Who have you seen that's had the best drip in or out of the lists, in your opinion?

What made it so good?

For me, inside of the lists it's one of the guys in my club, full plate, awesome helmet and custom punch shield. The guy stands about 6'8" and is quite imposing.

Out is another of my team mates with a custom arming doublet and jewellery. It looks amazing.

A few photos from my recent buhurt tournament showing my CoA on my shield.

I took all of your advice, made a few modifications and put the shield together. I'm pretty happy with how it's come out and it's only mildly different from the original one I proposed on here.

I'm looking for opinions on my design as the beginning of my coat of arms.

I don't think it's broken any rules, but happy to make amendments if required. I'd love to hear any constructive opinions on how to improve it.

I'll primarily use it on a shield for buhurt, but it's also quite good fun. The cross and scallop combine the symbols from the CoA of both sides of my family and the chevron has symbology with my profession.

Can anyone help me? I am hosting a ceilidh soon and need to figure out how to slow music down to a more appropriate pace.

I'm hosting a ceilidh (traditional Scottish dance event) this weekend. The only issue I have is that the music I have is too quick. I'm previous years people who are new can't keep up with the quick pace so I need to find a way that I can get slower music, preferably with something that I can control from my phone.

Can anyone advise on whether there are any decent apps that will slow music down without distorting the pace?

Thanks

Advice needed on how to make your own pugli sticks

I'm hosting highland games over the summer and one of the games will be a gladiator style match where you have to knock your opponent off a wood block.

Last year I got a plastic stick wrapped in foam and then cut up some pool noodles into a bunch for either side. It did the job could have been better.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to beat that?

I've just been diagnosed with vitiligo. What do I need to know?

I've been prescribed tacrolimus, but unsure how often to use it and I'm talking to the Dr about getting light treatment.

I'd be interested in hearing from others who have gone through this to see if there is anything I need to know.
