We call it "The Nest"

Something needed to be done. The Collective had discovered our planetary breeding grounds, and none of our offspring were hatching with individuality. Only the crushing authoritarianism of the hive mind.

So we scoured the archives, hoping to find somewhere, anywhere, the Collective hadn't reached. We eventually settled on a small planet in the Orion system, called Earth. The archives mentioned little of the main inhabiting species of the planet, except that they had live births, something the Collective was incapable of corrupting, and their "odd" behaviors.

No further information was given on the latter subject. But as for the former, it was a sign that we may yet be able to find a sanctuary for our unborn. So we set off on a cloaked ship, containing the thousands of eggs of the next generation. A small population in the grand scale, but all that we could salvage from the Collective plague.

As we arrived on Earth, a few of our offspring had already hatched, and as we pleaded with Humanity for help, it wasn't our words that convinced them, but our children. They were distressed at unfamiliar surroundings, but as they came close to the humans, they calmed down, settling into the human's arms.

It was the first odd behavior that we noticed. Humanity will bond with anything. Regardless of species or appearance. We were eased at the sight of it, and an agreement was reached. Humanity would safeguard our next generation, while we fought the Collective, but before the deal was signed, disaster struck.

A Collective ship had tracked us the whole way. We worried that we were about to lose the only hope we had left. Until Humanity revealed it's second odd behavior. To these children, whom they had met not hours ago, they had sworn to protect them with their lives.

The only thing more odd than Humanity's bonding behavior is how willing they are to protect those bonds. Air strikes, land forces, anti orbital bombardment. Within 24 hours, the Collective ship and its forces were destroyed. Humanity's losses were numerous. Thousands injured, hundreds dead, but the casualties among our offspring, numbered zero.

Not a single child was lost to the Collective. Never before could we have claimed to have protected every child from them. That day, a strong message was sent to the Collective. One they have not yet forgotten.

Earth is defended. The Nest is safe.

Trying to balance this spell

So this idea popped into my head and I'm trying to balance it appropriately.

Spell Name: Karmic Annihilation

Target: Self

Description: User calls upon (insert diety name here) to pay for their sins. Roll ?d(insert die here) based on alignment (Lawful +1, Neutral +2, Chaotic +3, Good +1, Neutral +2, Evil +3). Damage is dealt in ?m radius. Any creature hit has Karmic Annihilation cast on them.

The idea is to be a sacrificial spell meant for wiping large hordes as a last resort. It's just the numbers I need to make sure of.

Is this normal?

So I'm playing summoner, and to unlock my next skill (lvl 35) I need to hunt Titan. Now I am level 35 right now, and after checking the wiki just to see how many questions stand between me and the next primal, I realized I was 40 quests away.

I see that I have over leveled slightly. Is it normal to be over leveled for the story? Or has my habit of doing every bit of side content made an ass of myself?

I can't even imagine how long it is until I hunt Garuda for lvl 45.

Need a semi idle game

What it says in the title. I'm tired of every idle game devolving into the "login, upgrade, log out" loop. So I'm looking for an idle game that still has an active play style when I'm in, but will still idle progress when I'm out.

Which game original character has the fastest growth?

I originally had this question as it pertains to Shallot's (DBLegends) growth speed, but when I started looking into other characters, such as the protags of Xenoverse 1 and 2 who also appear to have outstanding growth speed, but the main problem being it's hard to get accurate times for each game.

Xenoverse 1 can reasonably be said to take place over the span of at least a year with the use of the dragon balls at the start and end, but no such factor can be used to get timelines for Legends or Xenoverse 2.

If any other game specific character stands out for having absurd potential feel free to let me know.

Hunting Horn Progression

Hey all. I just started a new save and was looking to play Hunting Horn this time around.

Last time I played Hunting Horn, I just kept with the iron tree, which worked, but I'm looking to branch out more this time, and experiment with other horns.

So for all you five of you who will read this and play Hunting Horn, please give me some suggestions. Equipment suggestions are also very much welcome, as well as any other tips, tricks, or preferred food buffs.

Asta vs other magic series

Can you imagine Asta being put in any other magic verse? How does he perform in Fairy Tail, or perhaps Frieren. God forbid you put him in Harry Potter. The series would last 2 hours.
