Itzy base is lurking here👀

It’s a real social media where you can interact with other people besides doing series reviews. For now the only way to access is to receive a code from someone, i received mine recently from a person on Twitter, it was kinda hard, I would recommend to dm GL. Werse on Instagram. https://www.instagram.com/glwerse?igsh=MWtpZHc3enY0aTY2cA==
Edit‼️
This code system won’t be here forever most likely, it was put probably temporary to avoid the app to crash with the influx of log in, with the time they will definitely figure this out.
Izna, I don’t know the members names though 😔
Disclaimer: i like all the idols in the first slide, don’t get me wrong.😭
This is directed towards people that are genuinely clueless about the real meaning of this term. Don’t take this too seriously, it’s just an educational post! I feel like people watered down this term so much that it lost its meaning.
"Masc" is short for masculine. It describes women who genuinely feel most comfortable presenting as masculine all the time. Not just a temporary fashion trend.
A lot of people think some female idols become "masc" when they get a short haircut(most of the time forced by the company) or wore baggy clothes. But it's way deeper than that.
A real example of masc is Amber Liu from f(X), on the second slide. Since her debut in the group, way back in 2009, Amber has always been masculine presenting. It wasn’t a concept or something that the company forced on her, she’s still like this till this day and the group is not active anymore.
The rest of the female Kpop idols out there are feminine women, they may be women attractors, but that’s really it, some are/were “masc” because the company forced this image on them and they had to adapt, others genuinely embrace a more “masculine” style expression but it’s temporary and not their identity, and that’s okay.
I don’t have a real issue with people that use this term jokingly, but I always hope that people know the meaning of the term they are using, that’s it.

📍Edit: I want to add that I’ve never said that you can’t be a masc if you wear makeup, it’s about consistency, it’s part of your identity, it’s not something temporary or a concept. Some of these female idols do have a more masculine self-expression, but that doesn’t make them automatically masc; they’re tomboyish at most. At the end of the day, these labels aren't strict rules or mandatory boxes you have to fit into. The key difference is that for idols like Amber, this is their everyday identity, while for others, it's just one fluid shade of how they like to express themselves.
Reason why she’s the face of this subreddit 🙂↕️

Thank you to everyone who took part in this survey! Unfortunately, I had to close the form two days early due to personal schedules, but I still managed to get 328 responses, and I’m incredibly grateful for that. I really tried my best to organize and display the data well, and I hope I didn't make any mistakes lol.
That being said, I wanted to address some of the messages I received in the feedback section about the subreddit. I am so glad that many of you view this sub as a safe space, it honestly makes me so happy. Of course, I am also totally open to constructive criticism!
Lack of posts around music
I understand the desire for more music discussions, but at the same time, I don’t want this subreddit to become just another community about girl groups. I feel like that would take away from our main purpose: a dedicated space for queer women to talk about girl groups and have lgbt related conversations. Talking about queer-coded or queer music makes total sense here! However, general music discussion feels a bit out of topic, subreddits like r/KpopGGs already exist for that.
Lack of discussion
I completely agree that this subreddit needs more discussion posts, as it's a great way to get the community more involved. Whenever I have an idea for a discussion, I usually make a post about it, but personally, I find it quite hard to constantly come up with new topics. We could start a weekly discussion thread, but I'm not entirely sure what the topics should be. It would be fun to have something engaging enough to make people actually want to participate, so I am completely open to any ideas on how to make it interesting!
Low effort / Visuals focused posts
I don't think there's anything wrong with sharing idols pics, because this sub was always meant to be a lighthearted place first. However, I agree that we need more engaging content. Again, I’m open to any suggestions.
Minors / Idols that look young
I noticed a few complaints about this, and I want to remind everyone that this is exactly why I banned posts featuring minor idols on this sub. That being said, some posts might slip under the radar. This is why I always urge to report any posts featuring minor idols so I can take immediate action. On the other hand, I can’t really do anything for idols that are above the age of 18 at least. I don't think it makes sense to raise the age limit for eligible idols because it would become too subjective honestly.
"Fetishy" posts
I noticed some users complaining about "fetishy" posts. I always try to take those posts down if they go way too far.
Thank you all for the constructive criticism, we will try to keep the community clean.
I hope we will be able to 😭

I don’t know about y’all, but I hate when in Thai GLs, characters throw away food, it’s such a waste, like if you’re mad at your person at least give the food to someone else you’re I close with or something, why throw away food that it’s still edible, I can’t😭
Wine in Enemies with benefits ep6 >!throwing away the food that Lal made for her hurt me!<
😭
