako mag-exceed ng 3M so I plan to continue filing using 8% tax. But what if I happen to exceed by taking overtime sa banda banda diyan. I know hindi na ako pwede sa 8%, how do I file my taxes by then?

Please help. Thank you

Hi everyone. I'm an engineer specializing in AutoCAD Plant 3D. I can do 3d modelling, drafting and administration tasks. I'm currently residing in the Philippines but currently in the process of being hired by an engineering company in Australia. Direct hire, not outsourced by an agency or anything since I'm a registered freelancer/independent consultant myself.

They were asking about my hourly rate and I was actually not sure if I should ask for au rate or ph rate since I'm a direct hire. Au rates for engineers in australia starts 80,000 AUD yearly + superannuation, taxes. As we all know, engineer in the Philippines basically get around 40k only plus benefits. If I ask for au rate, I can get around 250k monthly, that I'm not sure is reasonable.

Is that reasonable as a direct hire by an AU company?

Hi everyone. Just wanted to ask, I was recently working on a private company here in the PH as an independent consultant/freelancer.

They collect 5% Withholding Tax monthly. I get that I can use that to claim tax credits when filing.

My contract ended this April, and I was offered another job by an Australian company. Do I have to pay taxes in Australia? Or here in the PH?

Thank you.

My options are Kindle Colorsoft, Kobo Libra Color, Kobo Clara Color, Boox Go Color 7 Gen II.

I've been thinking if I want the Boox because it is not tied down on a sole ecosystem since I wanted to get back to reading manhwa/manga but I'm afraid it's battery life is not as good as Kobo or Kindle because it runs Android.

I own a Kindle Basic Matcha and I can say, the battery life of kindle is actually really great especially if you turn on the airplane mode and turn off the wifi when not in use.

What do you guys think between these e-readers? Not sure if I actually want to annotate, I sometimes get super lazy but sometimes I also feel like annotating. Ugh the struggle.
