i started this novela last year and i still have not finished it as of this post.
I genuinely want to know if I'm the only one.
I was really enjoying the novela until the scene where Ariel forces himself on Bianca.
What shocked me even more than the scene itself was how the story handled it afterward.
It felt like the narrative brushed it aside almost immediately. Bianca didn't seem to process it in a way that matched the gravity of what happened, the other characters barely acknowledged it, and the show quickly went back to focusing on the affair and family drama.
I actually had to stop watching because of it.
i came back a few weeks later and watched a few more episodes, but I could never finish the novela. Every interaction afterward felt different to me because I couldn't get past the fact that something so serious had happened and the story barely treated it like it mattered.
Am I alone in feeling this way? Did anyone else find the handling of that storyline really jarring?

looking back, it's actually so obvious. I was a huge Arrow watcher, and in hindsight the mansion looks incredibly familiar. I have no idea how I never made the connection. 😭
maybe its cause I watched Smallville several years before Arrow, so I never had them in my head at the same time.
