Title. It is from Costco. Support instructed me to return to receive an undisclosed pay bump. Will I be deactivated if I keep it?

EDIT: TLDR: Support told me throw away the vacuum. (free vacuum) To clarify a few things: This was an order that required a signature to deliver. I waited about twenty minutes while I called and messaged the customer a bunch to let them know. After that I called support and waited another 5 minutes for support to reach out to the customer. After that support refunded the item for me and had me reset the batch. They said they’d send me an email with instructions on how to return the item. I got the email and they basically told me to return the item and to attach a picture of the return receipt to that email and I would be paid X for the return. I went to return the vacuum and the costco employee was giving me issues with returning the item because it was ordered via Instacart. I replied to the email and stated Costco was declining the return. They then told me sorry and to either throw away the item or donate it.

One thing to note - I believe the only reason this worked out the way it did is because support dropped the ball? I also did not receive the “batch return” on my app like others have noted.
