THE CHICKEN WAS RAW?!?!?
I posted awhile back about the Thai restaurant near Alderwood, this time I was craving some spicy chicken and I’ve tried bbq chicken a few years ago in Seattle but why is this one so bad and overpriced. $20 for 8 pieces + tip and it’s RAW?!?!
I kinda wanna ask for a refund honestly but Im worried they won’t. Anyone else had any experiences there?
I’m new, my lead told me we got points taken off cause allegedly I’m not repeating orders at register.
I’m a bit baffled cause I would repeat the drink when I’m in the process of ringing them up, I’m a week new so I’m extra cautious as well. And then I’d repeat it after I’ve finished ringing it up. Then at the end of their order I’ll repeat the entire order. Then before I say the total I’ll repeat once more. And then when they get their drink, apparently it’s wrong and my crew has to remake it. It’s a bit frustrating because I wanna make a good impression to my team but customers aren’t listening when we repeat their orders!
And what’s this point system for everything? I’m confused. Apparently it’s easier to call out sick than it is to call out for an emergency. Now there’s a point system for customer service as well? What else should I expect?
Recently bought a few things online, but they ALL never showed up to my doorstep. The first one said it was delivered but then after two days the tracking said it was returned to the sellers location. Another package just seemed like it was lost at the facility. Now I have another that was apparently delivered today but I can’t seem to find it at all so it’s making me think, are these being sent to someone else’s house or how come it’s 3 times in a row within the span of just 3 weeks that all my package are “missing” or whatever is happening.
I’ve tripled checked that my address was accurate and I’ve checked my house. I’ve even spoken to the person at the counter at my nearest post office and they told me that it’s probably just missing and nothing they can do about it, most cases doesn’t get found. So, now what???
My father’s car was on fire at 5am today near Delridge and someone who was driving by had reported it.To whoever called, thank you, you saved my family and our house!! Fire was spreading pretty fast and was already reaching our house and burnt the electrical wires, so I’m sorry to those that lost their electricity for a bit!
Not sure if my parents said anything to the firemen, but thank you guys as well, the timing was perfect!! And appreciate the hard work! Very grateful because the fire was reaching my room first.
Passed by and there was maybe more than 5 cops? I’m nosy… so many cops around Seattle and then there was that at Lynwood + a bunch of state patrol all day on the I-5!
I made a post a while ago about not receiving my package yet it saying it’s been delivered. I had another order where the item was just never delivered despite saying it should’ve been delivered 2 weeks ago, so there’s no update. I also sent out a purchase and that item seems like it got lost too and never reached the buyer.
My boyfriend bought some things from mercari as well and it just never got sent to him either, but never had this issue with eBay or so.
What’s going on???
Couple months ago bf and I were lost and we came across this neighborhood near the junction with a gorgeous view. There were so many spots to just sit and watch the view but I can’t remember where this was. Does anyone think they can recognize this place?
I recalled this spot since it had a really nice view from up high and it didn’t feel like I was in Seattle!

Got a text that all three of my packages from Mercari arrived however one of them was missing. They were all marked delivered at the same time.
Contacted the seller and they just never responded. I didnt think calling the USPS would do much because the package didn’t even have a tracking number. What do you think happened and is it too late for me to do anything now? :( it’s been 4 days now. I checked everywhere but I’m assuming someone got my mail and just decided to not return it???
A little disappointed that the seller never responded, he has over 500 reviews so I was expecting some sort of communication!
Went here recently with my bf, had a lot of 5 star reviews on Google and lots of good reviews on social media but when I got there, I thought it was pretty mid? It doesn’t really taste like Thai food I’m familiar with. My boyfriend and I ended up having stomach pain after eating so I checked the reviews again and there are a couple of 1 star reviews regarding their pad Thai and also how they consistently serve raw chicken within a span of 7 months. Any personal thoughts?

Am I the problem? Couple of times I would be part of family gatherings with my bfs family and everyone can speak English fluently but his mom. But they all default to their native tongue. I’ve talked to my bf about it maybe 5 times that I wish he could be the bridge to help me not feel excluded despite being with the family and it frustrates me when he tells me to just speak up in English and just ask “what are we talking about?” while they’re all speaking in their native tongue that I don’t understand at all. It just makes me feel like a loser.
Past few days my bf told me his brother wanted him and I to help him make some Dubai chewy cookie. But then today, when we were preparing everything my bf suddenly told me I can go upstairs and I was thinking everyone is down here and if I go up, then it seems like I don’t like being involved. I knew he assumed I’d feel left out, but I don’t care as long as my bf talks to me and bc we’ve talked about this multiple times so I trusted that maybe he’d make me feel like I’m here. But he never did. They all spoke together and stuck together the entire time and I was just kinda there…the only time he came to speak with me, he doubted my skill and complained I was doing this wrong even though my bf and I have made Dubai chewy over 5 times now and I’ve always perfected the marshmallow part. I just got annoyed bc the entire time, I know they’re not trying to actively exclude me and they’re just comfortable in their native tongue but it’s just damn… not even a little bit of interaction? And my bf barely interacting with me either or helping me feel part of this activity we are doing?
I just feel like… my bf never understands why I’m upset. He doesn’t try to help me feel involved. He keeps telling me to speak even though when I do, I get dismissed immediately or forgotten or it’s just my bf responding to me and immediately going back. Idk what he expects me to yap about when idk what they’re even talking about. Or am I not trying hard enough and I should actually just ask “hey what are we talking about?” There was a time I’ve stated idk how to feel comfortable when I don’t understand anything to his siblings bc they said I looked uncomfortable. And then they just went back to their language. Bf says they’re just introverted and he has never done this before either so I just gotta deal with it. So honestly, what do you even do in this situation
