Those of you who have owned both or shopped both, what's the better family vehicle? Family of 5 (mom/dad, 5 year old, expecting #2, 70lb dog).
We've owned 3 Raptors (2 gen 1's and a gen 2), loved em, never had any issues.
We're relocating from Utah to San Diego in 2 months or so. We spend a lot of time outdoors and expect that to continue in SD.
What's the better long term play?

My home is hitting the market on Thursday and we are relocating when it sells. I travel to SD weekly, found a lot of places I love and not many I wouldn't live in.
My realtor has been sending us a lot of La Mesa/Del Cerro homes. Of the ones that have been renovated, we like what we see.
We can afford a comfortable life in any of these 3 cities - curious on the opinions of locals who actually live in University City, La Mesa, or Del Cerro. Let's assume we find a home we love in each area, where do you move and why?
