Is the Moda Center switching to SeatGeek?

I popped open SeatGeek today for Thorns tickets and saw that Blazers tickets are in there. I thought that Moda Center was a Ticketmaster only venue, and that’s why we couldn’t get free MAX tickets w our Fire tickets, because Ticketmaster wouldn’t split out the dollar per ticket that SeatGeek does to cover this. Does this mean we might get free MAX with our Fire tickets next year?

What to play after HFW?

Hello! I’m in such a game drought and nothing has hit as hard as these games for me. I wish I could magically play them again for the first time. Below is stuff I have played before and how much I liked it and I’m hoping to get some new recs from the community! I know there are many posts like this and I have read many of them and gotten suggestions from them, but I wanted to see if any newer games had piqued people’s interest since obviously newer stuff keeps coming out. I love the beautiful open world, the combat, and the sheer creativity of the world of Horizon. I also love getting to play as a woman but that’s not a deal breaker.

Stuff I loved: Ghost of Yotei, Hogwarts Legacy (lmao)

Stuff I liked: Tsushima, Assasin’s Creed Shadow and Mirage, the Last of Us 1 and 2, Uncharted, Blue Prince (totally different game but I think the slowly unfolding mystery has a lot in common with Zero Dawn)

Stuff I have not been able to get into: Baldur’s Gate, Elden Ring (I might be too stupid for these games tbh)

Help a sister out! Or anyone else who comes across this post later.

What are your favorite bike trails?

Hi! I recently moved to the area from DC and I'm trying to get back into long bike rides, like the Springwater Corridor. I have a great road bike and was wondering what everyone's favorite bike trails are. I live in NE but I have a bike rack on my car and could drive to wherever. I'm happy to bike to a trail as well I just would rather get right to the fun part where I'm not dodging cars. (I have an ebike to get around the city and I'm happy to dodge cars on that :) )

Feel free to direct me to an app or some other place with this info - in DC, outside of like, the WABA bike map, I found word of mouth was the best way to get route ideas from people.

In DC, I loved to ride my bike ~10 miles on the Anacostia River Trail to a great local coffee shop, grab a snack, and then ride back (including this detail in case any other DC to PDX transplants see this and are like "yes, this local route is the same vibe").

What Midtown bar would be showing the Sparks (WNBA) game tonight?

Hi! I realize it’s a very random game, and also not the most exciting thing to New Yorkers in the basketball world at the moment, but I’m staying in Midtown / Times Square area, visiting from Seattle, and would love to be able to watch! I know not all bars show women’s sports unless they are a defined women’s sports bar.

BESTA top panel adhesive small part (108064) - where to purchase replacement?

Hello! My spouse and I have been setting up the BESTA wall mounted cabinet, and we need to attach the top panel. However we lost the little adhesive stickers it came with (part 108064). These aren't a part you can buy from IKEA online - does anyone have a recommendation for a "dupe"? Looks like this:

Getting from EWR to Penn Station on NJ Transit - can I buy ticket

Hello! I'm going to be landing at EWR next Wednesday around 4 PM and plan to take NJ transit to get to Penn Station. Given delays, etc. my plan was to use the NJ transit app to buy a ticket for the next train when I actually have my luggage and am on the platform. Is this realistic? Do the trains often sell out? My fear with buying tickets in advance is that something goes wrong and I miss my train and am SOL for the next one.

Gas stations with car washes?

Recent transplant asking again for another niche recommendation that Google Maps is failing me on 😅

So far the only gas station I’ve found with a car wash is the Chevron on NE 122nd, and I’m really only out that way if I am going to Costco. Are there any closer to the river? (Bonus: are there any off 26 on the way out towards Hillsboro?)

I’m looking for just a standard automated “I purchase a car wash with my gas” sort of place, not looking for a human attendant I need cash to tip or somewhere like Washman where I need to get out of my car.

Favorite breakfast sandwich / coffee place in NE?

Hello! My spouse and I recently moved here from DC and in DC we had this set routine of “order coffee and breakfast sandwich, then get on the road and go hiking”. We haven’t found a place in Portland that meets our criteria for this:

* Has breakfast sandwiches
* Has espresso drinks
* can order online
* ideally in NE but will travel

Do any of y’all have recommendations for places? Thanks in advance!

Where to get a single (replacement) San Francisco pasta bowl?

Hello! I….somehow….have misplaced one of my nectar colored San Francisco pasta bowls. (We cannot find it? It’s so weird.)

Anyways, where could I find a single replacement one? Online they only sell them in groups of 4. There is a Le Creuset outlet store nearish to me, but I wasn’t sure if they would have singles and I thought someone in this group might know!

How do y'all keep the big ol' flies out of your house?

Hello!

Question in the title. This is my first Portland summer and also my first with an actual yard, and I was wondering if y'all have any kind of traps, repellant etc. you recommend to keep the flies out of your yard.

TIA!

Hi friends! Question in the title. Something that's so convenient about going to Thorns games is you get to ride the MAX for free! Will the same be true for the Fire, since they share an ownership group? I Googled this but didn't get anywhere. Thanks!
