If money wasn’t an issue, what kit would you buy?

What’s the best sounding kit for the money? Not necessarily looking to spend a few thousand dollars on a kit, but maybe up to $2,500 or so for shells alone. I have a cheap OCDP Venice kit now and I’m ready to upgrade.

Post-Covid gut inflammation and mitochondrial damage?

I’m trying to decide between SS-31 and KPV. I know there’s more that would probably help in this category, but these two seem aimed at giving your body a chance to heal.

I saw a functional doctor, and after confirming reactivated EBV she put me on TA1. I think it helped a little, but I give most credit to the carnivore diet for really getting the needle moving, as this approach healed me solely without any peptide intervention back in 2023 after a long 2 year run with severe long Covid issues until discovering carnivore. Pretty much I was back to my normal life eating/drinking whatever I wanted for 2.5 years without issue until catching Covid again in late 2025, then everything flared back up.

Symptoms are a noticeably inflamed gut, bad fatigue, mood goes to shit, health anxiety, depression, uncontrollable stress, it gets dark quick and I never experienced this until Covid. Stress is definitely an easy trigger and this is my busy season with my business and burn out is an understatement. When this happens, I’ll usually hunker down and get really strict with my diet and do things to support mitochondrial repair. I swear it works every time and gets me back to baseline, but I wonder if peptides like KPV or SS-31 would help keep me from falling into that hole to begin with?

All other symptoms gone for the most part, but left side gut discomfort/pain comes and goes since my long Covid issues started in early 2021

One of my main, yet less severe symptoms since this LC journey began is left side gut tightness/discomfort, almost like my colon is swollen or something. Gastro said muscle spasms? I’m not very tolerant to pain of any kind, so I’d say it’s more of a discomfort. It comes and goes. It usually lasts a couple weeks, then disappears at random for weeks or months before returning for another couple weeks or so. This has been on and off since 2021. Even after making a full recovery in 2023 and having lasting recovery for well over 2 years (before catching covid again in 2025 and slightly relapsing), I still had this issue during that time of feeling better. Again much less severe and much less of an impact to my life compared to having a bad run with fatigue or any of the other typical LC symptoms, but it’s definitely noticeable. Has anyone had this and figured it out? Posting here since technically I made a recovery and still feel 95% or more, but have this one lingering issue.

The feeling doesn’t really get any better or worse after a bowel movement or eating any certain way. It kind of just shows up, runs its course, then checks out until next time. Rinse/repeat for years now. I’ve seen others mention a similar issue over time, but it’s definitely far and few between compared to the more debilitating symptoms.

Honda GX series fuel cap vent?

I have a GX340 trash pump (Multiquip) and recently started having issues with it spitting/sputtering and even shutting off during WOT. If I turned it down to a little under full throttle or choked it, it would run fine for the most part. Engine has high hours so I put a new carb, plug, and air filter on it, also made sure the fuel line was flowing freely. Ran great for the first few minutes and started acting up again, except this time it was even less tolerant to messing with the throttle/choke. I pulled the gas cap to see if it was possibly a vent/vacuum issue, and sure enough it ran phenomenal at WOT as soon as I cracked the cap. I switched the cap for another one I had on another pump, no more issues.

My question is, I like fixing/creating solutions, even when it makes more sense to go on Amazon and overnight a new $10 or so fuel cap lol. First question is, can these caps be taken apart to clean the vent? Second question, has anyone simply drilled into the center of the cap and tapped the hole to accept a fitting for a ball valve? That way you can vent when needed, and close it during transport so it doesn’t slosh gas everywhere? That’s the style cap in the picture.

Beef sticks for on the go lunches/snacks?

I know the consensus seems to be whole foods only and avoid snacking, but if it’s a clean beef stick like Archer or Chomps, is that ok? I’m always on the go and it’s so much easier for me to grab like 3-4 of those beef sticks and eat them for lunch to hold me over until dinner. The ingredients are clean, it’s literally just beef. How do you guys feel about that compared to meal prepping and taking a more “official” lunch to work with me?

Why does my Chase app only show my personal credit card and not my business card all of the sudden?

Chase updated its app in the last few months and I’m no longer able to toggle between my personal and business credit card at the top of the screen. The last couple months I’ve had to log in on my computer to pay my business credit card payment, whereas with my personal card I can still do it on the app. I’ve tried calling Chase customer service, but I can’t get anyone on the phone that can speak fluent English. I’ve explored the app to see if I could find the business card, but I can’t get anything to pop up regarding it. Anyone else have 2 or more credit cards with Chase and had this issue with the app recently?

Can somebody school me on the different cotton “thickness” in shirts?

I had some shirts and tank tops made years back with my company logo. The shirts are Gildan brand and say “ultra cotton” on the tag, and the tanks are Port & Co and they don’t really say anything in terms of cotton on the tag like the Gildan does, atleast off the top of my head as I write this. The shirts get hot in the summer, and the tanks are a similar material/thickness but are much easier to wear on hot days due to no sleeves obviously. Come to find out my neighbor prints shirts and I’m about to order more. She got me some Gildan shirts in “light cotton” to try before making a big order, and so far they feel 10x better than the ultra cotton. Same with the tank top, she ordered me a Port & Co tank in a lighter material (again this brand doesn’t seem to disclose the fabric thickness like Gildan), and again feels great.

I can’t find a chart online of these different fabric thickness’s. Can someone care to explain the differences from the lightest to heaviest material? I’m assuming this varies from brand to brand. For a lighter shirt that stays cool in the summer, what would you recommend?

Automated text response?

I have a seasonal business that gets hectic quick for about 2 months or so. Since it’s seasonal, I don’t bother hiring anyone to answer the phone and do scheduling, I just do everything myself as I go. I don’t answer calls all day as my phone non-stop rings, but I have my voicemail setup to tell customers to text me with their location and what exactly they need done, just general info so I can give a quote. And at the end of the day I’ll get back to everyone that has done so and it’s always worked great that way. I do have a few shortcut texts set up so I’m not having to type the same thing repeatedly to each customer multiple times per day and that alone has worked great. Is there a system that adapts to my way of talking to customers so it can respond automatically and possibly even schedule customers without any input from me? I’m sure mistakes will be made and I’ll have to review and correct some stuff, but I feel like that alone would save me a lot of time and stress while trying to run my business.

Increased frequency in Cold sores and blisters on genitals?

Like many after catching Covid, my EBV became reactive (confirmed through bloodwork by a functional doctor). I’m not sure the connection between EBV and HPV, if it’s the same thing or not, but as far back as I can remember I’ve always been susceptible to cold sores on my lip(s) and/or a cluster of blisters on my penis towards the start of it near the body (sorry if TMI). Typically I’d only get 1-2 outbreaks per year, usually one or the other, or both; and 99% of the time they would only happen when “provoked”. Such as I’ve always had a bad habit of picking my lips when they get chapped, and usually if I picked it in the right spot and it was more than just a layer of dead skin, it would immediately cause a cold sore to appear and usually take a week to subside. Same with down stairs, something about shaving down there would cause it every once in awhile. Neither would happen every time, but again usually I’d get an outbreak once or twice per year, and rarely would happen at random without shaving/picking lol.

I had a bad flare of symptoms in February just prior to getting the confirmation of reactive EBV. I had what I suspect was Covid in January which lead to this, I’m confident in that because I’ve went down this road before with Covid back in 2020 and 2 years of “long covid” to follow. Carnivore diet seems to put most to all symptoms into remission in short time, I just have a hard time sticking with it once I feel better. I think I just like the idea of knowing I can fix the issue whenever necessary, but being able to live my life and not be so limited to what I eat when I do feel good. Anyway, I can’t remember if I had these random outbreaks during my first 2 years of long covid symptoms, but I’m on my 4th outbreak since February.. It was a random cold sore on my lip at first, followed my 3 separate incidents with a cluster of blisters on my penis. Just had one clear up not even 2 weeks ago, and another popped up yesterday.

Is this my body trying to get something out, what’s going on? I will say due to being mostly strict with the carnivore stuff, the worst of the EBV symptoms are mostly non-existent; but when I get these random outbreaks, the fatigue and sluggishness briefly comes back for the first couple days of it.

I’m always on the go with my business and my regular job. I leave early in the morning and I don’t get home until 6pm or later, sometimes midnight or later. Meal prep is always an option, I do have a heated lunchbox, but easier said than done with my schedule. I typically just do OMAD and one or two steaks at dinner (last night was a steak and a serving of ground beef). There’s no way I’m getting enough calories in like this, and is a big reason why I have a hard time sticking with carnivore long term. This will be my 4th attempt at strict carnivore and I’d love to be able to stick with it. I don’t eat bad per se, but I fill in the gaps with fruit, clean protein bars, etc. But I’d like to just cut the sugar and fiber altogether as I deal with auto-immune-like post-viral (Covid) issues and strict carnivore (beef only) is the only thing that seems to get me back to myself, but I actually have to stick with it long enough to reach that point.

I’ve looked at Lineage and some other “carnivore friendly” options, but what’s the best one if strict carnivore is the goal?
