Today I had the worst game

We started on attack, and I picked Angela. At first, I had Thing as a second tank. We took the first point pretty easily. I got a few good kidnaps on their supports. In the middle of the second point, we suddenly stalled. My Thing, who was 0-5, swapped to Punisher. I didn't swap off Angela at first. I managed to knock a few people off the map and we pushed the payload further. I decided to stay on Angela, and we almost pushed it to the end. Meanwhile, my DPS were aggressively arguing with the supports.

Then, while waiting for the defense round to start, one of our three DPS started blaming me, typing in all-chat to report me. Two supports on voice defended me. Then the other two DPS also started flaming me in chat. I said I wouldn't solo tank and picked Squirrel Girl. They kept typing insults. I said you can all pick tank — there's no role queue. Toward the end of the game, one of the DPS picked Venom. I immediately swapped back to Angela. He played Venom for 30 seconds, then swapped back to DPS and continued typing insults. We lost, and after the game, the three DPS were typing in all-chat that I should be reported.

Honestly, if they hadn't started insulting me, I would have solo tanked. But I just felt so hurt that no matter how well I play, people will just wipe their feet on me and force me to do what they want. Why is that? I've never seen this before. Usually, there's one toxic person on a team who complains about everything, but here there were three, and they were mostly insulting me. Even though I didn't type anything in chat before they started insulting me.

Using trackers to gain an advantage

I'm encountering more and more often that the enemy team bans my teammates' mains. I will never believe that in Diamond, the first ban is Fist/Rogue/Black Panther and other non-meta characters (I understand that players might know each other, recognize nameplates, etc., but when all 3 bans are targeted, it's suspicious). Yes, I understand that you need to have several characters in your pool and so on, but this is first and foremost a blow to morale. People in this game already have weak mentals, and when half your team gets target-banned, it's just bullying. After a ban phase like that, I can't play without thinking about what other third-party software my opponents might be using to gain an advantage. I report every such case as cheating software, and honestly, I think it's impossible for any anti-cheat to detect this. But this can't be left as is — the developers need to take action.

Update: This works even if the name is hidden. Today I had a tracker abuser on my team, and he said the enemy team has a Panther main and a Spider-Man main. We didn't ban them. After the game started, we saw that we were playing against Panther and Spider-Man, and one of them had a hidden name.

You did it!

Congratulations to the entire Hulk community! I'm very happy for you, my fellow tank brothers. Even though I don't play Hulk myself, I'm always glad to see him on my team. Every Hulk I've ever met has been a great teammate. I hope that what you've done will really make the developers reconsider their attitude toward skins for unpopular characters. Either way, this is a VICTORY. Congratulations on behalf of all Rogue mains!

The double zone technique — one from the ult and one from Divine Judgment. Does this technique still work?

Does this technique still work? I watch old videos where they talk about it a lot. I've watched new videos and haven't seen anything like it.

About solo tanking

You know, I don't mind solo tanking if my team asks me, if we discuss our comp and some strategy. For good, polite people, I'm willing to try my best, because I'm sure if it gets really tough, they'll swap.

But I'm not ready to do it when people see I've picked a tank and then silently lock in 3 DPS, forcing me to solo tank.

Current Magik combos

Friends, I'm a Rogue main and I've wanted to learn to play my compatriot Illyana for a long time. The problem is that all the combo videos I find for her are from seasons 1-2 and are outdated. Please share current combos and maybe some tips. Thanks in advance.

Angela's lore

Can someone briefly tell me about her? I heard she originally appeared in Spawn comics, and then Marvel bought her. From in-game voice lines, she's Thor's sister and she wants to save her sister Lausa. Who is Lausa? Why doesn't Angela see Thor the same way? What is Heven? In one voice line to Invisible Woman, she says they don't like men there — is that like a Marvel version of Amazons?"

Angela vs other flyers

I'm learning to play Angela and I have a problem with enemy flyers — I lose every matchup miserably. Three outcomes: either I die, or I run away, or the enemy runs away. I understand that Angela should theoretically cause a lot of trouble for other flyers, but I don't understand how. I often miss my dash on them, and the damage from one charged attack isn't enough. Even when I try to play like an annoying mosquito — land a charged attack, fly away, then another charged attack — it doesn't work against Ultron because his drones keep passively healing his team. And against Torch / Iron Man, I usually just die. And Storm I just never met lol.

This season is really... rough

How are you finding this season? Nothing is working for me. Gambit is always banned. Everywhere there's Dinosaur, Punisher, Star-Lord who I can't catch, triple support with Mantis. I just can't kill anyone, I can't stay alive. I don't know, maybe I'm just burned out. I can't even make it work in quick matches...

Does it make sense to use the cleanse for healing?

I'm trying to understand Gambit's nuances. Is it worth using the cleanse E+F for AoE healing, or does E+E always heal more? Also, I've almost never found a use for the offensive F+E. It feels like the anti-heal from F+F is always better. Maybe I'm missing something?

My idea for Rogue buffs (long post)

A few days before the patch notes for the new season dropped, I was thinking about what buffs could compensate for the removal of the team-up with Gambit. I think Rogue's damage is fine — what she really lacks is sustain, mobility, and a few quality-of-life changes.

  1. Reset all ability cooldowns upon activating her ultimate, and MAYBE increase the radius to 10 meters. This would help her dive better while using her ult and prevent her from being easily kited.

  2. Overshields from her shift — each tick of damage generates a small amount of shields, and pulling an enemy (regardless of whether it hits) also gives some overshields. I think this would be a great addition to her shift — the more people you hold inside its area, the more overshields you get, which is perfect for a brawler. Adding overshields could also be balanced by slightly reducing her base HP, for example to 625.

  3. The third hit in her combo — it's very slow, doesn't do much damage, and often gets canceled into some ability. I think it either needs to be sped up or given some kind of effect. Honestly, I'm not entirely sure what would be best, so I'll just show you my ideas:

    · A small AoE explosion similar to the team-up effect, but without healing — this would help build her ult faster if you hit two enemies.

    · Make the third hit reduce ability cooldowns or speed up block recovery.

    · The third hit grants overshield.

  4. Increase the duration of the buffs from her ability absorption by a couple of seconds, to allow more time to properly use the stolen ability. Also, it would be great if, in addition to the existing buffs, it also gave a small amount of movement speed — 5–10%.

I think this would be enough. I've also seen someone suggest reducing the cooldown of her ability absorption if you miss or get interrupted, but I think that would be too much burst mobility.

I also have a few ideas for stolen abilities:

· Iron Fist — would enhance her block, making it absorb 100% of damage for the next 2–3 seconds.

· Angela — would enhance her E, so that slamming into the ground leaves spikes similar to Angela's E.

· Mantis — instead of sleep, would give a heal OR a damage boost (I don't know which is better) to herself and two nearby allies. I think that fits perfectly with Mantis's new changes, plus it wouldn't be stealing yet another boring CC.

If anyone's interested, I have level 45 on Rogue (about 60 hours).

Why isn't Punisher permabanned?

Maybe I'm not understanding something? Punisher has solid poke damage, and usually poke heroes are countered by dive. But Punisher has 300 HP and a shotgun that 1-2 taps squishy divers up close and absolutely destroys most melee tanks. Thanks to his ziplines, he can get back into the fight quickly after dying. And finally, his ult charges fast, can kill through support ults, and has CC immunity. Only Magneto can counter this monster, and even then, Punisher builds his ult 1.5–2 times faster then Mag. Please, at least nerf his shotgun so he doesn't destroy dive tanks.

Give me a couple of tips

I've always wanted to learn how to play Angela, and over the last few days I've been actively playing her and feel like I've gotten better — better at moving around. But I still don't understand what to do when the entire enemy team is standing right next to each other. I can't kidnap anyone, I get grounded and die, or I just fly around and watch, not daring to fly in. Please give me some advice.

Did they just revert Rocket's ult nerf from season 5.5?

I played actively in season 5 and remember Rocket could charge his ult within the first 30 seconds of the game. Of course, that won't happen now because ults charge slower, but something tells me Rocket will still charge his ult faster than any other support. Now let's think about what a nightmare it'll be when both teams have a giant dinosaur running around that's VERY easy to hit and needs constant healing. I'm quitting tanking and becoming a Rocket OTP. I'll be ulting every minute, lol.

I'm a Rogue main, and I want to learn how to play Angela, but I don't understand how to move around the map with her. When I play her, something always slows me down — it feels like every ability in this game cancels my flight. What really annoys me is Invisible Woman's vortex. But every time I play against a Lord Angela, they fly around very calmly, not dragging their belly on the ground like I do.

From my own experience, I'd say it's Punisher. Constant damage from the rifle at long range, a shotgun that destroys up close, he's hard to kill because of his 300 HP, and on top of that, you literally can't do anything about his turret.
