(De nuevo, disculpas si he preguntado algo irrelevante).

How is southern Argentina for a transgender family?

Hello everyone, my husband and I are exploring immigration options. We’d love to consult with you—and please bear with my questions, as our only experience with Argentina so far is limited to visits to Buenos Aires and Córdoba, and we simply fell in love with the country. We have two children and three dogs. My husband is an electrical engineer, and I am an early childhood educator specializing in special education. The thing is, I am a transgender woman (MTF); we know that, just like anywhere else in the world, there are specific places in Argentina that are better suited for a family with a transgender mother. We have a few questions, if that’s okay. 🙏🏻

*We know that Argentina isn't a snowy country, but the south gets a bit more snow in the winter; which parts of the south are transgender-friendly places to live?

*Are there dog thefts in these areas in the south of the country—or crime in general? (Apologies for asking if this violates the group's rules.)

Do earthquakes occur in these regions of Argentina? (Again, apologies if I asked something irrelevant.)

*What is education like in Argentina? (After all, if we choose Argentina, we’ll be arriving with our babies.)

Thanks to everyone who replied—this is a huge help. Once again, I apologize if I violated the group rules; if I did, it was unintentional, and I will ask the group admin to remove the post. 🙏🏻

Could this happen in workplaces in these countries?

First, I apologize if I am violating any group rules; if so, I ask the administrator to delete this post. I also want to thank those who commented on my previous post and helped inform our thinking. Following up on that post—where I mentioned that my husband and I are debating which Nordic country to immigrate to with our children and three dogs—we have narrowed down the list slightly (Finland, Denmark, Norway), with a slight preference for Finland and Norway. However, there is an issue we haven't really discussed yet, and I would like to ask about it. I mentioned that my husband is an electrical engineer and I am a teacher with a dual degree in early childhood education and early childhood special education. My husband—provided he has a bit of patience—shouldn't have trouble finding work in his field, given his experience; however, I am concerned that I won't get hired in my profession because I am transgender woman. Of course, I wouldn't mention this in job interviews, but it is noticeable in my voice—though not in my physical appearance—and people might draw conclusions. I don't mind if they find out, but it would really bother me if I were fired on a trumped-up pretext when the real reason was my gender identity. Could such a scenario happen in these countries? I would appreciate your help; this is a significant factor in our decision-making process.

Is St. John's suitable for a transgender family?

Hello everyone, my husband and I are coming to Canada in about three and a half months so that he can convert his electrician's license to a Canadian license and certificate. After that, we are looking for a permanent place to live and we are seriously considering three places and one of them is St. John's. I should mention that I am a transgender mtf and we are also in the surrogacy process and soon our family will expand.. We have a few questions if possible. How is St. John's for a family? , How is it for the +2LGBTQ community?, We are aware of the difficult employment situation in Newfoundland but we wanted to know if an electrician is a sought-after job there and in St. John's? And is a childcare worker a sought-after job? (This is my job as a childcare worker and childcare worker for special education)?

Thanks for the answers, it will be very helpful. 🙏🏻

How is Whitehorse for a transgender family?

So, my husband and I are considering a few places to immigrate to as an option (in a year and a half). We are renting an apartment first in New Brunswick for a year so he can convert his electrician license to Canadian, and from there we are considering long-term residency. Of course, all of this is done with the mediation and assistance of an immigration consultant. I should mention that I am also transgender, my husband and I are currently in the process of surrogacy and our family will be expanding soon. We would love to know the pros and cons of Whitehorse, specifically (where we are considering as an option), Is the city good for raising children, Is the city good for raising dogs (we have two dogs), Is the city good for the +2SLGBTQ community, how is the city in terms of general safety?

Territories/Provinces Recommended for a Transgender Family in canada

Hey everyone

So my husband and I are coming to New Brunswick in a few months for a year (he needs to convert his electrician's license to a Canadian license) and then we are considering where to move for a long-term stay. We are undecided between Yukon/NWT/Newfoundland. We would love to know which of the territories/provinces present would you recommend are the most recommended to us in terms of safety/acceptance of +2lgbtq/a good place to raise children (I didn't mention that we are currently in the surrogacy process and in two years our family will expand)/ and very importantly, a good place to raise dogs because we will arrive with our 2 dogs

Where in Canada is it safe?

Hi, my husband and I are planning to move to Canada and would like to hear opinions about certain provinces from some options that the immigration consultant gave us. The options are New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia and Yukon. We would like to know about the crime level, safety, and also healthcare. Thanks
